PES 2019 Discussion Thread (PS4, XB1)

I am getting the feeling that the present company/dev team are never going to bring this football game up to the levels that I expect. And for that reason....I'm out.

Glad my list sparked up this Wishlist talk for the past couple of pages :D
Actually, I'm glad it made the Thread move on, because it was stuck in a senseless debate.

Hello friends . I made a video Feedbacks to develop and build the next version PES ( PES 2020 )

And I added your comments And Feedback friends too. I hope you satisfied. Try this feedback video in the hands of the Developer PES team. Good luck

Great video!

And just by watching those PES 2013 clips... damn! Nostalgia got the better of me.
Whenever I see PES 2013 videos and see those animations like Messi's running and dribbling ones, it makes me want to reinstall it.
For me, PES 2013 still has the best player ID and the best dribbling and running with the ball mechanics. (Note: I forgot to add that to my list! PLAYER ID! how could I forgot about something so important?!)

Like I said: Konami should try to re-create PES 2013 in 4K+HD, and bring it up to 2019 levels. Instead of PES 5 or 6.

Sorry i have totally different opinion than yours. Pes 2013 mechanics and animations looks weird and ugly compare to FIFA 13. Pes 2013 looks like game from PS2 era in animations department. All Pes games since 2008-2013 looks like past gen not next gen in PS3 era. Pes 2014 it was first next gen game with proper mechanics animations like FIFA level in XBOX 360/PS3 era.

Probably. But if you watch @Datiss77 video, just compare the real life clips of Messi and then watch Messi's Player ID in PES 2013. The way he carries the ball glued to his foot and then he pushes it forward, and right before the defender gets to it, he changes direction... and again, and again, and again. It's PERFECTLY represented in PES 2013. And it's no surprise, since, if you remember, PES 2011 was the last game they worked with MESSI (they had the motion capture and everything), then by PES 2012 they started working with CR7, so by PES 2013 they had both motion captures recreated into PlayerID in the game.

As much as I like or dislike PES 2019, the best players don't feel like their real life counterparts. And if you think about it, maybe that's because it's been a long time since Konami actually had the chance to work with superstars and capturing their moves. I think the last time was Neymar. And that's probably the only player that feels similar when you control him, since PES 2016.

Gotta agree here!

I know where the praise to PES 2013 is coming from and even I played it a lot, I didn´t enjoy it as much as PES 2011 and now PES 2019 (post patch).
The ML was a bit deeper, yeah....with the sponsors, boots etc.
But once you had the money for the sponsors, the interest in that regard was gone.
I still hope KONAMI is going to add a bit more features to the current ML, even I´m able to enjoy it at the moment.

Well, it´s down to everyone´s individual likings and expectations. I´m all for animations and physics and I couldn´t put my hands on PES 2013 this time. Also, I have to agree that FIFA 13 looked a lot better in animations than PES 2013 which was very robotic in that section.
But if animations is not the priority, I can understand why one would chose PES 2013 over any other release.

I forgot how PES 2013 felt in that regard...but along with my imagination it had a great player ID.
I remember having Lampard in my MLO and he was able to shoot rockets from outside of the box cause of his high kicking power. Martins and Walcott were my fast wingers. It was fun, yeah.

But I don´t feel there is absolutely no player ID in PES 2019. Weighty bully players like Lukaku do feel weighty and dribblers like Messi feel lighter. Players with a high kicking power shoot rockets and players with a lower one don´t.
At least that´s how I see and feel it.

But that's probably something an indie company could achieve, man!
We expect more from a big company like Konami, don't we?. Player-specific animations, reactions, skills, stats, etc.
There aren't many stars left in today's football (I'd say 20? If that!), let alone superstars (maybe 4 or 5?). They could at least focus on those 20 and re-create them as best as possible (and I know they can). It would have such a huge impact on the game.

Mo Salah's PlayerID in PES 2019 feels like this:

Just kidding.

I put in that video. I meant only the dribbling system in PES 2013. Otherwise, the 2013 version animations were really bad.

Player ID And CPU Ai in PES 2013 Amazing . And just on my talk were the same as artificial intelligence and dribbling system And Player ID .

In the 2013 version, AI was very realistic and humane. And I was just talking about artificial intelligence. Otherwise the animations were really bad. The reason for the decline of the PES seventh generation was the poorly animations System.

I quite enjoy the player ID when I am using the players myself, it's when the A.I. has them under control and doesn't use their strengths which is a problem. Recently I beat Juventus, they were quite tough but Ronaldo did sod all, if it weren't for player names on screen I would not have noticed him at all.

About Messi Version 2013 :

something shows the style of Messi real. The same artificial intelligence of Messi. And the Ultimate Dribbling System is 2013.

i can be said that the players' Motion and behavior in the 2013 version was very real.

The reason :

1 - Real Player ID

2 - AI

3 - Dribbling System

But Animation System In PES 2013 Very Poor . ( Of course, the Animation messi is well designed )

Good vid but shouldnt it be called pes19 feedback? Pes 20 isnt out yet!
A series of problems. Which does not fix the update.

Like Master League ، Presentations And .....

Should try now. So our feedback will reach the Developer PES team. Otherwise, after the release of the 2020 version, it's no longer worthless. Feedback on presentations and .....

Yeah sure, we expect more from them, but then us PES fans have our experiences with KONAMI :P .
I don´t say that player ID is nothing that needs to be worked on. But to me it doesn´t feel that it is absolutely not there.

They did a lot in the gameplay section with the latest patch, which surely would have been expected with the release of the game. Once they nailed it, they can smoothen out all the other sections like player ID, ML, presentation etc.

At the same time you have to pray that with the next patches, they won´t screw up any of the things that feel right now in the gameplay. Cause it´s KONAMI^^.

And that's only two of them Messi and CR7(motion capture sessions) looks good enouhgt in motion but the rest looks rubbish. It was terrible time for KONAMI (2008-2013) in technically/technology aspects. That time killed PES. Pes 2014 should be Pes 2008.

PES2013 was so full of potential as it marked the start of full manual possibilities, but the CPU AI awareness was gamebreaking and the physics were dumbed down (you won´t ever find a high deflection in this game).

I agree. I think player ID is good enough when you use the player itself.. great room for improvements of course, not this bad either tho.

But then when you look at the AI side, it's kinda ridiculous to even call it "player id" and not program it like, at all to at least try to imitate decently the playstyle of whoever is in question.

I played 3 exhibition matches on FUMA for...well...first time ever. Everything manual + advanced through balls.
As Denzel Washington as you can get.
Fucking hell, them matches kept me on my toes! Oh yeah, dropped difficulty to Profesional from Superstar as I ain't Denzel afterall..
Played against Feyenoord, Valencia and Fiorentina, with my ML team Wolves.
Lost all 3 (oops)
But I wasnt obliderated. 0-1, 1-2, 1-2.
So long story short - scored my first two manual goals ever. Seriously considering changing settings to those in my ML as I had lots of fun!
Questions
1.Do you guys use L2 when shooting?
2.any tips on shooting apart of practice practice practice?
3. @philla do you play FUMA on Legend???

This morning I played a couple International matches, cup mode. I’m sure I found my settings now. Professional, PA0, -1 speed. Not easy at all, and Cpu is not as crazy as in Superstar.
I struggled against Iceland on a 1-1 draw. They played defensively, so it was hard to break their defense.
Next, I won 2-0 against Ukraine, but very lucky result for me. They had 56% posession, 7 shots 3 of them hit the post. I scored from a lucky deflection and a Ronaldo free kick.
Ah, another thing, I actually saw the cpu dribling on a match against Fc Porto. Brahimi made a couple dance moves wich left a smile on my face. Yep, pro is the level now to a more balanced experience.
Higher than that seems too much, stiff and unrealistic.

Same game speed here.
What about Shot Type?

L2 + visual arrow is the way to go to get into full manual. In previous PES titles (when full manual was only possible by holding L2) i used to sellotape the L2 button, so i always had the visual feedback by the arrow in ball possession.

I play full manual on legend difficulty. And i am having a hard time. But PES2019 is simply too dependent of legend difficulty (to get reasonable midfield play and urgency) for me to tone the difficulty down. But it is a lot of fun trying not to get relegated with a low team.

What mode?

International Cup. Usually, on previous editions, this would be a walk in the park. This year I really struggle to get my chances on Pro, and defending I’m not that safe either, so the challenge is fine like this.

Basic for now. But I might try other options soon.
Highly recommend Advanced, pal.
Just go to training ground and play against one defender to practice. Or even your full team against the keeper.
Took me about 10-15 mins for it to click. Once it clicks its fantastic.
Full manual - not sure yet. Its scary.

Full manual educates you to play soccer. You won´t be disappointed and it will never get boring.

Initial feeling is that adjusting directions on manual shots is very sensitive. Basically, to shoot on goal i had to aim ➡️ at goal. Any minimal change in order to go to the corner was going wide.
But I shall practice with L2

One important thing in recent Pes that's missing is that you can't run with the ball and do quick little direction turns. Look how close Messi has the ball on his foot in real life and he still has an incredible pace. In Pes you can either just run very slow and do fast turns or run fast and have the ball way too far away from your foot and therefore Messi doesn't feel like Messi in Pes and that part was way better in Pes 6 or Pes 13.
