Re: Liverpool Thread(I Just Can't Get Enough!!)
From the bbc.
Police investigating an incident of alleged abuse by fans towards Oldham Athletic defender Tom Adeyemi have arrested a man.
Merseyside Police said a 20-year-old man from the Aintree area of Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.
An investigation was launched after Friday night's Liverpool v Oldham football game at Anfield.
The man is being held in custody and being interviewed by detectives.
Merseyside Police have confirmed no arrests have been made for racial abuse. Nick Parrot from the BBC, the steward who was in the area and a number of fans have all said no racist abuse was used. The people escorted out were drunk and swearing and "Manc bastard" was shouted.
So, no evidence of racial abuse, actual evidence of something different .... But let's all jump on the bandwagon anyway. Some people are as bad as the "journalists", desperate for scandal. Ridiculous.
Enjoy the rest of the season.
