eFootball (All Platforms)

so all we need to do is, finding a person who's not into more money making (because he or she got enough already) but likes to "push something" and get this new project started!
there must be at least one person in this world, being a football (video game fan) and being ready to put some millions down, who could sponsor such a fan loved project!
if you hear me, sultan of whatever, king or queen from wherever, rich kid or adult... we (the community) are ready to work hard for that dream!

edit: opening an account on some website to get attention and funding started sure aint easy. but if there was a base team, programmers, artists, tech guys, volunteers... this really could draw attention for some sponsoring. im not talking about regular crowd funding but getting the attention of some rich people who are ready to invest in something that would make thousands of users happy and the sponsors name unforgettable (by the community)! just daydreaming here! ;)

edit: if i go to Dubai one day, i will only wear one shirt for the whole vacation: "the pitch could be ours - make a dream come true (call 555 - WINNINGELEVEN"

I'm 100% convinced that if some new developer could make a pretty basic template for a football game (proper physics and movements etc.) with complete editing freedom...that this forum could make an incredible game in literally 2 months.

Here's the craziest thing - if offered an incredible offline experience that's immersive, challenging and rewarding....I'm pretty sure you could charge double the regular price and people would buy it.

I want someone to make a subscription based game for the serious offline player. Constant updates and innovation. I would gladly pay for that monthly if the devs were committed and communicated with the audience.

PES is making way too much money from Mobile and My Club now to ever truly care about gameplay again. When we were younger Master League and gameplay were "mobile" and "my club" of it's time so that's where the resources went. If the gameplay wasn't great or the ML wasn't engaging they would lose money. Now that's not really the case.

A new challenger appears.

But it's Ubisoft.
Forgot about this?

but in short things like fake strikes, the strikes in general, close control, removing the R2 + pass mechanics for a higher or for a bit more accurate low pass, and the defense play will be a HUGE problem, etc.
Fake strikes were in, changed to a new key binding. R2 + circle for high pass was still in. Double tap for low cross was still in. I was surprised to see a lot of people saying things were removed then playing it and finding they were still there! Loads of people saying no Super Cancel, but when I tried it it worked, and sure enough it was in their controls section like normal.

Granted there are still further changes and things to worry about :)
That for me still means that it's an old build made with the purpose of just testing the connection as they said, and they don't want any one to think it's PES or near to the final product, because it won't be like that
It's much more likely they were doing it because they're changing the name, which has been forthcoming for a while now let's face it. I said this pretty much the day of the beta, and I'm really surprised people think the placeholder name means anything else.
You say that - it'd be pretty cool if, after the announcement, you could grab a new beta, or a demo. Unless it was barely changed from the last one.
For some unexplained reason, I'm feeling like this might happen. Who knows...
that Neymar looks so sad... what does he know!? ;)

...that look of despair!

That was the joke - in The Simpsons, the monkey paw grants your wish, but in such a way that you hate it. As in the phrase, "be careful what you wish for".
Ooh, I see. Thanks for the explanation
never watched the Simpsons

...to THIS!
someone should explain to that guy what downgrades are and just how well they've been mastered by ubisoft

24hrs until we see the reason why PES 21 was postponed, 24hrs until we find out what Konami have been developing for over 2 years, 24hrs until we see how Konami have mastered the new engine, 24hrs until the 'photo realistic' football game that wows crowds is announced......

Actually 24hrs until a brief CGI trailer announcing a future full reveal date is launched.

There is only one outcome from tomorrows announcement - Disappointment. And you all know it.

"Rumors" from web

We could have 2 versions of Pes

1)Free to play on PS4 in September without any offline mode
2)Complete Game with all offline mode only for PS5 and Xbox, in January

Take it just as a "rumors" nothing else

If this is true ----take with a pinch of salt------then I call the Death of the PES series. If they can't release offline modes for PS5 by "end of year" ...

This seems a sensible reply.

Sounds like rumours that probably started with Renan, fed into the rumour sphere, wound their way into the Japanese blog, then translated and outputted again as a fresh rumour by Galvani

Faces are pobably the only thing that we all agree they are very good at.

I am betting It Will look Far better than the demo. Not sure If on the teaser level

I did initially, but link "New Football Game" to @Ameppe's spot that all mention of PES is being removed and replaced with eFootball across the official sites, and... It seems to me like they're very purposefully dropping "PES" and severing all ties with the idea that it's even related, any more.

Being in marketing, I know that companies never, ever drop a brand name with strong brand recognition (it's so hard to get that any more), unless A) they're either trying to distance themselves from their old customers and desperately chase a younger audience ("hey kids, that crusty old PES game your dad talks about, we're not that - we're new and cool")... Or B) the brand has got a terrible quality reputation, and they want to "start again" so that customers don't realise it's them.

You say that - it'd be pretty cool if, after the announcement, you could grab a new beta, or a demo. Unless it was barely changed from the last one.
I don't think they will totally drop PES from the title for precisely the reasons you outlined.

I think the "New Football Game " name genuinely was to distinguish it from PES and the main purpose was to test network connectivity.

I've thought for some time that tomorrow might well see the release of a revised beta with vastly improved graphics and extended controls and gameplay, together with another survey , the results of which will contrast hugely with the initial survey.

I think the new game will be essentially a PS4 game running UE4 with a PS5/Xbox One X "enhanced" version, so not really "next-gen" in my opinion (but not really any the worse for that gameplay wise).

So I'm fairly optimistic, but realise I might well end up disappointed. Either way, we'll know soon enough.

Where I'm not so upbeat is on Master League improvements, which I can't see being extensive.

If that is the case, then PS4 version could be on Fox Engine wich could also indicate that the online test had nothing to do with the New game since It was on unreal in all platforms.

I think this rumour is shit.
