When I go into offline mode in EA app, what's the recommended way to keep current rosters, should I connect online, save a squads file then load it manually when I boot the game in offline mode?

Save the profile! And if the squads are wrong you just need to load the profile again.
 
Paul, thanks as ever for these. I've been enjoying your mods for a couple years now.

I'm having an FMT prob when I try to add a second mod: I home-made a mod to make for more job offers (5 leagues) for some team-hopping career, and also to create more free agents at the lower levels of the game (to reflect what League 1 and 2 do to build teams, primarily from frees, loans, and youth) and to tweak youth and GTN scouting

I have the latest FMT. I run your career mod at the top, then my mod, then your gameplay.

My mod seems to be crashing the game and I'm not sure why. I used FMT to edit scout.ini, GTNdatareveal.csv, joboffer.ini, and playercontract.ini

If I run JUST your mods, launching and game play work fine. If I ADD my own mod, game crashes upon entering the career screen. If I play ONLY my mod, game crashes as well (so it's definitely me, it seems...). Also, my mods WORKED until this most recent title update. (I know I shoulda disabled... :P)

I repaired game, deleted cache folder, deleted moddata folder, and still no luck. Thoughts? (Or could I send you several coffees and my ini edits for you to look at?)

I tested the gameplay mode and this is absolutely fantastic! No more sprinter goals no more superhuman AI players in especially Ultimate difficulty. I played a few manager mode matches and this is game saver man.. I just notice that referees are so tend to show cards even it's not serious touch. I finally enjoyed I had many free kicks in a match but sometimes referees giving wrong decisions. Thanks for your work man, I almost gave up the play the game because of the goal fest matches..

You can use vanilla refs on the first post if you feel that there's many fouls in the game. It will return the refs to vanilla version of the game.
 
Paul I love to try different mods but I have to Say that yours Is very enjoable!
I have only One issue with shots that sometimes are too slow and lobbed without a reason.
I think it's something that also other users explaiben before .
But overall I use to play career player and It feels very good.
Do you think Is It compatible with career player mode ?
 
Hey @Paul-v.. I've been using your career mod for my saves and I love it. Is there any way to get older players, like 30+ to not decline too quickly, or push back when they start to decline? It's almost impossible to keep older players or make it worth signing say an 82 CB who's 32 because he'll be a 78 in a season.
 
alr i started using the gameplay mod. i noticed referees are so annoying. is there anything to be done on that aspect? i stg every clean tackle is a foul.

edit: just found out about vanilla refs mod, works sweet.

now a couple of notes regarding career mod. i signed two players on loan, even when they played like 80% of the games from august to december, clubs called them back because they had no game time. you guys should have seen my face when i saw that. i really don't know why, but maybe the mod feature "now it's harder to keep your players happy" has something to do with it.

I have noticed that bug. Not sure where it is coming from. Now I have made some fixes to FMT, hopefully it will resolve itself in Version 3. Yes it is compatible with all modes.

Yes this has been a problem with FIFA since about 20. Its a pretty easy fix that I haven't got around to doing. You can do it yourself by editing playergrowth.ini age/ratio for each position.

If you change RATIO_% to 1. It will never decrease. So this is the RATIO (percentage) of the POTENTIAL that it will TARGET to increase/decrease to.

Hi Paul thanks for that protip! Will you fix not being able to edit players? I want to change my YA's boots but it just crashes when using the career mod. Thank you for your work, as always.


Would this be fine then? I think im on the right file, and this way it should be more realistic? Im also not sure in which place this should be edited, since there are multiple on the playergrowth.ini that have that type of text.

Have I not released a new version that fixes that yet? Damn, been too busy with all these projects that my football mods get neglected :(

To fix that, create another project that "edits" this file:

Yes thats perfect for me. I'd recommend exporting the file, editing in notepad and importing it back in. FMT likes it more that way for some reason...

Thank you for the protips! I'll get that default .json going, but im still wondering which of the RATIO's have to be edited because there are multiple rows with them and im not sure if i apply the same values to all of them? Sorry if im not so clear 😅
 
Will the latest version of FMT & your current gameplay mod work with the latest update or do we need to wait for your updates @Paul-v ?

When I put the EA app in offline mode and then starts FMT and press launch, the EA app goes back to online mode, why is that? I don't want to do the update now.
