The 'Things That Piss Me Off' Thread

A few days ago I sold my satnav. That night I went to bed and woke up wondering why my satnav wasn't on the wall (!) next to my bed.

So I started panicking and reached down the side of my bed trying to find my "satnav" ... and pulled up some cardboard box/casing (I think it was from the inside of my DS box).

Having picked up my "satnav", I felt quite pleased with myself and put the box on the pillow next to me and rolled over, content I had my satnav, and fell asleep with a smile on my face.

That's weird, I wear a Tranmere wristband and a few days ago, there was a loop of cable down the side of the bed and I was dreaming that it was a FIFA 09 wristband. So (in real life) I put my hand through it and went back to sleep.

When I woke up and realised I had something coiled on my left hand I freaked out and nearly smashed the wardrobe to bits, I thought it was a snake. I'm not kidding you, I kicked the wardrobe door off the hinge. I nearly shat.

Adverts, film trailers and radio announcers for stations.

I hate the people who do the voice-overs and they're oh-so-cool voice. It's not fucking cool, it's annoying!

Radio - "Raaaaadio Ciiiiity Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive" all said in a supposedly cool voice.

Movie - "The best film this yeeeeaaarrrrrrrrrr"

YOU ARE NOT COOL! YOUR VOICE DOES NOT IMPRESS ME! :brick:
 
Along those lines... The voiceover style that is being done to death at the moment that was on Little Britain first - the old man who shouts and says kErAzAy random things etc, so many companies have used that style for adverts and its so annoying, Pizza Hut is one that springs to mind. Makes me want to track the old fucker down and smash is face in just for starting the trend.
 
Talking of adverts, local shitty firms who are useless with them. The worst ones are the blatant lies.

The old biddy next door who has more money than sense has just used them, and the cheeky bastards put two traffic cones at the start of her drive with a mini version of that same sign propped up against them. The bloody shame.
 
I'm very surprised a Chelsea forward didn't complete the list.

I refuse to accept Lampard is the best European midfielder. He's not even one of the best in England!

find another 20 goals a season midfielder and you may have a point

and not Kaka before you say it because he an out on out Attacking Midfielder, Frank Lampard attacks and Defends
 
Isn't Ronaldo classed as a MF? I know man utd used him up front last season a lot so maybe that wont count.

How many of lampards goals were penalties last year?

and do they give the award based on what kind of MF you are... if your a CM then you qualify but if you're only a DM you dont?

I had a discussion with Tim yesterday that I thought Ronaldo and Messi were both midfielders.

He says they're wingers, so as such he classes them as forwards.

He's wrong.
