6* cpu is more frantic & agressive. they press more effectively in defense and create & finish shot more effectively in attack but at the same time it may seem like they've done some lines of coke before the match.

5* is more toned down. slightly easier for me but feels more like a football experience.

i played 6* on we9 & we9le for years but been playing 5* for a while now.
 
I'm searching for PS3 the DLCs for the game. Even if i own it, there's no way to install DLC.
I got a jailbroken PS3, i think there's a way to "introduce" all the DLCs and rebuild the ISO with a tool from what i've read on youtube. I ddl all the dlc and the PKG to re-mount the ISO... Didn't tried yet.

But i tried a thousand time before, impossible, still got the same rosters and you can't install any DLC in the game. There's like a red cross on it. But the gameplay patch is installed : on PS3 the gameplay patch are installed automatically and weirdly, the online is functionnal, but you can't for any DLC, or even for FIFA 11, i tried to download the "latest teams/players", it gived me an error.

That's why i didn't tried yet : even games with supposed all DLC included on it from 1 to 7, won't work, i tried everything. Except the thing with the program on PKG to rebuild the ISO.

Weird as i got "WE 2014 Aoki Samurai no choosen" and DLC are already on the game, nothing to download. But as there's no compatible option file... A PES without O.F. ... It's sad. But i can make at least a J-League with that one, but nothing else.
There's no O.F. available, at least in english (perhaps in some obscure japanese forums but well... I understand some word but not at all the characters, so impossible to search)

BTW WE 2014 AOKI seems better in terms of gameplay, more polished. I got one or two weird deviations goals but nothing, at least to me, THAT gamebreaking.

PES 2014 is my guilty pleasure personnally, i prefers it even than PES 2009-10-12-13. It's my favourite with the 2011 and 2008... But about 2008 version, i didn't liked it at all at the time. Now it's different : i saw it as an HD old school gameplay PES, let's say a bit like a PES 6 HD but less assisted in defense (so not that bad, just a bit rigid in terms of animations and graphisms)

Look at the thread I created - it has all the dlc for PES2009-PES2013 on PS3 with a few exceptions. Installation instructions are included in the file share and PS3 tools & instructions if your version of PES is different to those in the file share.

WE2014 ASNC was released a few months later than the main games hence the dlc already being available without install (from memory, I think it is a hybrid of the last two DLCs for the main games).

I can check for you but I thought ASNC had an english text option in the menus? If not, I can send you some english text files to show text in english.

I’m no OF expert but there might be tools to convert PS3 OF to PC to edit and then convert back.

Just the issue with no kits, all teams to rename etc., i've found one O.F. on a forum but all links where dead so...
I tried to convert O.F. to PC for PES 2014, but for that version especially it's impossible. I got PESEDIT patch, but it's incomplete, PLA and PAS league are by defaut. Just a simple export of Liga MX and J-League, that's all i was searching for (and it was only available for PS3, all links are dead for every PES 2014 patchs)

I will take a look thanks for the advice. For those version i got all on PC, and i don't play with any version : i'm just not a fan of PS3 era, only PES 2011 and 2008 weirdly, but i got them "enhanced" on PC so.
Right now i'm back on PS2 versions (PES 2008 especially, and JL2007 are exceptionnal. PES 2014 PS2 too).

No prob for the OF conversion, it's just that without DLC installed you can't apply any option file, that's the main problem.

Apologies if I’m misunderstanding but am I correct in thinking you are wanting a patch for PES2014 PS3 that has all the kits corrected for unlicensed teams, all names of players,teams etc. corrected and JLeague and MLX overwriting PLA & PAS leagues?

I seem to remember one of the PC OF editors had a option where you could change the option file to a specific dlc version I.e. you could “downgrade” a 7.00 dlc OF to a 1.00 or whatever dlc version you are currently running.
 
Yes, i got two option files of that kind, i tried to convert it to PC and import at least the missing teams (there's J-League and MX on it) as PESEDIT patch don't have it on PC unfortunately. There's Bundesliga and 2nd divisions, but nothing replacing fakes clubs. I got at least 3 O.F. with it on PS3 still downloadable

But that's a long story, i'm not searching any more, just asked like that, don't worry. It's because i sold (more give to a relative) my PS3.
Because i remember having everything installed on it + my own retouch (J-league was made with stats from WE 2014 Aoki, i recopied all, it was a long time work lol. Faces were quickly remade but good enough)

Thanks, but i already tried that one. At least tried 4-5 versions with DLC, 2 without DLC but with PKG installing DLC (normally... But the game ask to install and you're blocked)

Even if there's the DLC on it, there's a red cross when you're going to check the game patch version on the DLC.
Or it's asking you to install, and when you install you just can't as the servers are dead.

And you can't apply any O.F. without DLC "not the same version" it said.
I told you, i tried everything lol. Only one solution i didn't tried is to insert manually EVERY Dlcs on the Iso / that i already tried with no success/ but then you got to "rebuild" the iso with a special program PKG named "DATABASE REBUILDER".

You got to download all from there


+ There's another link on the description for the datapacks 1.0 to 5.0

There's too much things to do, and i aint sure to understood all he said, it's not pretty well explained. I've given up since.
 
DLCs can be installed by transferring the files via ftp on CFW PS3.

Need to ensure that the param.sfo file for the dlc matches your title id.

If not, use the param.sfo editor (available in the mega file share).

Once everything matches, for pes2014-2018 on PS3, paste the cpk files & dpfilelist.bin in a folder called “USRDIR”, this folder and the param.sfo into another folder called “BLESXXXXX_DATAPACK” where BLESXXXXX is the title id of your game and transfer that folder into the dev_hdd0 / game directory on your CFW PS3 and I recommend rebuild database under safe mode on your PS3 (like defrag on your PC) and then it should show up.

Playing via an iso with dlc included I’ve never tried but one check to see if the dlc is available in your PS3, look under game data on the XMB, there should be an entry for the datapacks there (created by the param.sfo file I think).

If you’ve got “RPCS3” PS3 emulator on PC, do the same as above (apart from the rebuild database) and you should see the same result.

I played PES 4 Wendetta and PES 4 World Patch. I assume they don't add sound effects so crowd noise is from the original game. Stadium atmosphere is so on point with the crowd noises (not talking about this clip, talking about my overral PES 4 gameplay).

For me, RESPONSE played a +51% role in general player controlling and awareness in old PES. Was too important stat, shame it was removed. Could change from your input, up to CPU response, awareness and difficulty.

For example, as i've posted in other topic, boosting universally RESPONSE+AGILITY, makes the game more difficult defensive wise against CPU, and even the cutback pass, is 10 times more difficult to excecute against high AGILITY-RESPONSE defenders.

Response was considered as a primary ability when dribbling. I can't find an explication for removing it, except : ONLINE gameplay

Hi guys! I have a question.. Is there a way to set up a Cup in PES 6 with Home and Away group stage matches, so that each team face each other twice like in Libertadores and the Champions League? I can't seem to find this option anywhere, so when I set up a Group Stage Cup, the teams only face each other once. Anyway let me know if this can be done bros, thanks! :TU:
