But I take into consideration that PES 2014 was the first on the new generation etc. The game in general was average.

Well both were barebones. I was "lucky" enough to skip 2014 after the first week of its release, so i suffered only once.

Except for the removed features, the menu in ML, at least in PC that i play, equivalent of PS3 version, don't know if PS4 suffers the same, is a real pain in the arse. Input lag, clank menus, important features hidden under 2 or 3 submenus. Every time i start a ML save in 2015, i must get all that suffering again.

Even put some players in transfer list, and scout some players is a very wanky situation.

The only good parts i keep, the teams OPR details in the ML homescreen, the team trust stat, amd the ability set as much money as you want in transfer negotiations.

Also the presentation is superior to modern ML. Overlay graphics, fansy cutscenes, animations for every competition in its first day, even the semifake leagues or the fake PEU league, have a ln animated overlay screen the day they're starting.

Pes 15 was the first on Xbox one /PS4 that's why it was so slimmed down.
I think they could have released it on new gen back then ,but didn't

Speaking of 2014, my personal thought is, they HAD TO release it in newgen consoles, cause i find the ps3 gen, limited a lot that game's potential. Even the menu navigation is a real torture in PC, sometimes is like 100ms ping in input lag.

Does the next-gen 2015 on Xbox have any input lag in menu, cause my oldgen in PC does have a little bit, less than 2014 to be fair.

I don't agree with you here.

Even PES 2011-2013 stats are the same as PES5-6. The players Att/ Def numbers replaced the defense arrows in the tactical instructions on PES 5-2009 games, and on PES 2010 there was a possibility to change the Att/ Def of each player like it was on Previous PES . (btw I don't understand (again) why they removed them)

I don't see any special card which replaced the consistency attributes (and also Teamwork)

And i don't see any Consistency in O.F. Editor / Database. I just said they removed it, that's all.

No proof of existence of that stats on 2010 to 2013, cards or whatever mate. Perhaps it was too hard to rate, like Mentality, or like when that stat was on 99 in PES 2 and then, they reduced it to 8 on PES 3.

Nope ,no input lag whatsoever ,very smooth.
Yes the 2014 is a pain in the ass ,especially since there's more or less a mouse your controlling in the menus ,instead of up/down and LB/RB to scroll

Yeah the cycle 2016~2020 was a stable one. We mostly recycled menus going from vertical to horizontal and vice versa,and some meaningless additions or small removals, etc.

At least they improved a little bit the transfers and the training system,not something critical, but at least, we were sent back in stone age and we went again to medieval age.

Training system still light years back, in comparison to PS3 golden era, for Master League..

Maybe eFootball will address all those issuehahahhahhhhah, i am kidding.

PES is deadn, and ML is also dead possibly.

Do you guys know of an effective way to miss penalties on PES 5? It’s crazy how often the ref gives soft pens in my favour. Sometimes it ruins really good matches. It’d be helpful if I could just miss them on purpose but even if I take them with my keeper they seem to nearly always go in.

Hi bros! Long time no post!

Anyway just in case any of you can help me find this, I'm looking for an Asian Leagues Patch for any retro PES PC (preferably PES 5, 6, 2011, or 2017). I found an Asian league patch for 2017 but it was discontinued and is far from complete. Ideally, I would like this patch to have J-League, K-League, and Chinese league at least, amongst others.. If any of you know of one, no matter how obscure, please let me know.

It will be hard to found Asian league Patch without writing in Japanese/Chinese/Korean language

But option files, there's several on Kronos compilation especially for PES 6 (Iran, Japan, Chinese, i checked but no Korea unfortunately)

Thanks man, will look into these! I already downloaded Kronos collection, in fact, I am playing a League/FA Cup story in my ML thread with an invented third division English team, third division was included in Kronos! But will keep looking into the ones you mentioned.. Awesome.

I will try the belgian league btw lol. If that our version, i will recognise it.
But we make it for us, to play a league, not to share so it was a bit rushed, perhaps not up to date totally.
And stats were made with VERTER Grinster lol, with some + and - regarding jumping/balance/header.

As the converter was far from perfect as it didn't took every stats in account... The winner of the league was RAEC Mons
For that league, we could select one "superstar" from the past like Maradona etc.

Well it was the only team i supported, and and the best player from our league(s) won the it so... We made leagues from PES 1 to PES 6 including Japanese version. More or less 14-16 league in a total of 6 years. Some games like PES 5 didn't got a "Final Evolution" so... 2 teams each others, one weak and one strong. From WE7 we started to made transfers between us, and points relative to Master league.

The winner could choose his next team. Matchs were 5 minutes lol, all attack. No choice we were too much. One season we were 10 to play.

I think somebody mentioned on here that the teams in slots 1 and 2 of each league (when creating a new ML) automatically go through to the Final European Cup Group Stage, and the next 2 or 4 go into the qualifying stages.

I changed the name of mine to Champions League so I can’t remember what the official cup is called, something like WEFA.

Sorry can’t help, but it’s the WEFA Championships. The UEFA/Europa is called WEFA Masters Cup I think. Interestingly, I’ve never competed in that competition in nearly 20 years of playing PES ML. The only way is to get knocked out of the qualifying groups I suppose.

I really didn't plan to make more Option Files after Laziale 2021, I didn't think I would feel like it but in the end the passion to edit and finish it got the best of me.

Now I am inserting kits and faces to the ISO of Pes 2008 (PS2), to adapt it with my OF Classic Laziale. In this case there is no rush to finish it, although in a few weeks I have made a lot of progress.

What is that tool to assign faces and hairstyles? At the moment I only use photoshop for kits and faces, I haven't touched on the subject of hairstyles yet.

Do you guys find 5 or 6 star difficulty harder on the PS2 games? What are the main AI differences between the two?

I'm on PC, but I have recently bumped up the difficulty and I find Top Player/5 Star difficulty more challenging but also less difficult, in many ways? It's become the perfect level for me, as I think it balances the difficulty on both ends, but I don't find the AI too overpowered when they attack and get better variety in my final scorelines in either directions. This is for both PES 5 and 6 and might entirely be a placebo, but I have found 5 star to be more enjoyable experience.
