Thanks @H_G , but like I was saying, i am referring to Edit Mode. When i am editing the team there are no form arrows so all players will be according to their stats.

I havent worked out the Overall score, like you said it could be that. ;)

What is the consistency total for them both out of interest?

Also it would be interesting to see if you swapped their played id's over and see if the same thing happens.


Looking at PES5 guide and the keeper's essential stats (DEF, BAL, RES, GK) Loris still comes out on top 356 total to 348 and even with beneficial stats added although it gets closer he still has a total of 383 to 381. So I could certainly see why with form arrows the AI could drop him but as you say in the edit screen, why?

The only stat on the essential stats that Loris loses out on by a bit is BAL 83-91. Might be interesting to make them both 83 and see if it still happens.

On a side note @Ciais made a brilliant find in PES5/WE9 and made a kitserver add on where you can alter the form arrows. I've always thought the up/down arrows are too high a % adjustment and make the Ai change the team way too much. So with that you can make a diagonal arrow the highest/lowest awarded by the AI - or whatever you like.
 
Guys, are there any eng patch for we9le that has the original ML players name ? or any patch of worth for that matter ?

Edit: Got the geezer patch but the games having trouble with resolution and cant play on win 7 despite compatibility mode.

Does that mean that you have one but it has changed ML defaults players? If so you could use @marqisspes6 PES5WE9 tool to get the original ML players back from an original OF
 
Guys, can we adapt adboards (512x256p) with 12 or 7 textures from PES6 to PES5/WE9LEK? Currently we have strange issue with 1st texture on the left side of the field. Unfortunately, "ADBoard Editor" (from DkZ Studio) doesn't allow to open it. Note: I mean stadiums with default PES5 structure.

@vialli82 I have been doing more editing today and just checked a ML and this is what I hate.

So I changed him to the default player which I worked out to be a French player called Sebastien Grax. So he is in the file now at 37 years of age, but at least he is a normal value.


So after making a few changes, normal service has resumed. :D

Actually if you notice the top player in that image is Keith Gillespie, he is another player that was 5000 when I edited over him so I had to change him to default too.


It is a pain that these 5000 players turn up even when the shop is not unlocked but it is fewer than it would be otherwise. ;)
As i said there's not that on PES 5 : LUX transferred to River Plate got 617 point, Palermo not that much (around 750-800 etc.
I played ML on PES 2, WE7I, WE9, not on PES5 a very long time ago so i never noticed that.

But in counterpart, one big annoying stuff about PES 5 ML, i got no idea if it's the same for the next versions. I'll explain :

You can't check players who aren't participate to ML. So you lost practically more than 25-30 teams players in the database to buy.
I never put full Eredivisie on my previous ML, but they got tons of good players to sign. Now i discovered it's impossible on PES 5.

As they changed it since PES 6-2008? Can you buy players who aren't on any teams you selected? Because sincerely, when i saw that, i just wanted to stop my project and start on another PES allowing all players to be transferred.

But whatever, i already worked a lot on it, i can't stop it. I'll do what i want...

And to be honest, with the recoil : i prefers PES 2008 and JL2007CC gameplay. One thing i'm not a fan in PES 5 is the automatic "push on the side with your foot" ball to avoid an adversary with ➡️ then ⬇️ or ⬆️ if you know what i mean. It's the only you got it. I know it's an easy move to IRL, but i want to be free to do it or not. If you do that on another game, you got another animation, slowing down, i prefers it.


about PES 2014 it's pretty different so it's hard to compare. Especially needs to check the ball physics in long pass, shoots etc. but passing is slower, overall speed is more realistic...

Uhhm what? I got all the teamless players as free agents in the "others" section or whatever it's called in english, at least in pc version. When you start a brand new ML they are also grouped by their absent team. Looks like this:

unless I misunderstood your problem :)? Maybe you are talking about another version?
 
Wanting to lean how to use perfectly the Super Cancel.

I tried it on PES 2012, and I don't know if it's my fault or it's a bug

Actually, I can use it to change the rail, but it doesn't work for a shot or a cross. The player shoot the ball as a R1 + shoot button.

On PES 2016, I don't have this problem.

Anyone had the same issue on PES 2012 ?
So, now I'm pretty sure it was a bug (I think it's the same on PES 2011) @millossobek do you have this problem on PES 2013 ?

It seems that the Super cancel had a bug with the new power bar back in 2011- 2012.

It works on PES5 and PES 2009.

But on 2012, the combination of
Rectangle + R1 R2 doesn't works fluidly compared. Same for O + R1 R2. Same for rectangle + X

I searched if anyone reported this bug on the official thread of PES 2012, but no one did. Strange.

Yes mate defaults are in the game as well as "others" if you start with a real team. You'll have to edit them as well I guess :)
 
No prob, will try to make a team with all players hidden in the database, removed players to make them fit with the profile/nationality.
But at the end, so you can choose between the ML Default and the ML Hidden.
There's also some ML Youth i saw i got to replace, but for both versions.

I think you have missed completelly the concept.Those players do exist either way, and start spawning as youngsters ot free agents, after the first season. They are fictional,and exist to add some variation to the game, and not be luke the modern PES that recycle the same licensed players.

Those players were the answer of KONAMI to the lack of the ability to create randomised regens, like FIFA and FM.

I think it's a fairly reasonable way of doing it, after all nobody knows tomorrow's stars. Would have been nice if they were perhaps randomised regarding what position and stats they have.
I agree mate. IMHO since they can't create endless randomised regens, to a stable endless ML database, they should keep this and expand the list with more player, in the future seasons.IE you don't like to have a 16yo Ibrahimovic looking like 40. Have your randomised Postma or Hoogma, or Zarate (the PES one, not the original one).

One way or another,very few people keep playing after 5 seasons usually, so it would keep everyone happy, both those like the OG regens and those that want randomised regenes.

In short terms, what i say: For the first 5 seasons keep the current regens system. after 5th system, start generating generic ML youths, together with the OG regens.

So you can build a team of Ibrahivovic 16yo, or Ettoris and Palmieris, of both of them!!

I'm updating an option file for PES2014 for Ps2 ...i was wondering if will be possible a "massive" update of player team stats or i should need to update stats from PSDatabase of every single player (with copy and paste in Pes_editor).

Thanks @slamsoze ... Now i get it better. And their names aren't that weird.
But well, i don't really care in fact, as long as they don't have "weird" stats like ML Defaults players with 90 in speed and 65 in acceleration etc. (didn't checked in PES 5, but it was the case)

So after reflection, those young aren't a bad thing. Well, as it's a 16 years old game and we're "in the future", we could choose 180 players who got 18 years old on 2006 (so +- 32-33 now) to replace them easily, but it's way too much work. It's okay like that.

It seems their stats are alright, fits with the rest of the database.
Whatever, Except on PES 2 which i've made at least 10-15 season, i never play more than 5 seasons on ML on Div 1.
Always wants to switch to another team and league after a moment.

I'm updating an option file for PES2014 for Ps2 ...i was wondering if will be possible a "massive" update of player team stats or i should need to update stats from PSDatabase of every single player (with copy and paste in Pes_editor).

The 3DS version of WE2014 Aoki samurai got Summer transfers right, like DLC 2.0 for the PC/PS3.
It was my next project lol. You can check the missing players from the 3DS emulator called "Citra" + the game.

Edit: The PSP version of WE2014 Aoki got winter transfers, like the latest PES 2014 DLC but no J-League : National Teams instead of it. Depends what you really want to do. Personnally i prefers database with summer transfers, but with Summer Transfers it's not that bad : it's like you will start a season from July and transfers to do, change the history (except the year's is -1 and, but who cares, only not having promoted teams could be annoying, well i don't care neither as PES old school don't have D2 so you're stick with the 20 teams purposed ;) ).

Stats are the same as on the good old PES 4-6, with Attack/Defense/Accel/Agility/Shot Technique etc.
Probably some special skills in more (like on PES 2014, and i think since PES 2008 : they added new "skills stars")
You can took the players to add from that version and recopy them ;)

Bro, sorry for the late reply.. I haven't played PES 2013 since my ML story.. I found it to be a little bit too offensively geared towards counterattacks. :LOL:

But if I remember correctly.. The super cancel worked well.. R1 + R2 + left analog stick to selected player.. as detailed in this video:

Can you run the game in Citra dude? I only can hardly Pokémon games there, and still keep stable fps only in battle and small environments.

Also another pain of me, i have a Switch, a 3DS and a New2DS XL, and there is nothing ISS/PES/WE related in Nintendo Shops since always.

Even if i hunt for PES physical cartridges,they are both too rare to find, and even those found on eBay or Amazon, are usually overpriced, cause everyone things is a wannabe scalper in our days.

No i'm not talking about R1 R2 + Left Analog. But Square+ R1 R2 / Circle + R1 R2

Cuz this two combination do'n't work all the time on PES11 /12

I didnt change their player ID because Lloris is ‘A’ and Gollini is ‘-‘ and i want to keep it that way ;)

It’s good that the 5000 thing doesnt happen in 5 and 6 because it can be a bit of a pain.

What annoys me is that I don’t know what triggers it.

For example when i find a 5000 player, i change him to the default player, then change his name to full name lower case, then change his age to what he would be today, then reduce Top Speed, Dribble Speed etc… like i do for all players, and finally i reduce his waist to -1 and untuck his shirt as most players play like that :LOL:

The point is that after editing those things he is fine but if i change him completely then he goes up to 5000 again. Something is triggering it but don’t know what.

I remember, not sure for PES 5, but PES 6 for sure, when i was still creating myself and my friends, by CREATE A PLAYER, until to a limit, i think it was some type of overall, they costed 5.000 points in ML. After reducing a lot stats, they used to go to lower points, but it was very rigid, IE it did not go from 5,000 to 4,500. From a sensitive limit and after, it used to go from 5,000 to 1,280 or 1,650, etc, etc....

I recall, i never mastered how it used to work to the 100% extened, while searching the defining factor that lifted points from 1Ks or early 2Ks to straight 5,000, but once i hit the 1Ks, i used to stop there! :)

Are their ML salaries close? Just wondering if they are seeing as the AI is hell bent on playing Gallini and whether his salary is higher.

The 5000 very much happens in 5 & 6 as @slamsoze says! Maybe I am imagining it but did we have this conversation in here before and changing them to a goalkeeper dropped the 5000? I remember trying all sorts of things and some worked, some didn't. Changing ID often worked too but I could never find any key reason why some things worked and others didn't.

It is so strange because when i first noticed it a few years ago, i thought i could just make that 5000 player Messi or Ronaldo. But then their value went right down. The reason was to do with their skill stars, i think if they had 5 or more then the price would drop.

Matt i remember our conversation now, in the past i used to still use that 5000 player but give him 5 skill stars (to bring price down) but it would be very unrealistic to have an average outfield player with all those skills, Middle Shooting, Dribbling etc. So instead i only used them for Goalkeepers because even if they had those skills they would not use them because they stayed in goal. ;)

Why oh why Konami? 😩

Yeah, i remember having so many slodown in the past (like 5 years ago) i trough it was impossible to emulate.
But it's running smooth. Well, as long as it's running well on Edit mode, that's all matters lol.
3DS needs to be played on the original hardware. It was just to check the database in fact, and by curiosity.
As i saw the release date was between PSP and PS2.
Is 3DS running japanese game? I don't know if portable consoles have region lock.

About the "5000" points, i didn't tried with let's say real legends players : it was players on the PES SHOP who still play or got the corresponding age.
I have no idea if i try to transfers i don't know, Ravanelli, Dalglish or Valderamma who got the same age when they won something or whatever.
Needs to test... Ain't sure.
But about PES 2008 and PES 6, you don't need fakes players to complete teams if you create Bundes or whatever else on "Others C", Bundes got tons of players in game and you can have all free players you want/need by removing all, for example, the one from Bayern or Hamburg...

It's kinda harder with PES 5 or older PES. I don't know for example : imagine that Schweinsteiger, on PES 2008, is on PES SHOP, will he cost 5000 points or not? If not, it's because he's took in consideration not as a "Legend" just a "Free good player" with the ID corresponding.
