It's a good line up, but not great. There isn't a game that comes close to the likes of Zelda Twilight Princess in that entire list from what I can see.

I think that's a pretty great line-up with plenty of depth. But, honestly, there's nothing on that list that I want. :eh:

Digital(HDMI) vs Analog(Component).........a difference you wont even be able to notice with the naked eye in all honesty.......well, at least with the current resolutions we use.
Unless you have an amp capable to decode the HD Audio tracks, but thats another story...

Once VF5 drops I'm sure the sales in Japan will go up significantly. Its PS3 exclusive for Japan and the game has enough of a following over there for it to make a big impact.

Yeh that game is gonna be huge. Ive already preordered mine for the Feb 6th release. Cant wait to see it moving. It should take the crown of best looking console game.
Personally Ive never liked VF games as theyre far too difficult to master. You really have to spend many months getting used to it. It'll be the first version that I'm gonna give a lot of time to.

Theres defo no preorders started at my store as yet mate. You sure Virgin are taking them already? They shouldnt be.
Whats bad is that Virgin might do a 'first come first serve' scheme rather than preorders. Personally I can see it turning into chaos. I say fuck it, put everyone in an arena and let 'em fight for it

Wow thats $833.276 compared to $599.99 over here in America.
One of the reasons i am glad i left the UK, us brits just get exploited for example you guys pay $7 for a gallon of gas at the pump we pay $2 right now.

It only works out that much because the dollar is so weak agaimst the pound.
When Sony announced the price it worked out alot less.
I got my US one & am happy with it. Especially as Sony have sorted the PS2 games
Well got my name on the list at my local GAME store ant no. 17. Thinking of trading in my 360 as they'll both be pretty similar in terms of games and power except PS3 with the advantage of blue-ray and more importantly for me the Dual-Shock controller for me will be more than wellcome back!
There's no dual shock controller for the PS3 mate (sorry to burst your bubble), its called the "sixaxis" a.k.a wii.s.3 controller if you know what i mean. But having said that, i can see rumble equiped ps3 pads from third party companies somewhere down the line, which is a good thing, well for me personally.

Six Axis to be more precise and Sony were in trouble over the motors used in their previous Dual Shocks. Some sort of Law Suit was taken out against them.

someone on these boards said something to the effect that when the PS2 first came out, the games weren't all that much of a jump from PSone games. i feel that was true, and history can repeat itself.

Presumably to make it a more attractive option for buyers in Japan. Yet it's us europeans getting the short straw again - I'll presume that the profit they make from us will make up for the losses they make from the price cuts in Japan
