Sony PlayStation 3

It'll be the one that's using the new chipset, been talked about for a while. I think Lami mentioned it to me a good few months ago.
 
Think about your carbon footprint ;)) It uses less energy so it'll save on electricity ;))

PixelJunk Monsters is an awesome game and a really cheap price too!

£3.49 for the main chunk of the game and if you want the 'encore' expansion it's an extra £1.99 i think.

You basically have a hut with little things in front of and surrounding you are loads of trees. you can then set up and build watch towers on these trees to protect the little things at the hut. The ultimate goal is to perfect the level without losing any of the little guys... which is very hard.

Played the free version (Tower Defence) on the PC a while ago. It's okay but not worth all the hype it gets.

Still, £3.49 isn't much to ask for.

Yeah the plinky music is annoying but the update coming soon adds custom music (as shown in the 2.40 videos)

I love games where i can set up defences and then watch the enemy get destroyed - that's my style of play for all RTS games, especially C&C. The problem im finding more and more these days though it devs are making games so you can't sit back and camp with defences :(

Shitty way of adding funds to PSN or XBL. I was gonna buy PixelJunk Monsters and the COD4 maps but they cost £10.50. I should be able to just deduct that amount from my card, but no, I have to transfer a minimum of £15 to my account :ROLL:
 
It's definitely one of the more annoying aspects of the store.

Didn't realise it was the same on XBL though, never bought anything off it when I had a 360.
 
I just tried to download a video from gametrailers but im just getting a 'you need to upgrade your flash player'

Can i do this myself or am i forced into waiting for sony to update in the next firmware?

First time I played it was with my girlfriend so not sure how different it'll be in single-player.

Funny because I thought she'd like the game, showed her a trailer and she couldn't have been less interested. Bought the game and shoved the pad into her hand and said she needs to play it in co-op.

Half an hour later and she loved it :DD

What do you think of it?

I've just picked up the expansion pack and i have 1 easy level to do and boy they're tough. I've picked up what kills which monster the best now so its a bit easier but some levels i take one look at and that's me done.

I'm stuck on medium on the original island as well... cant remember which one it is but its the bottom right group of 4... the top left of those i cant do... yet.

Seems trophy support might be coming for the game as well so more people will be picking this up no doubt.

we are definitely considering a patch for this and including trophy support amongst other things.
