Yep, 100% agree, even comparing current-gen games (and I've been told the same by one of the WENB boys, PES feels right on the PS3, FIFA feels right on the 360).
 
if you're only interested in fifa/pes then you may as well get the 360.

But it has a tendency to break down so you'll end up without the 360 for a few weeks if it does. Mine kept breaking down if i had it turned on for a few hours - it would just turn itself off or the games would lock up.


the PS3 seems great and from around now onwards all the best games are on both consoles (not including games like halo/MGS) - online is free and its not as likely to break down on you.

if you have the money to blow then id say ps3 because its going to last you and devs should start to crack open the huge blu-ray goodness from around the new year onwards.

i went from 360 to ps3... and knowing what i know now about both consoles i couldn't go back to the 360
 
Acting as though rumble is a brand-new, exciting feature -- as opposed to a "last gen" one -- Sony Computer Entertainment's President and Group COO Kaz Hirai revealed the Dual Shock 3 to the world during his Tokyo Game Show keynote in Japan today. Scheduled for a fall release in Japan, Dual Shock 3 isn't scheduled for a release in Europe or the US until Spring 2008. Why? We have no idea.

"With rumble and Sixaxis it's actually more fun," he says, mentioning the feature came back due to user demand -- not anything related to the Immersion lawsuit, wink wink.

Dual Shock 3s will be available on the show floor and compatible with a number of titles, including Warhawk, which was released earlier this month on PlayStation 3. Games on the show floor with rumble include Burnout Paradise, Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Online, Toy Home (PSN), EchoChrome (PSN), Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and others.

That is good that Sony are releasing a patch, as Nick said, Motorstorm with Rumble will add a whole new aspect to the game. Any reports on how much heavier the DS3 is than the SIXAXIS.
 
just saw preview from codemasters racingsimulation "racing driver one",and i must say the grafics look amazing on the pics i saw.
you get to set up your own racingteam,races in america,europe and japan.
beside the dtm races there is the new "urban street racing",racing on a streetcircuit,like project gotham or gran turismo.
with the ds3 on its way,its going to be even better.
 
I bought Warhawk today, too bad I don't actually have a PS3 yet :lol:
 
Should be getting a PS3 next week so I figured why not.
 
i read somewhere that the dualshock 3 uses the same vibrating tech as the dualshock 2 instead of the new stuff from immersion. if thats the case i wont be gettin the dualshock 3...
yet.

Next year the PS3 will get a decent lot of games, but for now, you money will go further on a XB, i.e. more games and most at lower prices than there PS3 counterparts of the same game.

Depesser, i saw those screns too (OPM???) ans yes they are stunning.
This is the former DTM or TOCA racing game by Codemasters for nextgen consoles...this will be thbest racing game for PS3 (don't knowabout Forza), miles better than Gran Turismo i think...
 
Naz I was meaning the likes of Rainbow, GRAW, Oblivion etc, all out ages ago on the 360 and can be picked up much cheaper than the PS3 versions.

I also suggested he go and have a look at the exclusive games on each system and decide which serves his purpose better, the PS3 has some decent exclusives this year yes, but I have never played a Ratchet and Clank game, tis not my genre; so that doesnt appeal to me.

I like the look of Heavenly Sword, but its not enough to warrant a purchase of the console to play that game. Lair the same, though it has had much more varied reviews too.

The simple way is, you have a budget on how much you want to spend, you look at the consoles Games Library and also a look at what is coming next for the machine. You then decide which you want, you pays your money, you makes your choice. I wasnt pushing the XB360 on them, I was just trying to provide information.

Yes Radiation. GT5 Prologue is an exclusive.
 
Should be getting a PS3 in 2 weeks :D I was gonna get a 360 because its cheaper but i've added up the cost of accessories im gonna need like Wi-Fi adapter, Charge & Play USB, XBox Live Superscription etc... and it will cost only around £20 less than the PS3 all together.

Can anyone recommend good sites/shops that do PS3 deals for cheap?

eBay have a few going for around £350 inc. delivery, but im not sure if i should risk it.

GAME have a good deal, £424.99

I got mine from GAME, PS3, extra pad, motorstorm, resistance + talledega nights n casino royale on Blu Ray = £425. I also bought a BD remote and Heavenly Sword and I got Warhawk last week.

I want to get a PS3, but X-Box Live is tempting though :( Most of my friends have 360's, and i've read Live is FAR superior to PSN.

HELLLLP, i can't decide :shock:
