Serie A Thread - 2014/15 Season

Re: "Serie A" Thread

Trezeguet is a legend in Juventus...

I have a question, could someone post me the usual line-up of Atalanta Bergamo???

Re: "Serie A" Thread

Gk-Calderoni
RB-Adriano
CB-Rivalta, Loria
LB-Ariatti
RM-Migliaccio
CM-Bernardini, Marcolini
LM-Lazzari (Huge talent)
ST-Ventola/Defendi, Zampagna

Quite alot of Serie A players.

Re: "Serie A" Thread

Thank you very much Milanista, you're a nice guy...

I knew they had one huge talent..

PS: I'm playing Football Manager with Atalanta on PSP (but Lazzari is injured i'm afraid, and this already for the second time in te beginning of the season...only 4 matches played).

Re: "Serie A" Thread

I got FM on PSP too... and I find injuries are too common. I'm using Hamburg by the way... and Ive already got 3 starters injured after 2 season games.

Re: "Serie A" Thread

Yeah injuries seem rather common Milanista, but i found out that if you change your training schedules a litle bit (less physical) you have less injuries...it even says so in the manual...maybe you should try that...(none of the injuries i had were in matches, always in training).

All in all i like Football Manager on PSP very much...

I'm currently fifth after four matches with Atalanta: two draws and two victories...

Re: "Serie A" Thread

C'mon milan you can do it !!3 points it is nothing!!what is the schedule for the both juve and Milan??

Re: "Serie A" Thread

When are the fixtures out for next season (I know they have to sort out some relegation questions on the 4 teams), but is there a date for the fixtures released.

Also if any of those 4 (Juve, Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina) go down, who will come up ?? More from Serie B or the old relegated ones from Serie A (Lecce, Messina etc) ??

Also can anyone explain what Bazzani's wife said a few years ago on TV which upset him ?

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

The Italian Football League have confirmed that the new Serie A season will now kick off on September 10.

The fresh campaign was originally scheduled to start on August 27, but that date has been deemed as unrealistic given another summer of controversy in Italian football.

Due to the various appeals with regard to the initial Calciopoli sentences and the threat of another tribunal hearing involving more clubs, the new season’s start date has been delayed by two weeks.

Serie A will start on September 10 and come to a conclusion on May 27, 2007. Serie B will begin on September 9 and end on June 10, 2007.

There will be four midweek fixtures in the First Division and four Sunday breaks in the schedule as a result of international commitments and Christmas.

The Coppa Italia will kick-off on August 19, with the two legged Finals set for April 18 and May 9, 2007.

The Italian Super Cup Final between newly crowned Italian champions Inter and Roma, last season’s Coppa runners-up, will be played on August 26.

Serie A
Starts: September 10, 2006
Ends: May 27, 2007

Midweek games:
Wednesday September 20, 2006
Wednesday October 25, 2006
Wednesday December 20, 2006
Wednesday February 28, 2007

Rest days:
Sunday October 8, 2006
Sunday December 31, 2006
Sunday January 7, 2007
Sunday March 25, 2007

Serie B
Starts: September 9, 2006
Ends: June 10, 2007

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Thanks Milanista.
Isn't Lazzari considered a great young player, strange that he went to Cesena...
Uptil now i don't think Atalanta have done very good transfers. I'm afraid they face a difficult year...

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Another question by somebody who is becoming a fan of Italian football.
In the transfer threads i noticed quite a lot of adversity against Internazionale.
What's wrong with them???
The fact that they seem the club most advantaged by the (very light) sentences in the Moggipoli scandal cannot be the reason since Inter did not cheat (or am i naïve???)...
Why????

PS: i quite like them...

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Stan, the people who are making fun of or are against Inter are either angry rivals (like me and many Milan fans), or bitter Juve fans who feel robbed by Inter. Inter has also become the laughing stock of Serie A in the last 10 years as they have always disappointed even after signing the best players every summer.

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Yes Milanista, but that could be because they are the only big team who did not cheat...in that case i see no reason to consider them as laughing stock...(once again i think i'm not very realistic).

Anyway, thanks for answering...

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Even if they didnt cheat, I dont think they deserve the titles. They played poorly and have rarely impressed. Infact, a few days ago Juve and Napoli (Both in Serie B), beat Inter 1-0.

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Inter's starstudded team also drew against Watford about a week ago..

Inter getting the 05/06 scudetto is ridiculous, it should've been awarded to noone.

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Nice, just found out Seria A starts on my birthday :)

Re: "Serie A" Thread - KO Sept 10th

Thanks Milanista.

Now. Can some tell me who are going to be the favourites to get promoted to (excluding Juve)?

And also which teams in Serie B (excluding Juve) has the strongest squad?
