if true, i'm prepeared to waste some time/money trying to get a PC copy set up as i agree exhibition mode is quality be it on console or PC and if that can be replicated in ML - well there is your game for 2019.

Gotta say - admire dedication.
I wouldnt even consider getting another version or pc or ps4 or whatever for one game. If game dont deliver on one platform they are lucky enough that they got few quid from me.
As much as I was happy with improved communication and patch, which was focused on offline players, now every day Im getting more annoyed with them.
EA released their package a month later and already got 4 major patches.
This crowd has their game on the market since August and its not even the package that was promised for people.
Thankfully now Im full on cowboy so I dont care that much. But im watching both of their progress on twitter and its night and day. Konami is just posting stupid clips, which are not even good quality clips. Zero updates, zero news. Its pointless to even follow their page.

i get you but i'm bringing in my own knowledge and experience to the game this year having bought copies of PES on XB1,360,PS4 and PC.

PES 2019 has fire in its belly - you can see this in exhibition mode - but its badly let down by other modes.

I have faith in the modding community - my gripe with PC PES is that I cannot take it wholly offline. But if someone says they're playing ML as if they're playing exhibition - i'm all ears. i just need some more people to back this view up cos for all i know that guy probably just took a load of drugs before he posted.
 
I believe a good indicator for next years game will be how they announce the features, if you hear Bhatti and co getting excited with faces, snow, and 4K and doesn’t say anything about new features in ML aside from player traits then you know for a fact that we will get the same gameplay underlying issues and the same boring outdated master league. You know ML is crap when Adam and asim don’t post ML in there twitter accounts to promote the game, Adam did one from what I recall and that was when he signed Neymar, haven’t seen another screenshot since, he knows ML is rubbish and couldn’t force himself to play more. It’s gonna be the same shit again next year very confident about that, it’s also funny how Adam says konami has to listen to everyone, the thing is Konami doesn’t, konami doesn’t listen to the ML offline fans, which forced me to play NBA2k, knew nothing about basketball but the more I played and understood the game, the individuality is in a league on its own, no other game comes close, been playing it for a few months so far, ended up getting 12 guys I met online and have an online league with fixtures and times, unbelievable stuff, won’t see this online league structure happening in pes in my lifetime.

It's all done by tweaking values inside the dt18 file. You can check the thread in the editing forum. Even just increasing the physicality results to random situations. I'll try to upload some videos. In my last game against PSG there were 18 fouls in total and they only had 81% pass completion. Needless to say if anyone chooses to play in English Championship

This is my experience with the game. I'm not posting to convince anyone, I'm having great fun in ML with the settings/mod I posted earlier. TTB is also having a good time with his ML and if you check his videos you will rarely see scripting kicking in. I think he's not used yet the latest gameplay mod.

Please, can I use these modded dt18 files with latest konami patch?
Also to add from my side: playing PES using dta18 modded files is really changing game to better. Completely new experience. Just need to find one that fit best to you. Also, sometimes it can be placebo effect, but not always.

I don't play ML. I only play exhibition SS.
The players you mentioned destroys people on higher difficulty because they're in front, fast, high offensive awareness and has good finishing, not because of player ID.
Did they beat you by skill dribbling or just from the usual low cross, usual 1-2 passes, usual through-ball or the usual shooting hard from outside edge of the box which any high-rated players on higher difficulty do a lot?

hopefully konami will be reading these threads, download the files and then include in their patch - kind of thing they would do. Why waste time when someone in the community do the mods for you and the feedback is already there on forums on how good it is

I think the claims that it's creating a whole new game, or that it reveals the "true" game underneath are exaggerated. There is a noticeable change, yes, mainly it feels like physicality is playing a bigger role and consequently the number of jostles and fouls is increased (which also means that the flow of the game is interrupted more often).

I've also had a few matches early in my ML season where it felt "looser", less rigid, and where you saw the COM do things that you hadn't seen before. But it's all very inconsistent and random (random not in more randomness in the game – which would be a good thing – but random matches which "feel" more organic). Most of the times the COM still does the same old stuff it did under the default files. "Cheating" is also still there, but I don't believe you can change this by manipulating this specific file because it is subject to TV and adaptive AI.

That said, I admire incas36's perseverance and encourage his further research. Maybe one day he's going to crack Konami's weird logic and we'll have the game we are all waiting for.

Here we are with the usual cycle. Already thinking about the announcement of the next Pes, it's depressing that a game that should last at least 7-8 months leaves fans already expecting for the next one after 3 months, it absolutely lacks longevity.

Anyway i don't think the way they will announce the game will give us hints. Announcements have always been promising and exciting, then more they unveiled closer to the release date, more we understood the game was going to be the usual Pes with some tweaks to modes and gameplay, while it really needs a total revamp, especially in modes, but also in gameplay. Gameplay innovations are more and more lacking even compared to Fifa, with EA developers finally trying to reach out to hardcore fans for a much more balanced gameplay.

Soon enough, if they don't react, even gameplay won't be best on Pes, the "Pitch is ours" motto is looking more and more silly when you consider the last few years we had no real improvement over what we had since Pes 2015.
In my case i already managed to overcome the first obstacle, i managed to not fall for the usual hype and i can safely say this year i won't buy Pes at all, not even at 5€.

Next year, let's see.

My policy looks similar. I read evo-web modding section choose the best one and send to offcialpes twitter account. I do it for 3 years...If they listen me, Pes looks like superb package game but...

i'm pretty sure i understand...having played exhibition mode Spurs vs Arsenal in 2019, I immediately felt the difference between exhibition vs any other mode. CPU made mistakes, good flow, no feeling of script.

What it sounds like in ML is that I could play Spurs vs any 4-5 star team and each may feel good and loose/free but after say 5 games in a row they all feel the "same" and whilst top rated players play better there are not any signature traits that stand out when playing against them.

I think this is what I am concluding.

We're only 4 months away from that first "mysterious" teasing Tweet from Bhatti that'll go something like: "When you see it... The future looks bright! #PES2020".
 
I think I am the only one liking the ML on PS4. I have now dropped a level to curb the BS and play on regular difficulty. (I only get to play maybe 6 hours per week and 3 of that is on a monday night) I may knock it up to professional for away matches to give it more of a challenge. I am glad i stopped pretending to be 20 again and all the time in the world to master the harder difficulties.

Same on the UFC3 game - think i am on easy mode --battered my first 4 opponents then in my second UFC signed fight got sparked out in second round :) (off topic)

Do you recon he'll be allowed or brave enough after this years false advertising bashing? Since then he is keeping low profile, big time

I do.
We don't even know the percentage of people that have either complained or felt 'affected' by the false advertisement.
For all we know, it's just us. Maybe 50 nutjobs complaining about the misleading trailer and incorrect tweets or live streams talking about: Dynamic Lighting, Graphics package for Licensed leagues with specific scoreboards, New menus/UI, etc.

So unless there was a big hit that translated in sales and assuming they actually know this is the real reason why sales went down (which I don't think it is), then they'll probably keep behaving as an indie company.

Ah no. Im with you. I stopped expecting miracles and just take the game for what it is and i somewhat enjoy my ML with Wolves.
I dont like to play exhibition - its pointless.
There is a chance for gameplay to be polished throughout the year, same as they did with 18, which at the end was quite enjoyable. If not - whateva.
One way or another ill get my money worth from the hours i play it.
And next year ill be happy enough to skip it alltogether.

And I also started dropping down difficulties in games in order to just sit, relax and not break my fingers.
On Pes its Professional when im on manual. Otherwise its just frustrating. And thats not what its about.
 
I truly hope Konami imitates EA in their new good manners: Monthly/Weekly Updates that actually aim at fixing/improving very specific points highly requested by the masses.

It's 2018. Taking two months and a half to release your first gameplay patch and then going back into hiding, not saying if there's ever going to be another one? That's just not possible. They couldn't be anymore shady.

Updates need to be more consistent, scheduled in a better way, in a more open way, letting people know what and when it's going to happen.

The Russian League? GREAT ADDITION BY THE WAY. It's as licensed as my ass.

And don't even get me started about Gameplay Sliders. To think there's still people out there who reject them or even oppose to having them on the game. It's unbelievable.
 
my full manual online divisons escapades have got me promoted to Div 6 without a single relegation on my record! beating the likes of Juve and Man City with Aston Villa and Bournemouth bring me such great delight. Enjoying this very much. my WDL record is now 19/17/30 and rating is 476 which really isn't bad considering the amount of PA3 losers i come across

Same thing here. Professional is challenging enough on PA0. I started with Valenciennes, playing between Pro and TP, but TP was way unfair and BS. Changed it to Pro but I still got fired a couple matches after. Had a chance on Milwall and I´ve been having some draws, a defeat and a win. Brought in a couple players and they are making a huge diference, but it´s still hard to win those matches, specially with my TS at 40, but it´s very enjoyable on this level.
 
Hey guys. I have a question. Which match legnth do you prefer in Master League or online? 10 minute as a standard or something else?
 
Online is locked to 10m. Me as an offline stubborn default lover,i keep 10m and 0 speed although i aknowledge that sometimes it plays better at 15m,-1speed, but i am conservative as a gramps in pes reforms!! :P
