For me! If these welcomed fixes/improvements are as good as Konami claim, then if/when PES 2017 for PC turns out to be another Last-Gen port it will be a significantly less bitter pill for me to swallow?

The impressions last year and this year looks biased aswell...however(!) this year the improvements are more specific (well besides the press impressions). Last year every impression was generic like "shooting is good and crisp".
Im not hyped but im curious, they had (dont count 2014 bc Adam was just a community manager then) 3 years now to develop on Fox so if they cant do a decent sim-fun game in the 3rd year i think they wont/cant in the future.
So it is now or never in my eyes.

I guess what I will say is that a great many in here and elsewhere were initially impressed with PES2016. While not impressed by it any longer, I don't completely hate it.
Folk are looking for some conspiracy which isn't there. Listen, I used to do the WENB thing and went to playtests and alike and it simply being different was, admittedly, enough to see the positives over negatives. You just want to play it in that environment and while you will look out for certain things, a lot can get lost. Everybody will say "but if it was me doing it I would do better" They wouldn't, or at least not massively better.
Take it all as impressions in an environment that lasts a couple of hours. You go to these things and meet people from around various communities (I met Romagnoli from these boards at the PES2013 playtest back in the day, for example - cool guy) and you are caught up in the moment: glad to meet folk whom were nothing but a username and/or profile pic before and there is just good vibes in general. Might skewer the overall outlook when trying to gather thoughts and write about the game afterwards.
Nobody is up to anything I guess is what I am saying.
Trust? I just trust myself and nobody else when it comes to videogames because it will be me playing it...or not... and it is just a videogame.
I understand that.
The whole excitement of playing a new PES at first hand before anyone else and being part of a special "PESDay" event organized by Konami itself can really make playtesters not actually see any potential flaws that may overshadow the postive changes to the gameplay.
But at the same time I also think that the praise Pes 2017 have been recieving by the community is not the same as it was with Pes 2016. Theres a different ton of excietment this year. Playstesters this year seem to be very confident when they say Pes 2017 gameplay is fantastic and their reasoning for that seems to be a bit more convincing to me than last year when the majority of them only said vague, ridiculous thoughts lile "Pes 2016 gameplay very smooth and fun" (I hate that btw).
Does that Daniel guy also has an account on here ? He's crazily excieted by what he played and he is one of those that seem be too confident on what he says. He's putting his reputarion at risk because of how much hes been praisimg the game. And he seems to be an old member of wenbs forum.
FIFA moving to Frostbite has been confirmed by EA with a trailer.
Konami, your move.
Nothing wrong with good banter.
Not even good banter. EA actually showed bits of their game. Konami? 'Oh, no. We need to polish the graphics up before we allow people to record footage.'
Plus that whole 'we're better on the pitch' thing wasn't even true or accurate last year, when they started using it.
Shouldn't be talking shit about your competition when they're by far ahead of you and you don't even show off your game.

Adam seems scared.
Konami better make Pes 2017 to be the Pes 5 of our days...
If KONAMI made this kind of trailer (and they made it last years) they would have been called idiots, amateurs, and so on. Don't pretend to forget what happened when Pes launched a teaser trailer a week before the actual trailer.
Anyway do you call that bits of their game? If it wasn't specified it was Frostbite i wouldn't even guessed it, too little to even see something.
Except you'll get to see the game in 6 days.
If Konami were to do that trailer, they would probably have to announce a delay to their trailer. Or take the trailer down because it wasn't released at the right time and was running on an old build, or whatever the excuse was.
So EA can absolutely release a teaser to their trailer, because they release trailers on time and good ones.
Konami can't release teaser trailers because the game hasn't been any decent for years and years and years and people are rightfully weary and suspicious of Konami.
pes is the better game bro, trolololollllooololollolo

I have no idea what you are on about we have had trailers every year. I went looking for the EA trailer and there is hardly anything there to shout about. Calm down, breathe deeply, wooosaaaaa
Konami not showing any directfeed video of the game in action at e3 is, for many many people (myself included), is equivalent to skipping what is basically the most important gaming event in the world.
Its such an anti-popular/anti-marketing decision, specially when you have a huge company on the other side not just showing a new Fifa, its a new game on one of the most mordern engine ever, and thats a real nextgen move.
Cant you guys see the problem here ? They are just making their game to lose even more popularity.
At the end of the day, whats matter for everyone is how the final product looks like. If the game still is under developmemt and there will be notable improvements, thats not an excuse to not showing it and skipping such a huge event like E3.
Many, many developers of different genres already showed their games at an earlh stage of developmemt, many of them just use that note "game is currently under development and may not represent the quality of the final product", why cant Konami just do the same ?
This is not bad at all, this is actually very good.'its nice for the fans to see the progress of the game during development, that only motivates people to buy since it makes clear that they are making efforts to deliver they best they can do.
Konami only THINK they are doing the right thing by skippimg E3, but they are not.
I remember games not trailers. You don't remember the PES trailers being delayed and removed from YT? Incredible.
Also, what does writing long posts have to do with being calm or not? I'd like to know. I'll start writing up 2 word posts from now and then, seeing as writing long ones appear to make me look upset.
I remember games not trailers.
