I suppose Konami could release a locked-down Steam demo, if that's possible?
It's the PC, there's ways around it

I think i read somewhere that there will be no PC demo this year because of the mods, is it true?
lol, that rumour has been doing the rounds for the past few PES games :/
I'm pretty sure that even when passing is set to manual, the player you're using does come into it. So yes, you have control over the pass, but the worse the player at passing, the more error there is likely to be.
After all, consider this: when playing a pass in real life, you'd consider that to be 'manual' passing, no? And yet, does the ball go exactly where you aimed it? Of course not, otherwise the world would be full of Xavi and Scholes.
Thanks for your reply.
Your thinking is logical, but you know KONAMI..
However I've never seen this confirmed by official source.
I think I have seen on one of the E3 demo screens, a hint before the match, to choose manual passing if you want total control, where and with witch strength you wanna perform a pass.
You failthis is what ive been trying to point out to him
if 4 bar is so free and relies on actual accurate input then the differences between 4 bar and 3 bar, for example, must be very minimal. it would make having 5 pass settings redundant, and yet adam argues that all these options are needed for online filters because it would be unfair for a 3 bar player to play against a 4 bar player.
it seems contradictory to me.
You fail
2 bar,3 bar and 4 bar not unfair, depend on player 's skill
It was stated on one of the interviews, that each stadium lighting is calculated based on it's real latitude and longitude.
Did they say anything about proper dynamic lighting/weather?
Watching Spain vs Uruguay. With this new Fox engine, watching the first tech demo here:
YouTube - Kojima Productions: FOX Engine(For Kojima's next game!!!) Interview [E3 11]
will we get different pitches and weather environment depending on the continent and country? Different altitudes also?
In Europe and especially England, when it rains, will we get a miserable cloudy day then the intermediate of light rain, then heavy rain, the slow process of weather changing.
In Brazil, usually it will be hot, but when it rains, much like Central and South America and Jamaica for example, it's crazy, its like a monsoon for 10-20 minutes, then it literally dries up when the sun comes back out.
I wonder if day to night matches are available if you select evening kick off?
Well I had serious problems when editing Cremonese in CC for FIFA 12 because of this player:Incidentally, it's nice to be able to type words like 'arse' without them being censored. Unlike a certain other forum.![]()

To be honest, you never see the rain in TV broadcast cameras either because they are too far away from the pitch.would be nice to actually see the rain again, its stupid how you could only see it in cutscenes and never saw it in gameplay cameras... :/

I am thinking of feature in Flight Simulator X, where you can have real weather data downloaded and it is simulated within the game either static or dynamic weather for time interval.
I do think it benefits visual more than gameplay itself for a football game, unless we have crazy weather then the ref will already stop/cancel the match.![]()
Pes 2014 seems to be a total overhaul.
From the gameplay videos there is almost anything reminding PES 2013.
and that this is the most (close to) real life soccer game i ve ever seen.
Control mechanism/response and shitty AI (including keepers) could only ruin this game.

The football itself looks magnificent - now all we need is a total overhaul off the pitch as well.
Those tarts at EA have banned me from the forum. Probably for mentioning PES too much; cool - that's the first time I've ever been banned from a forum.![]()
What do EA expect when Fifa looks to be lagging behind this year, especially CG Fifa? It's natural for people to speak about the competition. EA are extremely worried this year that's for sure; there's no more or less talk about PES than any other year, yet they're getting the banhammer out - or at least giving people an infraction.
I really couldn't care less - I won't be buying Fifa 14 in any case.
Lol i remember you from the ea forums you been banned they don't give a shit over there, i got banned for talking about scripting i cant imagine getting banned from evo web for talking about such stuff and the mods here are so nice they tell you to calm down and stuff b4 they ban you, cant say that treatment extends to other forums nice to have u here for pes 14
Mods are too lazy over here, specially Lami that probably spend all his free time playing PES2014 beta and not sharing any info with us![]()
Also I heard they are all millionaires so they are always in good mood.![]()
