Quick question: Is it possible to pre-order PES14 PC at this time, as it is with FIFA? If so, please direct me as to where I could do such. Thanks.

Shopto is your friend - and my experience with them is that you'll get the game a day before release. :)

I'm pretty sure that even when passing is set to manual, the player you're using does come into it. So yes, you have control over the pass, but the worse the player at passing, the more error there is likely to be.

After all, consider this: when playing a pass in real life, you'd consider that to be 'manual' passing, no? And yet, does the ball go exactly where you aimed it? Of course not, otherwise the world would be full of Xavi and Scholes.

Thanks for your reply.

Your thinking is logical, but you know KONAMI..

However I've never seen this confirmed by official source.

I think I have seen on one of the E3 demo screens, a hint before the match, to choose manual passing if you want total control, where and with witch strength you wanna perform a pass.

Well, with the new engine it could well be all change for everything - on and off the pitch; I really hope so. :)

this is what ive been trying to point out to him

if 4 bar is so free and relies on actual accurate input then the differences between 4 bar and 3 bar, for example, must be very minimal. it would make having 5 pass settings redundant, and yet adam argues that all these options are needed for online filters because it would be unfair for a 3 bar player to play against a 4 bar player.

it seems contradictory to me.
You fail
2 bar,3 bar and 4 bar not unfair, depend on player 's skill

Watching Spain vs Uruguay. With this new Fox engine, watching the first tech demo here:

YouTube - Kojima Productions: FOX Engine(For Kojima's next game!!!) Interview [E3 11]

will we get different pitches and weather environment depending on the continent and country? Different altitudes also?

In Europe and especially England, when it rains, will we get a miserable cloudy day then the intermediate of light rain, then heavy rain, the slow process of weather changing.

In Brazil, usually it will be hot, but when it rains, much like Central and South America and Jamaica for example, it's crazy, its like a monsoon for 10-20 minutes, then it literally dries up when the sun comes back out.

I wonder if day to night matches are available if you select evening kick off?

Although all of them sound like amazing ideas I highly doubt any of them will be in the game. Otherwise I'm sure we would have information about it if they were in, Konami would be all over talking about that cuz that'd be unique and the first time ever to be included in football games.

I would love to play South American Qualifiers for the World Cup and having to play against Ecuador in Quito or Bolivia in La Paz which is at a very high altitude and it makes every other nation run out of breathe so quickly. Actually... that's Bolivia's only strength, their altitude (football-wise). That'd make you REALLY have to think about your starting 11 and your tactics. Counter-attacks. Lots of defensive players.

I am thinking of feature in Flight Simulator X, where you can have real weather data downloaded and it is simulated within the game either static or dynamic weather for time interval.

I do think it benefits visual more than gameplay itself for a football game, unless we have crazy weather then the ref will already stop/cancel the match. :P

Incidentally, it's nice to be able to type words like 'arse' without them being censored. Unlike a certain other forum. ;)
Well I had serious problems when editing Cremonese in CC for FIFA 12 because of this player:
http://www.transfermarkt.it/en/francesco-finocchio/profil/spieler_110930.html
I know that Finocchio is a one of the words standing for "gay" in Italian but... Come on!

After having reported the obvious mistake to EA, the only thing they could suggest (after a bunch of useless questions like "aer you playing a legit copy of the game?", "may we have your gamertag or your PSN ID?", "are you sure you installed your game properly?" and stuff like that) was "create him with a similar name or avoid creating him" (btw, the same happened to Rabito and I still don't get why).

By the way, I wonder what happens when someone tries to create Arsenal Reserves or Classic Scunthorpe then... :CONFUSE:

Pes 2014 seems to be a total overhaul.
From the gameplay videos there is almost anything reminding PES 2013.
and that this is the most (close to) real life soccer game i ve ever seen.
Control mechanism/response and shitty AI (including keepers) could only ruin this game.

would be nice to actually see the rain again, its stupid how you could only see it in cutscenes and never saw it in gameplay cameras... :/
To be honest, you never see the rain in TV broadcast cameras either because they are too far away from the pitch.

Really stoked about pes 2014, actually enjoyed the last few alot although hated the great lighting in 11( ithink) being taken out.

Being a dev myself, seeing whats possible now with the new technology and konami now implementing some of it too makes me very excited for the future. My biggest disappointment still though, is the ease of league creation, tourneys, features, scenario modes ie anything konami had in previous iss/pes /we titles being removed intermitently.

One feature i would really like added to pes would be, instead of commentary, a real pitch audio with players talking, shouting, giving commands, fing n blinding, grunting and so on. Make you feel like your on the pitch!

The best move konami could make(for console) is open this game up to a propper modding community in the same way fpshooters are or games such as lbp or that racing game on ps3 (name i forget).

I can't see there being any licensing issues as long as konami state that any use of unlicensed players/teams/stadia etc is unsupported.

All games that have modding capabilities/custom creation etc always get a pletharo of characters that would never be allowed due to licensing issues but can't be stopped via modding as it's fan material.

That's a great idea - it takes a few seconds to download that in FSX - it would work perfectly in PES.

Totally agree!

The football itself looks magnificent - now all we need is a total overhaul off the pitch as well.

Those tarts at EA have banned me from the forum. Probably for mentioning PES too much; cool - that's the first time I've ever been banned from a forum. :P:P

What do EA expect when Fifa looks to be lagging behind this year, especially CG Fifa? It's natural for people to speak about the competition. EA are extremely worried this year that's for sure; there's no more or less talk about PES than any other year, yet they're getting the banhammer out - or at least giving people an infraction.

I really couldn't care less - I won't be buying Fifa 14 in any case.

Mods are too lazy over here, specially Lami that probably spend all his free time playing PES2014 beta and not sharing any info with us

Also I heard they are all millionaires so they are always in good mood. :SMUG:
