Mods are too lazy over here, specially Lami that probably spend all his free time playing PES2014 beta and not sharing any info with us

Also I heard they are all millionaires so they are always in good mood. :SMUG:

Shadap otario. Not really enjoying this 8.30-5.30 6 day a week job.

Would much rather spend time hammering 2014 and get paid :SMUG:

WTH, dwyer is traveling in time??

Demo teams maybe?

I really hope not... I expect that there will be at least 4 south american teams in the demo, specially with the addition of Argentine & Chilen Legue. Also Konami is focusing even more in Latin america this year since is a very strong market for PES, as i told already they sell more PES than Fifa here in Brazil.

Lol i remember you from the ea forums you been banned they don't give a shit over there, i got banned for talking about scripting i cant imagine getting banned from evo web for talking about such stuff and the mods here are so nice they tell you to calm down and stuff b4 they ban you, cant say that treatment extends to other forums nice to have u here for pes 14

Yeah, well Fifa 14 CG looks to be too recycled for my tastes; even 'NG' looks too fast. As I said over at EA Forums: I'm not eating the recycled diet this time. There's a gorgeous (Japanese) girl over the other side of the room offering me a three course banquet... and 'dessert'. :D

Noticed that this morning during the spain v uruguay match.

That's a good point - the only time you actually see the rain is when you get a lower camera shot. Otherwise you see nothing and it's not as if it was light English drizzle; Pearce said that it was chucking it down!

Either way, as long as PES 14's rain doesn't make the pitch play like it's been waterlogged all the time, and has better graphics than a Commodore 64 could manage, I don't mind.

Same shit since 08 Pro evo looks to have vision a understanding of were they are going.

Well I'd like to have back the water splashes and stuff, but certainly don't mind not seeing the rain in gameplay camera.

Yea, little splashes for the ball and sliding tackles are a nice touch but I can do without seeing the rain in widecam.

Doctor76 what happened to you loving FIFA?

I definitely remember you from EA forums. I remember FIFA 10 (PC) thread, when Ian announced "revolutionary" changes. I stated that those are all lies and will not believe one word EA speaks.

This resolve seems to be still valid for Current Gen/Next Gen titles. Yes, current gen FIFA is good. Very good even, but... For some reason they f**ked up. I still think FIFA 11 on PC was the pinnacle, the king, the best FIFA I have played (yes, it didn't have sliders or superb looking Career mode, but on the pitch it was masterpiece reminding me of better PES5/6 with 360 movement incorporated).

Those new FIFAs end up to be very predictable vs AI, online is a proper mess too (easy exploits available include Gk rushing out and never getting red card, ever. Lofted through balls and double tapped crosses - work TOO WELL).

There is also a thing with AI in FIFA. It never bothers to attack. If you're patient enough AI will give you the ball back.

Didn't notice this changed with difficulty.

Now my personal rant on sliders. Useless, useless and useless! Changing them from default 50s makes the game, easier. Tried almost all slider sets at Operation Sports, tried Placebo sliders. Compared with default Legendary and World Class. Manual/Semi/Assisted.

You know what? Defaults are always the winner. Maybe it's just me.

If AI is balanced from the get-go there is no need to tamper with it. KONAMI knows this pretty well (I still have hard time vs 6* on PES5/WE9LE :P). Plus I wonder if any other game could make AI like F.E.A.R. games did (probably the most underrated feature ever in FEAR, but for me, one of the reasons I love this game so much).

No scripting or cheating or rubber banding needed.

YouTube - F.E.A.R.: AI Trailer

Heh. Nostalgia (remember it's a game from 2006 - but NONE of COD/BF games uses such AI - all is scripted in those two, one playthrough and you know all about enemy locations/behavior and such. Sigh).

so what are they?

1 heracles
2 getafe
3 juve
4 nantes
5 ajax
6 groningen
7 real
8 montpellier
9 psg
10 torino

btw its just a slight show off that some leagues(dutch, spanish, italian, french) are still fully licensed there imo

btw what about real time, dynamic time?
just adjust the clock in your game, console and then ingame u can choose to turn on this feature, etc if u select asian stadiums like now in europian time, there will be night etc, etc like how was it in metropolis street racer

it's not just belief, it's a fact! fifa 11 pc was the best pc football game since pes 3-6.

and the only fifa i played more than pes at that time.

Loved that feature in VS2 because it gave a little bit of variety when playing it (I remember keepers having a cap if it was afternoon IRL), but... I doubt it would be useful in PES: ML matches have to be played according to the ML calendar, and the CPU can't know in advance f you're going to play a match at 2 AM IRL or at 4 PM... One thing that I would welcome would be "dynamic lighting" instead, like matches played in winter at 6 PM that start in the afternoon and end at night like inr eal life ;)

But all in all, these are just cosmetic features that won't affect the gameplay. Now that is what I'm reallyng looking forward to. Once the gameplay is fine, every addition, even if small, would be welcomed ;)

If scoring 10/10 finesse shots, brain dead A.I. and 30+ yard goals exploit is the definition of "pinnacle", than FIFA 11 was that.

I would really like dynamic weather, like the daylight moving on the pitch. However, with a 45 minute half compressed into 10 or 15 minutes, you would literally see the light move on the pitch, if it was real-time. Rather, they would shift the light a bit in half time, which would be a great touch but only noticable the first few times I guess. But the transition from clear/sunny to overcast/rain and even thunder (and vice versa) is something we really need to start having in our Football games.

For the PC specs...My opinion is that you can play the PES 2014 with these specs:

Intel 2 Duo 2.40 Ghz
Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 MB
4 GB Ram...

You will need better PC if the PES 2014 needs directx11...

FIFA 11-13 PC game is the other and long story...

Is it confirmed that it's DX11 only? I don't remember I read anything similar (but if it was, I would welcome the decision)...

Anyone knows if in 2014 there's still the option to play with the crosspad besides the left analog?
