Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread

I've never liked the sheilding in the corner routine, but every club does it, from the little uns to the big uns. You can't just kick the fuckers, even though it probably would piss me off big time.

Funny thing is just before the first goal, Boswinga was time wasting at a throw in and sent the crowd mental.

Re: Liverpool Thread

The thing about George. Shows he knows nothing much about football. If he thinks we lost form purely because of what rafa said then hes a fool. The team has weaknesses that those two muppets haven't allowed us to address.

The players have to do the business on the pitch, rafa can't control that

Re: Liverpool Thread

rumoured to be Saviola from Madrid.

i'd fuckin love Villa though, Valencia need the money and if we can get the £19m back for Keane i'm sure the owners can scrape another £10m from somewhere to put a bid together.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Surely Keane will go for a bit less than that. Spurs would be crazy to buy him back at nearly the same price?!

Re: Liverpool Thread

Can't see any replacements coming in now. Although there's still time, I'm sure we'd have heard something a bit more concrete by now.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Time for Babel for CF? :) Or Kuyt with Benayoun on the right wing? Benny has been impressive form as of late.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Much rather see Babel up front instead of Kuyt.

Although I'd rather we signed a striker to replace Keane rather than Babel up front. Once Babel put some weight on, gets confidence up and consistently wants to take players on, then I wouldn't mind him playing as a striker.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Has Babel been practicing at all? He looks jaded everytime he comes (as a sub) and couldn't do any fancy close dribbling, always toe poke forward so he can run at, and usually being cut off.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Just some rubbish that someone has made up.

Our chairmen want to leave, they wont spend their money to bring players in when they want to leave with as much money as possible.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Keane gone. What an odd 6 months that was...

Wonder if we wil get a replacement in the next 10 mins and 10 seconds...

Re: Liverpool Thread

LOL This made me laugh:

1642: If I were a Liverpool fan, I'd want pictures on the club website of Fernando Torres literally wrapped up in cotton wool, because if he gets injured, their season is over. Dirk Kuyt and David Ngog up front? Fergie will be laughing into his Portuguese wine.

Re: Liverpool Thread

 In the end Keane has been used as a pawn by the club and treated like crap, I wonder if he still is a Liverpool fan after all this?

Re: Liverpool Thread

Id rather get rid of Thicks, Gillete and Reeek.

Thicks is the reason we sold Keane. They want to recoup as much money as possible before they sell us on to the Kuwatis

Re: Liverpool Thread

Am I the only one who thinks Keane was never given a fair chance to how his ability and that Rafa should have stuck with him in the team and help him gain confidence and form, like SAF did with Berbatov earlier in the season. Yet even when Keane found form, like after his two goals against Bolton, he was dropped??:FAIL:Incompetent man-management by Rafa? Probably. SAF kept Berbatov in the team even though he was yet to convince us of his ability and Tevez had scored four goals against Blackburn in the Carling Cup. Now look how well he has gelled into the side and gained form and confidence.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Exactly.

If Rafa had've got his way and got Barry and Alonso had gone to Arsenal you would probalby be 4th now.
