Come on Dags don't be silly now. You know as well as I do that at that moment we were going through on away goals. Babel was fouled by Fabregas outside the area for the "pen". Babel was very clever and fell in the box.

There was no way back for us after that.

Like I have said before, you can paper over your cracks and dress up your "win" anyway you like but you will be found out eventually cos there are 4 teams still left in the compettion who are superior to Liverpool.

I was gutted at the time purely because it was a soft goal. There were ten minutes left and it's at Anfield with the crowd in raptures. We never gave up.

Babel was initally fouled by Fabregas but kept going, Toure then jumped on his back and pulled his arm back in the box.

There was hardly any contact between Toure and Babel but Toure made it look very clumsy as he was all over the place. Much like Kuyt was at the Emirates for the Penalty that never was.... I think Arsenal played very well and were extremely unlucky IMO. You lads werent even at the races for the 1st 30 mins where Arsenal should have scored 3 or 4!!

Yeh, but they didn't score 3 or 4. And any fan will be lying if he doesn't admit Arsenal were poor in the 2nd half.

Yeh, forgot to mention, Skrtel was absolutely AWESOME! Felt sad to see him lie down after Adebayor scored the 2nd. He must have thought it was over. But Pepe picked him up and said 'Not yet!'. And a few seconds later, Babel went past 3 defenders to earn a penalty.

Skrtel has really settled in well, he looks like a masterstroke of a signing. I'd possibly go as far as saying I'd trust Skrtel over Agger more ... that could be just at this time though :)

I have to agree, he reminds me of Owen, pre-injured :P It's just he may not have Owen's finishing touch, but it'll be VERY interesting to see his progress down the years. And yes, I was wondering why nobody took a yellow card to bring him down.

I don't think there's a pull on Babel's hand, and no he didn't dive, he was "roughed up" outside the box and tried to continue, and when he fell down after Toure's half-challange/bump/slight-challange .. , and the ref gave the penalty. Dubious, but it is a foul, MAYBE outside the box. It was Babel's effort that made it a penalty, if any.

Next you will be telling me Mascherano was saying nice things to the ref at Old Trafford like "Id shag your wife mate" and shouldnt have been sent off.I love you Liverpool fans I really do, your all so very 1 track minded.
