Typical L'pool fan, always talking about the 'glory years'. Now is what is important and you are the in-joke at the Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United dressing rooms. You are not one of the 'big' clubs that teams fear playing because you cannot beat other big clubs, only the minnows. At least we beat Barcelona this season and I can see my club in the TOP HALF of the table! :lol:

My friend... EVEN ARSENAL FC OFFICIAL SITE (!!!), to the "opponent table info" (last nigh, LIVERPOOL...) had the following word:

"Liverpool FC, the MOST SUCCESSFULL, famous and great british team..."

Now... ANY other words are useless!

Liverpool has the SAME great players like past years...
Probably... THAT'S THE PROBLEM! LFC DIDN'T any serious transffers this year and the VERY SAME players are PLAYING SO LONG without rest!

Yours, on the other hand, EVERY bloody year is spending MILLIONS of euros to gather EVERY POSSIBLE great player of the world... and STILL can't continue the great "old History" of the club!
You GIVING away SUPERB players like MAKELELE and taking VIPs like... Bekham!

And... WHO said that the REAL LFC fans, wants EVERY bloody year to be on "the top"?
We want a REAL GREAT team! If that takes SEVERAL years (remember... MANCHESTER UNTD.!), so be it!

LFC needs 3-4 good transffers...
Look upon your REAL!... You need to kick-out... the 80% of your players!
Gimme ONE good player, WORTH TO PLAY to "European Queen" (REAL), except RAUL, CASILAS and probably Robinhio...
Do you have DEFENCE? WHO??? R. Carlos? He's... NOT a deffender. He's... FORGETTING to cross the center-line and go BACK to his post!
Do you have MIDDLE line? WHO? Bekham? Except his EXELLENT foot for faul-kick and long pass... what ELSE?
Do you have OFFENCE (except RAUL)? WHO? Ronaldo?... I'm RUNNING FASTER than this... fat boy! And I'm 36 years old!

So... check you team, with the SUPERB HISTORY and... the pathetic team of the last 5-6 years and then come and making critics.
And winning Barcelona doesn't mean anything! Barcelona, along with Arsenal, Chelsy & Lion... are the BEST teams around the globe right now.

If WE win Chelsy in Anfield, DOESN'T making us BETTER! Just LUCKY to have a good performance... So to you.

Cheers... and LEARN football first, learn to UNDESTANDING it better. I was playing football, from 12 to 32 (as goalkeeper). And a goalie, has the lucky possition to WATCHING carefully ALL the action in a game. NOT only the "hot" area, where the ball is playing...

(And I'm a BIG LFC fan... but I'm not child or a drunk hooligan, to speaking without KNOWLEDGE and with fanatism!)

Wow lupus you really know your stuff, I remember watching KENNY too and all i can remember is the CANNON foot like KOEMAN of Holland, once his foot made contact with the BALL in the "hot" zone it was ROCKET power 90 mile per hour into the back of the net 9 time out of 10. Will we ever see a player like him again?

No... He's not crazy. Just... STUPID! He's using Stevie-lad (I BLOODY LOVE THAT GUY!) as RW (Right-Wing), when GARSIA can EASILY play in the damn possition!
Of course, in a FULL HEALTHY LFC team, he CAN'T use Stevie in th center!

Actually we beat Arsenal twice at Home in the last two years:roll:

But yes, under Houllier we were well up for big league matches

Title race over but to be honest I personally never thought we'd win it this year. We just didn't get the players we really wanted (Simao, Alves)

It was a funny game, played quite well first half, Alonso was amazing. Three very soft goals if you ask me, out of nowhere.

My friend, I'm POINTING THAT (his... "black"! OBVIOUSLY he is!...) because EVERYBODY KNOWS that black people are BETTER athletics!!!

Anyway... Stevie-lad needs... HIS DAMN PLACE/POSSITION! Stevie played well yesterday. Crouch too - he fought like a bloody lion, ALONE in the top of offence! Huyt ALSO fought FANTASTIC! Alonzo was great... Lauren was great too... Pennant ALSO play good (and gave some "decent"... kicks! Hehehe!)...
...and that's about it! Gonzales was PATHETIC! HOW WE SENDING OFF SISSE AND KEEPING THAT USELESS GUY???... Riise played moderate. Garragher also. Hyypia too. (Both these last two fellows, were TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE for the 3 goals... Of course, RAFA IS THE MOST RESPONSIBLE, because he SHOULDN'T have them playing ALL THE DAMN GAMES!)
Finnan played moderate... REINA played as always - MODERATED!

So... one person from MIDDLE-FIELD was PATHETIC (Gonzales) and Rafa was KEEPING the team attacking FROM left (his side)!
And... the DEFENCE was from moderate rank to PATHETIC!
HOW A TEAM CAN'T GET GOALS, with so bad defence?
And HOW you expecting to MAKE a goal, when you're NOT playing from your GOOD side (Gerrard) and you KEEP playing from your PATHETIC left wing (Gonzales)???

That's a tiny - HONEST - analysis from last night's game...

lupus is correct here, I couldn't believe Rafas decisions, Gonzalez on the left wing made no sense. It was the biggest mistake ever to put Stevie G on the right, he may as well have put Gerrard in as goalkeeper and then maybe LFC would have had a draw, Arsenal didn't win the game yesterday, Rafa Benitez lost it for Liverpool.

Gerrard play WELL, I said. He didn't play GREAT as he does, for SEVERAL reasons!

First of all, I'm sending e-mails to his manager and he's sending back answers about the player...

Do you ALL know how badly the lad was injured? He was hit in his knee! The lad is NOT in good shape yet.
Second, he DID play well! AS BEST AS he can... in a WRONG possition (Right Wing) and with the fact that LFC, in Sunday's evening, played FROM THE LEFT SIDE ALL THE TIME - from Gonzales' side!!!

GOT IT NOW???

So learn FOOTBALL first, then open the mouth to say a critic.

ALL THESE, I've wrote them ABOVE, BEFORE I said " ...Stevie play well"!

So... READ FIRST ALL THE TEXT,... learn the game second,... speak then and I'll SURELLY will listen!

(LEARN THE GAME, boys! Don't just WATCHING the "Teli"! Watch a damn... porno like this! Soccer CAN'T be watch like this... Soccer MUST be learned first, and then watching it carefully. I've wrote an analysis above... Put in the VHS or the DVD the VERY SAME game and you'll see EXACTLY what I said...)

... ARSENAL WON the game! The problem is that LFC WASN'T there in "FULL BODY"! The 2 lines were there - Offence/Middle, the defence was "gone"!
Also, Rafa made TERRIBLE mistakes in the formation!
Understand this... or NOT! I don't care; I KNOW THE GAME!

And PREY, the lad (Stevie) NOT TO think of... LEAVING ANFIELD! That would be a TOTAL DISASTER! I've read an article last two weeks, about his thoughts of... a POSSIBLE leave!

It's STUPID to ask or expecting something like that, with our team in the 5th with 17 point (9th, comparing the goals' numbers) and Manchester Utd. in the first place with... 31 points!
There is a... "lack" of 14 points here! That means... 4 wins + 2 draws. So, we... "need" to keep winning for 4 games and get 2 draws, while the TOP PLACES' teams should... loosing for these 6 games...
I CAN'T SEE HOW this is a realistic plan/expectation!
It is Man Utd. gonna LOOSE 6 games (not in a row) and LFC WIN these 6 games? Impossible, to me...

So... FORGET THE BLOODY league! A team can't winning all the time; of course, LFC has long time to win a "Premiership"... But, LFC is "walking" GREAT in the others. LFC, to me, is a... "nock-out game" team! When LFC is playing in a FINAL, is probably the WINNER! So... we have the CL (are we gonna take the... 6th? HERE, in MY HOME-CITY, ATHENS??? HEHEHE!!!)... We have the "Carling" Cup. The "FA"... So much to win, if we can...

THE MAIN THING IS... TO ESTABLISHE A GREAT TEAM, A NICE GROUP OF "FIGHTER-PLAYERS".
AND KICK-OUT SOME OTHERS! AND - FINALY!!! - THIS XMASS... TO GET A COUPLE OF GREAT "KEY-PLAYERS"!

Yes sunday's game was quite disgusting I had to
turn it off as soon as the 3rd goal went in.

Rafa has lost the plot a bit...again he is still
undermining the EPL. Still don't understand at this
point why we don't play with two proper wingers and
Gerrard through the middle.

There are a couple of things that Rafa needs to figure out. I'm thinking that we will - again - have an amazing run in form in the second half of the season and all these problems will be brushed under the rug again in time for next season :(

Shocker has been Alonso - ever since that disaster of a game in Spain v Ireland, he hasn't looked the same. New signing Pennant has been a shambles - especially when you compare him to the time he was in Birmingham.
