I know goals in the qualifiers dont count but technically Gerrard should be the CL's top goal scorer with 5 goals.

I think Crouch has been bashed around unfairly by a lot of
Liverpool fans, when the lad has not even played one minute
for the reds.
Sure, I think 7m is a bit too much, but I have a strong feeling
he will turn out to be a great signing.
Not only does he score goals (remember he scored more than
any other Liverpool striker last season)
but he also has a great touch, he holds the ball up well,
and brings other players into the game.
I think he will really bolster our attack.
Who knows, maybe Baros will thrive with him as strike partner.
Considering the fact that our strikers have been struggling
for goals last season (Cisse out, Baros' dry streak in 05,
Morientes out of form), this has got to be a good gamble,
paying for a striker who has scored goals in the EPL.
I think Rafa wanted a tall target man who could take pressure
off Liverpool in away games.

I meant 7-million pounds for his transfer.
He's actually 6 feet 8 inches tall.

Olympiakos game - a little sloppy at times but overall not a bad showing for a Sven-style substitution type game. Particularly enjoyed Morientes' finish. Sweet.

I signed an online petition for Michael Shields that someone on the Red and White Kop website started. They already have about 2000 signatures. they have a link to make donations to his legal fund as well.

Fuckin' crime.

Putting that guy in jail is almost a bigger crime than the one that the case was about in the first place.
