They are touts, the only way you can get legitimate tickets (at face value) is if you buy via the Liverpool or Chelsea websites, or get some of the official FA tickets (e.g. you work at an amateur club or know someone who does), but there are probably thousands of people trying to do this.

Oh god, don't remind us.

Actually those quotes remind me of an important aspect of why fans wanted to get rid of Hodgson and continue, to a certain degree, to back Dalglish, and something I think Gerd has questioned.

It might be lost in the subtlety of the language, but all those quotes and the majoriy of Hodgson's press conferences were always about him with the club, players, fans coming 2nd and often as a hindrence or in a negative way to defend himself. Whereas Kenny, even if it isn't always the best solution (like Suarezgate), always puts the club, the fans and the players first and backs them whatever. Even with Commolli heading off he still took responsibility for the signings, even though he could easily have kept quite, and lessened the pressure on him, and let the press / fans blame Commolli.

and the worst thing is this is just a small part of what he said/did in his spell with the club..

I agree, I mean he doesn't measure up to the success of Daglish marching you to 8th, imagine finishing above Everton? Utopia.

You mean 14th, and out of the cups. Indeed, thanks for stating the obvious younggun, its just a shame you didnt realise it when trying to post a sracastic comment. ;)

Looks like Hamburg are interested in signing Kuyt in summer...

to be honest he has been a good servant and i realy don´t want us to sell him.. more to keep him and buy top wingers just to play Kuyt up front as CF... untill he retires with us...

If we have a list of Dalglish quotes....they would be pretty
embarassing as well.....surely not as bad as Hodgson.

I am happy we dont have Hodgson any more....he was not just
suited to Liverpool

Dalglish is better than Hodgson....atleast he has taken
us to 2 cup finals.....
but his league form is crap....

Still feel that neither manager is really suited
for Liverpool in this day and age.

i realy leave it to the time, i look forward to the FA Cup final and then the summer transfer window ;) i´m happy and i support this club even in semi-professional league.... ;) as well as my home town club, but i support hockey more at home....

i don´t care about critics tbh.. i love this club for sporting and non-sporitng reasons :P

Very few managers stack up to Shanks.

Comolli was given the boot by Fenway SI. They gave the money in good faith trusting it would be spent wisely.

Instead some £70M has been squandered on what are nothing more than average players.

There is just one world class player at the club at present and that is Suarez love him or loathe him.

PIPA will be no doubt pleased though by Slovakia's u20 getting promotion back to the elite u20 level. ;)

We lost today because Johnson was a mistake. Next year we won the title. I prefer Liverpool after the Red Star.

there was no need for those Hodgson pictures ....

especially with the record Dalglish has this season...

Hodgson has been been personally vindicated....
he has got his justice...

Hodgson's record against Dalglish since leaving Liverpool
2 wins, 1 defeat

Hodgson had a better home record for Liverpool...

We have 5 home wins this season...

Liverpool are closer to the relegation zone than top-4...

after splashing out 55 million on 2 strikers...
45 million on 3 midfielders...who have created/scored
so less....
we just have no accuracy in front of goal.....
to me that is a coaching issue and the fact that
we have bought so many average players at high prices which puts
so much pressure on them.
Lots of bad decisions made since last January.....

While...Look at Newcastle ......... Alan Pardew....the way
he gets his team to play....
great signings at low budget......terrific players..
they SCORE GOALS........that's how to win games....

We need new players and a new manager to take us into
the future.

mathewsss i know statistically Hodgson was better but i wouldn´t wanted him as coach ahead of Dalglish... hard to explain, it´s in the personality of them both..and about today.. we gave up on league and i´m worried for next season if we don´t chainge our strategy or just simply take our chances...

today again we played, but the other team won... i don´t know who we are following in to buy, but it better be top class talents who need one chance to score, otherwise we are in big trouble..

I am not saying we should have kept Hodgson...he was taking us
down the table pretty fast...
But for Liverpool fans to gloat over Hodgson's quotes
while totally ignoring Dalglish is not fair.

Hodgson was the worse manager for his defensive tactics
and was not suited given his constant press-conference mistakes
and over-estimation of opponents...

Dalglish is also not suited to be a Liverpool manager
given his terrible league form, bad judgment of players
and the terrible way he handled the Suarez-Evra case....
and terrible coaching of players....look at our finishing !!

We should never have sacked Rafa...and replaced him with Hodgson
or Dalglish.

I think it was all done because of Carra and Gerrard's player power that
has got us in this big mess....
along with Christian Purslow ....a Liverpool fan who was given
too much power by the previous owners...
They pushed Rafa out of the club ....and wanted a British manager
to sign more British players....and not the foreign ones that Rafa
got...
Even before Rafa came...after Houllier was sacked...Gerrard
was saying they wanted a British manager like Curbishley....
Now with Rafa gone....they wanted Dalglish...
who was at the club thanks to Rafa....but he wanted to become manager
when Rafa was pushed out....so Dalglish promptly puts his name forward
ridiculously.....when there were better candidates out there.
So Purslow got Hodgson since they did not trust Dalglish...
and the fun began.....
but with Dalglish hanging around in the club
watching Hodgson failing....all the fans and the British players
wanted Dalglish back....it was like 1990 all over again...

And finally FSG listened to the fans...and appointed Dalglish
who was out of the game for more than 10 years...and
who has sacked in his last 2 jobs at Celtic and Newcastle.

Yet again we see the results of misguided policies which
are backed by powerful players....

I think FSG realize they made a big mistake in listening
to the fans and other powerful figures
....they should never have given Dalglish a 3-yr contract....
it's not as if he is highly in demand at other clubs.
They should have given him a 1-yr contract...and evaluated him at the
middle and end of the season.

Yes Dalglish did a fantastic job with the EXISTING team...
but that should have been that.....
Giving him and Comolli 110 million was the biggest mistake.

Hope FSG start fresh this summer.......
get rid of Dalglish and sell Downing, Carroll, Adam, Maxi,
Bellamy, Carra, Gerrard.
Get in AVB or Van Gaal....give them power to clean up
this mess and sign no player more than 15 million unless
they are world-class...
Do the real moneyball signings like Newcastle.

people who sacked Rafa and then appointed Hodgson are not longer asociated with this club..those who are our new owners wanted to give chance to Dalglish for 3 years, if they chainge their minds or not, it´s nothing we fans can do about it...of course Dalglsih get´s lot´s of more patience from most fans, he is club legend and there is no biger player who ever played in red shirt than him... he is as well different type of human/coach ambasador of the club than Hodgson..

i agree on what you say.. but i think our owners are not stupid and if we don´t progress after next transfer window, they will find a new coach..but i belive Dalglish will get another transfer window...

In his case it´s not just about goalscoring... also the eight match ban was reason for not more goals probably...

i bet you would consider him world class if he wore United shirt instead of Liverpool´s..

Not world-class, probably a tier below. He's not in the class of van Persie, Rooney, Aguero etc.
