Thx pal! Let me ask you, cause I feel that way… playing on WC with the lower league team feels even more off, right?!
Im constantly switching between WC and Prof., when playing first league teams. Second league and lower makes WC look even more horrible as the teams arent supposed to pass around like Barca in his prime.
i always thought I could kinda fix the keeper plunder when playing on WC, but thats not the case (Imo).

Will have some 2nd league matches tonight with you settings. You cool posting you sliders set again, pls?! :)

I'll check but I think they are default sliders for full manual. I haven't tried lower teams world class as I'm not good enough anymore to try fuma world class. I think the biggest thing for me is leaving the AI sliders alone and playing a much higher line and assigning step up to my defensive line . That cuts out most of the AI cheap goals from the 6 yard box

If you want to see less perfect passing/touches give my sliders a go. They’ve been refined quite a lot since you tried them last. As @hitmanuk mentioned, there’s an explanation about the tactical adjustment in regards to the defensive line and step up instruction in there. Try it all together so you can use it in full. I’ve played WC and Legendary and I prefer Legendary for the stronger resistance - but it’s a challenge!

Finding the game a real challenge on legendary with my settings. Still loving it though.

You can see here how the tactical adjustment is improving the midfield when combined with sliders. The line height is much better and there’s less overall retreating. Chelsea’s first goal had 10 passes leading up to it, no ping pong - just a well worked goal. Here's a half...

I am preferring your settings over Matt's for various reasons. However, I just hate the baked in reluctance of my AI defenders to engage, and the AI pressing like peak Liverpool for 90 mins. It's just crap.
 
My Copa liberatores qualification hangs in the balance after a another 3-2 loss . My last game I need a draw to qualify against 3rd in the table . I'll post the game later
 
Here it is , a point requires to qualify and finish 2nd in the group after a string of bad results. I decided to throw a few more men forward in this game. It was tense in the early period, what a game it was

I genuinely don't see an issue, are you saying it's impossible to set with the right foot then hit on the half volley with the same foot? There are far more ridiculous looking goals in real life

Try to do it. Control a ball coming from the ground with your right foot, then without letting your right foot touching the floor, try to hit the ball as hard as you can. It is hard to generate any power. I believe every human would take a foot step or two before hitting it hard, or would take it first time.
That's typical frames skipped on the hostel of responsiveness. But that's not new to FIFA22. It has been there since the early days of frostbite.

Happy New Year Pap! Yeah it’s frostbite FIFA for sure. Fifa to watch is always a little ugly IMO. In the flow of the game it felt organic and within the realm of realism. The behaviour is natural so it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment but I would love to see EA properly sort the animations out.
 
So I gave the game another go and applied latest OS sliders this time. And yes, it plays way better with them now. Pace is much better and I don't get these weird results anymore. Still annoyed (not surprised though) about EAs latest FUT-patch because I really had fun on default and hoped I have not to tinker with sliders after every patch this time. But sadly, it is what it is.
I may start a new career and see what will happen after the next patch...

I don't tinker with any sliders now , just make sure my defensive line is high in my tactics and step up is applied to each defender, Game is superb. Currently playing cops liberatores on world class.

On another I judge how good a football came is by the amount of time I play it

I play 2 or 3 games of fifa 22 every day on ps5 near enough and still playing it in January.

I'm still seeing things that are new , the matches are exciting with free kicks penalties and a variety of goals.

Team individuality is there with weaker and stronger teams. If you play with an average team playing against a higher team is tough as it should be. Same goes against a weaker team.
Going down to 10 men really matters in close games

Also I'm starting to learn a few skills like drag back and they work very well for creating space

80 team height plus step up for my CB‘s, like advised here, is my go to tactical setting now. Thanks for the advice!!

Played some matches last weekend and found Messi shoots to be super op! Man, i like to fight PSG on WC or prof. but some players shoot on target like crazy! Add the keeper choosing the wrong animation and you have a situation that blows my mind! ^^
man, EA, fix those keepers please!

Unless they have fixed it, haven't played in a while. I'd like to give it another go soon.

I know exactly what you mean! Again, as a keeper, I can see so many animations picked inappropriately. It’s all in the game, all those awesome keeper animations… just pick the correct one, FIFA22, please!!

what a first 45 that was yesterday! Really enjoyed that, very entertaining!!

They can't be that bad otherwise there would be a ton of goals , most of my games have 2 - 3 goals max . I get a lot of 1 nils 2-1s etc. However if there are glaring issues pls don't point them out as I don't want to see them 😂

I was on my way creating a video… thanks for saving me some time. :D
just last night, Messi was scoring three in a row with unbelievable hard shots accompanied by some stupid goalkeeper animation. I’ll leave it here… for now. ;)
When I was talking over powered shots before, now for me the real curse are the goalkeeper animations.

slow gamespeed? And now sliders at all even no injury? halve time? Decided today to buy an xbox series s and fifa 22. manuel? So like to start normal before changing allot with sliders.
 
I play on normal speed but recently lower teams, I've had a few injuries in my last tournament. Just started a career with Bolton in Div 1 see how that goes
