Would it really cost them that much to have a sim mode?Agreed. I feel like EA have all the tech in place to make a great game, but their focus on FUT just ruins the gameplay.

you arrived late compared to other users but you seem to me to be among the most entertained by my patch.Yes.
If you have a PC - even a bad one - check out this PES 5 mod called "PES 5 - The Original Season" by @Fabri55 and @Andregranata91. It's like a HD version of PES 5, fully-featured with all the teams and stadiums from the original season (2005/2006). It's honestly just wonderful.
Then, get stuck into a Master League, remember how hard it is to grind a result with that awful starter team (or you can use the real players if you prefer), and tell us your career story over in The Retro-PES Corner. You'll get over the lack of 360-movement and fancy graphics fairly quickly, when you realise the depth to the tactical system and the attributes.
She is going to be the "goal commentator", whatever that means. I assume that means she describes the goals? But doesn't do anything else?
Maybe replacing the alan mcinally goal reports from other gamesShe is going to be the "goal commentator", whatever that means. I assume that means she describes the goals? But doesn't do anything else?

Felt like they rewritten the ea press release, nothing else!Very positive preview here from Operation Sports:

It's given ME hope. Which is really annoying. Are you giving me hope?
Sounds too good to be true. In the sense that I wonder how much of this stuff they'll ditch or dumb down to nothing in the final release and the subsequent patches..Very positive preview here from Operation Sports:

Lee Dixon is the most pessimistic guy ever "awful shot" when hitting a 30 m screamer crossbar and out.I stopped playing FIFA with commentary since they made the dumbest move ever to give up Martin Tyler.
The new commentators are so irritating I can't stand them.
I'll probably use Alex Scott in 22!

Alex Scott is very knowledgeable and good to listen to in my opinion.I stopped playing FIFA with commentary since they made the dumbest move ever to give up Martin Tyler.

I remember you saying you were playing FIFA with mods on PC a while back? It's given ME hope. Which is really annoying.
Maybe it's just because of today's news. Maybe I'm desperate.
But Operation Sports is the home of @Matt10 and other true enthusiasts, so. I trust their thoughts more than a standard review.
Modded FIFA 16 is a fantastic gameplay experience IMO. v1 with a "cl.ini" file, which can remove AI boosts and change the physics of the game, is probably the most realistic football experience I've played. But it's not a million miles from v1 on the PS4. And it's not perfect. What are modded FIFA games like I’ve always wondered? The footage I’ve seen they look incredible and quite life-like.
PC/PS4/Xbox One won't get Hypermotion but they get everything else, I believe (e.g. improved goalkeepers and the like).Chris that OPS review sounds promising and I hear that PC version isn't getting the Hyper motion thing.
That’s a great write up Chris. Thanks for sharing:Very positive preview here from Operation Sports:

Its called crab danceThey had an absolutely glowing hands-on preview of FIFA 21 last year, so I won't hold my breath. I realize that a lot of early impressions of the beta differed to the final retail product. I will say I'm more excited for FIFA 22 than whatever shit sandwich Konami just served up, but that's not saying much.

Players still crab core? STILL? Elbows out, head cocked sideways, body crouched/compressed (he's tracking the ball while turning). Who the hell moves like that? I attempted to replicate this stance/posture just now and it was so unnatural, I felt like I was in a medieval torture device. All of this talk of Hypermotion, but they can't even replicate basic human locomotion.

Ha ha ha.Nope, the most pessimistic ever, the most negative ever, is Stewart Robson, at least they haven't added him to Fifa, oh, wait...
