Gameplay speed is good on slow.
So there is NO Europa league LOL only on CM. Whats point then to have UEFA licence...
Also there is NO generic stadiums in CL kick off.

EA are really idiots.

Admitting it affects matches will likely fuel wild theories about the online competitive game, I don't think they'll do that.
But it should be made clear that it does affect the CM gameplay, it's a huge issue for years and they should fix it even if the patch notes just read "fixed an issue with the skill games, wink wink nudge nudge".

The difference is so huge that the slow/normal/fast gameplay option doesn't matter at all. I'd rather play on the "fast" gameplay option, than this buggy "online fast" one!

Which stadium is being preselected when you choose a home team with a generic home stadium?

Yea, this is something I noticed in videos, demo and now full game. I tweeted EA multiple times about this. Very strange decision. The ball feels alive from point A to point A 1/2, but getting to B, it just stops. Tried winter matches, in the rain, same thing. Need to try a snow match, but not sure I want to.
 
I love legendary but I can see why ppl will get frustrated as the ai will suddenly punish you with any lapse in concentration.
World class there is a lot more freedom but I feel like the ai will never score against me even when giving chances nowhere near as clinical

Have you tried increasing AI's first touch error slider quite a bit (especially on higher difficulty levels)? It is crucial to me in slowing down the AI ping pong craziness. It also really helps with making the midfield game much more important, as less than perfect touches give opportunities for turnovers.

Slowing down AI passing speed is also effective at reducing the ping pong. The AI still try passes at speed, but the error rate envelope becomes wider, especially noticeable for those players who are not natural Iniestas. The benefit of reducing AI passing speed, as opposed to AI passing accuracy, is it doesn't effect the quality of their crosses as much. You won't see them boot it out of bounds unless they are off-balance or mistime it.

If you keep tweaking I am confident you will find the balance you want, where only Barcelonas or Man Citys can string four or five first touch passes together. But it's a lot of work.
 
Whats really bothered me last couple of years is that the results in career mode doesnt reflect the real football world even the slightest.
I read somewhere on reddit when people played the beta that this issue was gonna be fixed in FIFA 19.

But now after watching some youtubers play the full version I can see that nothing has changed, sadly. This really kills the authentic feeling for me when playing career mode. I mean, not one cpu team scores more than 70 goals in the premier league, and city and chelsea ending up 7 and 8. Sure, this can happen once in a while irl but not every other seaspn.

Is anyone else bothered by this or is it just me?

Played 3 games last night and was impressed

+ slower, harder passing than demo
+ shooting more balanced
+ more error in passes and first touch
+ each match felt different
+ lots of random moments

- not enough fouls

Need to play more but think this will my footie game for the year enjoyed the demo a lot and the full game seems even better.

I really enjoy this game, the speed is perfect on slow, the variety of the shoots is good, pass error is perfect, and the IA on this level is challenging. There is a battle for the midfield. Player id for some players like Messi is really good.
When I play with Marseille it's really hard to have some shoot, because of 75-80 GEN players.

If you have a speed player like Dembele or Mbappé, you can make some nice runs, but they are realitics.
Defenders are very good, and in my 6 matchs the score was : 0-2 // 1-2 // 0-1 // 2-0 // 2-1 // 2-1

I love this game, so much better than Fifa 18.
The ball physic is good, the Pes one is better, but it's a big step foreward in the good direction.
Shoots and passes are no more scrypted, you can chose the angle, and the direction, with more curl, i really love that.

Goalkeeper are good, Mandanda made some really good stops.

I think his point is more that, if the game chooses a silly (unrealistic) time for you to kick off, you can't change it - rather than just "I feel like playing at night now and I can't, boo".

There's no reason to remove that functionality - oh hang on, I bet it's because of the Champions League license. Something about them locking it so they're always at night.

Can't think of any other reason. That's a bit shit.

the gameplay is so much more varied than PES 2019....shots cannoning off players shins, CPU AI playing in different ways.

Plus it looks so good on slow....

EA take my money!!

I see your point and yes, it's definitely going to be related to the CL license but...as long as my matches in Europe are always in the evening, which they will be, and vast majority of league and cup games in the day time, I really am not worried.

At least we wont be playing 3 away league games in a row and then 3 home league games in a row like in PES.
 
Anyone with an Xbox One who is tempted by EA Access (to get a 10-hour trial with FIFA 19 right now)...

I was under the impression that you had to pay £20 (a year's subscription) for EA Access, but I realised this morning that you can pay £4 for a month's subscription and then cancel it whenever you're done with the trial.

£4 to play FIFA 19, tonight? Take my money.

To play early on PS4, you'd need to buy the special edition versions, which are silly money - for 3-5 days early access.
