A-freakin-menGreat assessment.
We're still in a situation (and maybe always will be) where one game nails one half of things, and the other game nails the other half.
I miss the goal variety when I play PES, and all the stadia and the crowd chants (which aren't insignificant to me, they alleviate that feeling of playing in the same place over and over). But I can't get past the weightlessness this time, or that feeling of "I'm playing the difficulty level, not the team". (It'll be better with sliders, though, I'm sure.)
It all just depends on which half you love, or which half you can't bear. I don't think it's a bad game, it's personal preference.
Has there been any comment with regards to sliders in the full game or are we in the assumption zone?
I wonder why 99% play on a zoomed out camera. You miss so much detail.

They were in the beta weren't they? So I can't imagine they'd be missing from retail.

OK,the demo can not run on half of ATI graphics cards.
Many ATI players have a problem with crash .

Because to play proper football you need to see as much of the pitch as possible
I love playing on the closest camera that is available in the game. Dynamic - 0 height, 20 zoom. However, it works properly only on newly added stadiums in FIFA 16/17. On rest of them camera sliders don't work at all and it is pissing me off. Quite shameful for EA to don't get it fixed since FIFA 13?
There is something on the bottom of the screen called radar. It is very helpful.
In the past I always played with it turned off, don't like using it, I have peripheral vision for a reason, I play on a 40" monitor for a reason
Ah, so you're spending your time looking at little coloured circles, instead of at footballers. Yup that sounds much more detailedThere is something on the bottom of the screen called radar. It is very helpful.
100 %After some more matches (8 min, legendary, slow) this is my summary:
-gameplay speed is ok (similar to 16)
-AI seems a bit better than in 16
-passing % for AI is still waaaay too high (around 95%!). It will probably be somewhat better with sliders.
-still not enough fouls (fouls sliders, EA, please!)
-protect the ball by AI is overpowered (I could't push or outmuscle some small Japanese with Fellaini. No foul, too).
I'm not sure if I heard the crowd right too but I could have sworn I heard them shout "SHOOOOT" at one point in a Manchester derby. Hopefully I did because I've wanted to hear that in a game for the longest time.
It's not the lack of instantaneous passing that worries me its trying to clear the bloody ball when the super AI are on the attack. It's growing on me the more my brain forgets how the PES demo felt and gets used to FIFA's style.
The delay on passing I can kinda accept now as it does seem relevant to your players position. No more animations snapping to pass instantly or pin point wrong foot passes.
It still kinda annoys me at times where I think I've pressed pass but haven't but don't want to press against incase I set up the next pass without meaning to.

4 min halves on ps4 can go suck a dead dogs dick though.
yeah, it's smooth on ps4 that old ignite engine was taxedBTW Fifa 17 is very good to watch playing, i really like environment and no more plastic lookalike with players and everything, smooth as hell on PS4. Some bugs collision too but it's a demo.
this is why i play dynamic 0 0 but broadcast camera isn't bad either if you could zoom in more.I wonder why 99% play on a zoomed out camera. You miss so much detail.
