FIFA 17 News & Discussion Thread

Not really unless the league/cup structure can be fully modded to allow for proper English league/cup structure, with proper European cups and such, only thing that interests me in a career mode.

I know it is limited. That's why this year I could not play master league for more than a couple seasons. Even as shallow as CM is in FIFA 16 I still played it more than Master League because it offers a better challenge.

I do hope though they fix the bugs where first choice keepers are not played and new signings are not integrated into the team's first XI.

Some great gameplay bits - loads and loads of passes getting through where they'd be blocked off previously in a frustrating way - but Bayern's goals are a bit weird/worrying, as are the skating animations by the touchline around the 88-93 minute mark where two Dortmund players sort of stick to each other. But promising overall, I think.

Placebo - PES has the Premier League structure right and the Championship too, I'm sure there's play-offs now. Just no relegation (but then there isn't in FIFA from the bottom league in that, either).

It's difficult because I prefer FIFA's gameplay by miles, but the AI is a breath of fresh air in PES. The laser-guided stuff is their way of making enough chances / goals over 90 minutes, and I don't like it, but it's not "wrong", it's just the alternative to FIFA's method, which is to make defending more difficult and dribbling easier (though it feels more natural).

In my opinion, of course...

But it's worth a go if you only play the CPU.

Wow, it looks very very FAST.

But ppl Always say that's because of YouTube, so again i will Judge once i can play a demo.
Yeah at E3 it was slower than this. So hopefully it is a video capture effect. But when playing with multiple people you tend to play quicker because you want to exploit opponents reactions.

Good to hear, hoping to see some more E3 stuff on YouTube.

I saw the game today online on youtube and it's the worst thing i ever see. The gameplay still the same since 2011 the players are so confused on the Area and the freekicks are a joke.
This year i move to PES.
Thanks for FIFA 16 EA Sports. :))
Mate stop talking shite.

The fifa video looks far more realistic than pes laser guided passes and crosses without proper foot / leg movement, plus look at the ball it's free and not stuck to people feet ..I think it looks good and on slow manual it's going to be class

I actually thought this years PES was as free and fluid as it has ever been...Maybe not.

Let's be honest though, for all the talk of the AI being better in PES even on top player the game is too easy. Both games mind you I cannot count the amount of times the AI unrealistically gets caught in possession in their own half leading for a quick goal, and in the end some matches where the AI is playing laser guided football (ex. Barca, Madrid, Bayern, Arsenal) that is what you as player have to aim for in order to win games.

It's hitman you may need to use this

If you can't see the jerkiness due to compression in this video you may need to see your eye specialist. The ball speeds up and slows down which means its not truly 60fps

Defensive position isn't terrible actually. A couple of times you can see the defenders meeting the attackers right away. I do still see the defenders retreating on corner kicks though.

Ball physics in the air are more floaty as well, which is a good thing.

I'll ignore the pace of play as that is 2v2, not P1vCPU - which is what I care about.

What is problematic is how attack oriented the game looks. However, EVERY DEMO has been like that for at least 3 years now. No kind of balance until the final game

I agree 1000%!!!
Thats what i am saying every year! Slow manual will be a delight with these graphics this year!!!

Imagining this on 'slow' seems to be a solid game.
Nets seem to be ok too.

Is youtube compression really creating such a speed up?
Looks like they set it to 'fast'

put on your glasses bro cause you really need them.

posting this gameplay video after that promising trailer.

i would not even compare this to the other game.

just put your glasses on man.

after that impressive video you posted of PES 16 PC !!!

how come you don't wanna trow up after viewing this.

everything looks blurry and floaty. made me dizzy just watching it.
:CONFUSE:

It's probably just a beta version of the game. And yes, it looks more real than PES.
