this sounds like a good explanation and gives some hope.
but trying to convince me that this gameplay video looked good is just the best way you could ever try to fool yourself.

waiting for other gameplay vids to pop up.

the trailer impressed me but the gameplay video shocked me.
i really can't say that???
 
Guys, this is an important question. After FIFA 14, the custom tactics never actually worked. Is it going to be fixed in FIFA 17? I can't have all the teams play the same football. I hope someone can answer this. FIFA 15 and FIFA 16, custom tactics made no difference as the CPU played the same tactics which is tiki taka. I won't get FIFA 17 if custom tactics aren't working.
 
personally this game looks really good, misplaced passes, variation, and finally the players look good the way they move thanks to frostbite, also like the fact that players dont turn on the dime quickly, from what i saw players control the ball to turn around, thats awesome, thats what i need in the game and am now hanging to play this, that video does look fast, once this game is set up properly with the right sliders, full manual, its gonna be amazing, also games moves more free compared to previous versions, which is a good thing.

So much wrong with that video. I don't know what the difference is between the laser guided passes people claim PES to have and what I see here. Far too many heel passes and shot, for that matter, that look as if the have been laced same with outside of the foot side passes that seem to zip rather than roll.

Not impressed by that video and less impressed by the obnoxious twat sitting next to Reus "he should have shot it", have you no respect man.

I will say though the ball has better physics at times when it slows down and bobbles at a more realistic pace.

Same like last year, it doesn't work. A.I is much worse than FIFA 16, almost like FIFA 15. They are really predictable as they play the same style which is hardcoded.
 
i gotta admit love that vid, love how the nets keep moving and waving after the ball have settled on the ground inside the nets, love nets i guess they nailed it this time, and they fixed it when we saw before that it was rigid, now looks perfect, i dont know about the pace, looks a bit fast, being a PES fan, i gotta admit fifa does very attention to details for things on the pitch.
 
Putting it on slow would affect the ball speed too, but then you can always increase the pass speed and/or shot speed to hit the right balance.

It´s just ugly to watch.

I doubt that the full game will look like that.
It´s only one vid though...gotta wait for some more or wait for the beta testers experience.

Be interesting to see if all the folk saying "That's it, no Fifa for me this year" or "Same shit again, I'm out" continue updating in this thread.

My guess is they will.

I agree. Watching the footage so far, it looks more like a game of basketball than a football match.

I saw an interview where they were saying they wanted the AI to play more direct to make the game more fun, if that's the case this game is useless to me cos I really enjoy my offline, seriously disappointed.
