FIFA 17 News & Discussion Thread

This is nice, custom kits and crests FIFA Street style. Why isn't that available for online play or career mode as well?

PES is in partnership with Liverpool FC. What does this mean for FIFA 17 since the EPL is fully licensed?

And it happened again, a low hard shot from Costa yesterday. It's great marketing, EA ;) Give us the demo already.

After playing nba2k for 3-4 for years,im used to that.
I can say that Fifa is miles behind them,so is every other sportsgame

First of all,NBA isn't a sport,it's a league,second,it's a great game,and a great sport,basketball that is.
It's a huge franchise,wish that ea could learn from them how to make an interesting career mode

Gameplay trailers with 1% gameplay, arghhhhh. Even the music is a crap version of a decent song - EA, you drive me mad.

What little gameplay I've seen looks good but the career mode news (and Tom of FUThead's AI comment, pretty much confirming they all play the same way) has killed all hype for me.

If you play online though, it looks pretty good.
 
You know what I like on that video it's the lighting. PES tend to show broad daylight or night there is no dusk.

I won't forget the awe I had for playing at the Delle alpi at dusk in FIFA 10.

That's true and quite a let down, yeah.
But if the gameplay at least would stay the way as 16 I'd be ok.

FUThead mentioned a few positive things about the gameplay, didn't they?
 
Looks great graphically.
But, as mentioned by others, it's not really gameplay and the lighting looks very good.
Other than that can't really tell much from this. (as usual)

And why does everything have to go so fast. Damn, i'm a 47 yr old fart and just got motion sickness from that trailer, almost made me throw up.

Having played FIFA at EA play, I think we will be pretty happy with gameplay. Offline like in most years I feel will be empty once again. I think we are used to that by now though.

PES is looking better so hopefully that becomes a great alternative to offline career mode players.

Not really unless the league/cup structure can be fully modded to allow for proper English league/cup structure, with proper European cups and such, only thing that interests me in a career mode.

Offline is all i play, so if that is the case that would be a sad thing indeed.
I just never play online, there are just too many ppl using tricks tricks and more tricks. Not my cup of tea.

But let's wait and see, not judging until i have played it myself.
 
I saw the game today online on youtube and it's the worst thing i ever see. The gameplay still the same since 2011 the players are so confused on the Area and the freekicks are a joke.
This year i move to PES.
