Wasn't that in response to accusations the Fifa 16 AI would sometimes play it around the back a lot?

I am waiting to see the demo before I jump to any conclusions.
 
Looks like mode was given randomly. A friend says you chose when you signed up, but I would have chosen Pro Clubs to test that a bit.
I have career, he has Pro Clubs, so I'll be getting whatever info I can from him. Another friend has Clubs as well it turns out.
 
Yeah I was sent a career mode invite, made no mention of any other modes. Makes good sense considering I played maybe a handful of online matches and a kickoff or two all year.
 
Personally I don't care about early gameplay videos of FIFA..

After playing an early demo of FIFA 14 NG at EGX a few years ago and it being the best version of FIFA I ever played for only the game to be completely changed for release, makes me take anything from shows and early builds with a massive pinch of salt.

When the game is released that will be the only time I will make an actual judgement of whether the game is any good or not.
 
Jesus, there's more than one section of that video where the AI is attacking and it looks exactly like FIFA 16 on World Class, except much more direct. It's the same passes to wingers cutting inside, the same cutback pass and the same blast over the bar I've seen non-stop over the last year.

Really disappointed so far. Since Rutter gave up his position, it's been all downhill, IMO.

Has anyone gotten their beta code already? I'm feeling like I forgot to do the registration, but I don't think I forgot.
 
Someone said on the Twitter that they dumbed down the AI to make the game more end to end and direct and made the A.I less dynamic and more predictable to make sure it's more stable. I guess in the videos it shows too. Reminds me of the FIFA 07 and FIFA 08 days. Rather have stable simple AI I guess. This game is not for me as I will most likely get bored off it.
 
All we can hope for is that if EA really simplified the AI, that reviewers notice. In the end, EA evaluates product success based on metacritic reviews as well as sales, so if they've done something that stupid, we sadly have to rely on reviewers to bring down ratings.

But they'll probably just be excited by Alex Hunter.
