I use both versions. Sometimes I feel the need to change. Both are good and different.
 
Hey guys, I think I've settled on the following:

- Semi passing with pass error sliders 55 User 56 CPU
- Lowering marking to 40 to both user and CPU (I think it's the perfect balance so there is a bit more freedom to dribble, yet at the same time the pressure and the midfield battles are still there)
-1.00 version
- Legendary
- Anth's ball physics mod (what would you guys say are the main differences between version 1 and 2)?
- Normal speed
- 11 minute halves

I'm having a blast! :TU:

From what I understand, v1 is more similar to default with some improvements... V2 has a more significant change compared to default
PS:The only thing that could be improved regardless of the excellent ball physics and slides is the powerful low pass... it's always too fast for my tastes...
 
Right, I downloaded the Fitgirl repack and installed the FIFA infinity mod.

The game works fine besides 1 thing.

A lot of teams have blue and green checks where the kit numbers are meant to be? Also, sometimes the refs kit is like this?

This is the first time I've ever played on my PC so have no idea what is causing this.

Anyone know? Thanks.

Every time when i had any problem with Fifa Infinity Patch i just regenerate files again or if doesnt help i copy all patch files again to Fifa 16 folder and regenerate files. For me always works:) I use Creation Master to regenerate
 
This is happening because of the 2 things.

1. You didn't regenerate so the game read new files added
2. Missing textures from folder (for kit numbers, kitnumbers folder, and you missing some files). Or any other mod if you have the green bug.

Utterly agree with this. You cannot really pinpoint with immediate effect, what are the changes after tweaking the gameplay with mods or by adding lines in cl.ini. Everything is placebo like you mentioned.

Personnaly I decided to stick with sliders, it the best thing to do actually.

My current sliders is very interesting, mingled with Anth ball physics, I really enjoy the game right now. Even though, my game version is 1.7.

I could share it there, if requested anfnd you guys can check it out.

Second question . Why the most popular old gen games FIFA 14 or 16 dont have deep mods that change things like goal net physics, ball physics, animations or general gameplay changes? ( But they have a lot updated patches,graphics mods like kits , balls , stadiums, faces etc) Usually there are these little tweaks. As for gameplay, all mods are similar and most of the changes are placebo. Why can't these games be deeply modded in every aspect like e.g. PES21 or like @Anth James mods FC24?? Is it because the games are technically difficult/impossible to mod or is it simply that no one wants to deal with it? I was wondering...

Yeah, you named it. Old gen Games means also another Game Engine, Mate. Since FIFA 17 we are bound at the frostbite Engine. FIFA 16 a.e. is made with a different Game Engine. FC 24 can be in depth modded Gameplay wise a.e. because of the ongoing development of the Frosty Tools. Frosty Editor and Paul´s FMT are the reason. Did you ever tried to find a Gameplay section in Creation Master 16 or another FIFA 16 tool? Those GP sections are encrypted and aren´t the same Files like in Frostbite FIFA´s. Or go back to FIFA 17-19. Also Frostbite Engine based Games but the older Frosty Tools had no way to open the Gameplay section like the "GPAttribulator" starting in FIFA 20 to my knowledge. This was the first Game where that section was available through Frosty Tools.

Spot on. In previous games we edited and modded where we could. The files became accessible from FIFA 20 and has allowed us to mod in significantly more depth. I would love to have access to the 16 files, I’d be on it in a heartbeat.

you can 100% do it but it requires you being good with hex editing.
 
Does standing tackle only work in tactical defense? I changed the defense to Legacy, I use custom controller settings and I can only use pressing or pressing by the 2nd player :/
 
Currently working on a really ambitious European overhaul using FIP. I've not done everything from scratch, but I've made a format of European football competitions that operate below the Conference League for 2nd tier clubs.... Thought it would be a new interesting way of playing anyway...

injury severity? 50/50?

Oh that's interesting, I wasn't sure if it was all ready yet for playing. What database do you use? As I've used FIP, and have no idea how to use that or really make use of the limitless amount of data you can have with RFS

The default dB that comes with the software.
You can add over the top every graphical elements (scenesssets) that comes from fip, to have up to date kits etc...
 
What is the easiest way to check new gen player id ? I have young player from youth team in my career mode and i want to check his id. I use creation master 16 but i dont know which files i must load to have a list of player and id from my team in my actual save file.
 
Guys I have a doubt. I've started again FIFA 16 (v 1.0, no patches or mods of any kind) and during a replay I noticed this:

It happens a couple of times during the replay.

Has it always been like this (and maybe fixed with 1.01 or 1.02 exe) or it's something that's happening on my side (and, apparently, only lately)?
I honestly don't remember it happening but apparently I'm wrong.

Ive seen similar stuff on both console and pc like this, pretty much every fifa game up until 19 things like this happened.
The worst one was Buffon punching the ball when trying to chest it and down to my feet, he did it through my back and chest.
so yeah it happens a lot

I've seen this happen in all versions of 16 - it's not perfect when it comes to stuff like this, but it's rare in my experience (certainly far more rare than when FIFA switched to Frostbite).

Unfortunatley, every football game has a degree of clipping, just comes with the nature of 3D gaming, it'll never be flawless in this regard. But the funny thing is, a less advanced engine like ignite has far less problems in this area compared to something that should be more progressive 10 years into the future such as Frostbite/Hyper motion where the basics of modelling/animations have somehow regressed so severely that the issues are so frequent.
