@JochemLFC really strange, I could've sworn I managed to SIM three entire seasons without crashing with a expanded EFL trophy, and additional cup, but now I can't seem to get it working, so I'm giving up and using the stock FIP UEFA B file.
 
I have a bug in the Bundesliga scoreboard, when the team is colored white, it does not appear on the scoreboard, example: Bayern red uniform vs Mainz white uniform, Mainz does not appear on the scoreboard, everything is white, and that happens with all teams of the Bundesliga when the uniform is white.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Change the kit colours in CM16.

You can change it to light grey or change it to another kit color.

The thing with db and dlc editing is that you should always make back-ups everytime you have tested your edited db’s in fifa. With FIP version manager you have an easy tool to make back-ups.

If you exceed the data limit, never start a career with a pre season tournament. Your fifa will always crash then.

I’m currently building the new UEFA European League system in fifa 16. It was a hell of a job but I’m nearly there.

since I installed fip 7.2 and selected any Bundesliga team the game stops just before kick-off during the last animation when the referee puts the ball in midfield and when the substitution animation starts. nothing happens with the other championships, I assume it's some file relating to the Bundes
Do any of you have this problem in chaos how to solve? Thank you

I just noticed if you use the right stick on offensive corner kick you can control the receiver instead of the kc taker.
Also on penalty kick, the left stick controls the eyes direction of the penalty taker. It is very visible on replay.

Yes this one had off ball controls like PES. Did EA manage to remove this feature also in their recent games?
 
I don't know if anyone needs this information but for the past 6 or more months FIFA16 wouldn't load on the series (both S and X) consoles. A few updates ago it got fixed in case you want to jump back in.

On another note... after playing and fidgeting with FIFA22/23/24, changing stuff, mods, etc, then just loading this and its such a breath of fresh air. even on v1.07 I had some great games.

As much as I liked 17, I found that a real problem with the CPU being well-balanced but terrifically boring when losing because it would continue to make the same errors and Cambridge United were just a slower Man City. 18 didn't seem to have any team/player ID that made sense for me (Arsenal would play the same as Spurs regardless of how you switched the players around - there was no allowance if you subbed in an all weak left-side of the field for example.) Lastly, I find 16 and 19 are the only FIFA titles I can play where I don't feel cheated by circumstance when it suits the CPU. If a goal occurs, it's mostly down to my bad decisions to prevent it rather than it being impossible to prevent.

It depends what you want, the Operation Sports final slider set for FIFA 19 is great if you want it more geared to a sim but to me that can be a bit sluggish. FIFA 19 was one of the few FIFA titles where the default sliders work great for almost everything. The only changes I make, because I play full manual/FUMA, is to change shot and pass error for the User to 0 because I don't want any random influence on the ball, just pure human input. It doesn't make passing too easy because unlike the later titles, FUMA on 19 is actually fully manual and you have to be good with your passing.

No, for whatever reason, and this has been a mystery since FIFA 19, the game has the most crisp HD graphics of any FIFA title since. On the Series X and even my entry level laptop it's still incredible.
 
Hello there, can i ask someone help. I've been trying to install and play FIFA 16 Classic Patch. I played 2002 FIFA World Cup recreate and played two matches. Then once i exit the mode, it acutomatically crash afterwards. And when i try to go back and relaunch it again, it once automatically crashes in menu mode then close it self. Is there any help? Thanks for you your time!

Hello guys, i am playing an FIFA 16 with Euro 2024. But does anybody of you know if there any mod that allows game to be played CPU vs CPU. I tried to look everyone, but i found nowhere to be seen. Let me know!

This is by far the best gameplay I have played since the game came out in 2016.

I had many different games and also had one were the pc and I hit the bar/post 6times in one match haha.

I never experienced this with fifa 16, another reason to keep playing fifa 16 !!

For me it is, but you have to test it for yourself if it’s that much of a change for you. Don’t forget to back up you own files first of course.

I've tried a few strings (inside cl.ini) related to gameplay in the past, I didn't like the changes or it's just a complete placebo. I prefer not to add or tweak strings as I don't believe in them, most of them don't even work as far as I know and felt in my opinion. Anyway, I'm still rocking v1.00 Default with Anth's ball physics tweak, nothing else. I'm enjoying it. :)

You could try some GP mods like this. Let me know what you think, good luck and have fun, mate! 👍 :)
 
@DevPlays Thanks man! As always you are a great source for classic FIFA information! :)

I decided to keep the V1.00 Vanilla, playing with slight slider tweaks and Anth's ball physics mod, and I'm really enjoying it as well! I think Legendary is where FIFA 16 shines best in terms of gameplay variety! (I usually play on World Class in other FIFAs). Great recommendation to stick with V1.00 and Anth's ball physics mod. :)

On a completely unrelated note, does anyone know if Japanese commentary is available for PC? I found a language pack with many other languages but not Japanese yet..

Hi, I agree with you about the strings... after many tests, the ones that are useful and working are the real ones. Cheating of the CPU and those relating to game time to make players get more tired compared to default... v1.00 apartment seems easier but it is not but it is the version better in terms of gameplay balance and team differentiation... which version of ball physics do you use? options 1 or 2?
