It's definitely close to awesome, but the 'killer' for me will be 14's largest flaw - your teammates awareness. Basically, when you play the CPU, your teammates AI seems to take a serious hit. I see it manifesting in a few ways:

1. Your attackers will not use runs that open up passing lanes. In fact, they seem to deliberately stay either offside or behind their marker, just perfectly out of range for you

2. Your teammates make no attempt to pick up the ball if you win it. Especially in midfield, I find I often nick the ball away right near by teammate, but they stand there as if the ball remains a mystery to them

3. On defense, your 'support' player stands in ways that make no sense. For example, I often control my DMF when the CPU takes it wide with their winger, and call support from my FB. As we approach the touchline, my FB handily blocks the wingers ability to run out of bounds, but doesn't stand in the way of a cross.

All of these things are most apparent playing the CPU, and I guess I understand that EA don't really want that to happen, so they're not bothered. But it's pretty annoying, because the AI routines are clearly there - when you have the ball 2 defenders will happily close you down and both try and tackle you. But there is no mechanism to do that as a human.
 
Agreed also on world class the ai starts passing inch perfect passes especially that 15 yard heel that makes me cringe . I am now stuck on being too good to go lower than world class but the world class and legendary difficulty is a scripted mess.

Lower the CPU's pass accuracy and first touch.
 
Hi Guys, so I downloaded the Fifa 15 demo for PC and I got a few questions and thoughts since I didn't play Fifa for many years.

1. Does the keeper parry balls into the paths of attackers often for you? It seems for me...and I am very annoyed by it...

2. Does your players come up injured very often? I always had at least 1 player injured in all my matches so far, either on my side or the cpu.

3. how do you find the animation of the keeper diving backwards and saving a shot or header? It just seems so unreal to me...I don't think I ever seen a keeper done that IRL. Its different from arching backwards to tip a ball over the crossbar. If you play the demo often enough, I'm sure you have spotten it.

4. I'm using an i3-2100 with 6850, 1080 on Low without MSAA, lock to 60 fps and I get stutters and sudden freezes, anyone with similar specs experiencing a similar thing?

5. Team defending AI: beachryan above mentioned it, there are too many instances of non human controlled players idling when near a CPU ball carrier. I understand there is team pressing but even that doesn't work so well..

6. finally, for sliders, just to confirm, sliding it to the left lowers the CPU/User ability and vice versa? Or its contextual, for example for user/cpu shot and pass error sliders, sliding it to the right increases the error. Whereas for shot and pass speed, sliding it to the left decreases the shot and passing speed

That's my issue too professional is too easy the AI wouldn't score evn if I let them it's 0-0 or whatever I score -0.
But world class or legendary are crazy it seems as soon as you get the ball the whole AI is in defence immediately and your players don't try and make runs I refuse to use tricks etc.

Do enjoy the AI tackling and giving away fouls tho and the yellow and red cards are a welcome return.

Will wait for full release to mess with sliders to try and make world class or legendary playable

Yes the sliders are contextual, just as in your examples.

Adjusting sliders are a great way to change the difficulty without making a global switch with PRO/WC/Leg.

1. I find that quite rare myself.
2. Are you using the PC time extender? If so, then yes. But that is a limitation of the time extender.
3. Good point. I would like Tim Howard's input on this.
5. Keep playing with the custom tactics. Although I found on higher difficulty levels my team's AI were not as competent as on Pro.

Yeah the passing accuracy is not the only thing that gets nerfed.

The AI is just allround better. They can slide tackle and pull you back to dispossess you in almost an instant and even seem faster.

The goalkeepers on the other hand go back to brunt super human except for your keeper who dives past straight shots. I played Liverpool with barca and they beat me 3-0 with Lambert running my defence amock the game left me with a bitter taste and the 2-0 revenge I got after was not good enough for me as I had to go for counter attacking gameplan

I played quite a few games yesterday and my team-mate's lack of awareness was one of the main things that was really obvious. Too often they just ignore the ball that's within a couple of yards, and too often you can't switch to that player....all too reminiscent of PES. That and the fact that the cpu players clearly don't play to stats and half the time they over-ride the sliders too.

We're still a long way away from having a cpu opponent that feels natural, varied and doesn't cheat.....again, all too reminiscent of PES. But in FIFA14, I invariably played with lower league teams and enjoyed that much more, so expect the same with 15.

I' still impressed with the randomness of events and there are plenty of new things which happen now which I'd not seen in previous editions, particularly in and around the box.

True and even more annoying is the animation of keeper diving forward to pick up the loose ball; it is superman speed animation!
 
Slow speed should be normal speed.
Shots and volley are OP.
Body players look like peter crouch,aguero body seems di maria body
New passing is ok.
Graphics ,animations, crowd, commentaries and stadium atmosphere are awesome.
 
Mignolet hacked me down last night when through on goal and got a red. Was awesome just as he slid in i nudged over a little and he missed the ball and wiped me out.

The fouls etc from the AI too are superb at least it should make offline a bit more interesting.
 
On normal the game is too fast. I play on slow and i want to be a liitle bit slower.

But i thnk its a general problem of the game dribbling.

This and of course the awful player models.
 
Tip for PS4 users:if fifa doesn't look appropriate on the screen (scoreboard & logo position ) go to settings-sound and screen-display area then shrink it all the way down.
 
Its a shame fifa will always shy away from setting the game speed to what always feels be be slower slider for more realsitic feel, had the same in 14/13. I know they have to balance to younger players and online, but it always means online will be normal speed (fast for many) which put me off.

I did post in official placed about setting custom searches to include speed setting for a game, but I then found out fast that unless you left it all default and played about 6 main cliche' teams you never found a player ... and thus, gave up online completely.

would be nice to see some change in that area but I doubt thats ever going to happen which is a shame.
