Actually it is not so much the fault of the ExecutivesSorry mate I couldn't hear you over the sound of pachinko machines
Ding ding ding. This is the correct answer.
Oh they do care. They absolutely care......about mobile and myclub. Wait it's called dream team now right? I can't keep up lol
They should just have gone full arcade. Like super mega baseball. That would be better than pretending to resemble real football.
As far as the younger generation is concerned, this is really all they know, so they don't really know any better. I blame the executives who decided to introduce a gambling mode to children. It's insidious the way they've managed to normalize constantly paying for a game you've already purchased. 2K is the most notorious for this.

Most of the blame lies with us, the gamers themselves.
There are currently few offline games that are sad
People got used to virtual casinos, they reached the point of not criticizing the playability and the optimization of the games, things that were the main thing in the heavy decades
In short, money commands and decides
I think about this often. I honestly think that the time is perfect for a true gameplay shift - myClub and FUT have had the same core gameplay focus for years (pick-up-and-play, 1v1, getting dumber and dumber). For the target demographic, as Chris said, aka the younger generation my point was and will always be they haven't known gaming to be anything else. So yes I will blame the people in charge and not them. If you've spent your life in a cave, you don't know what the sun feels like. If you've only been playing games in the 2010s and primarily been doing so on mobile, then you don't know what full fleshing out gaming experiences, now the experiences of old, feel like.
Same for me. The guide is 5 years old. They might have changed somethingIt does not work. When downloading a log of errors is shown and download is stopped.

What baffels me is, they keep updating settings.exe when new patch comes out and yet keep locking resolution options. I dont get it, is it really that hard to give native resolution for PC ?Not only poor gameplay and content is what bothers me, also the fact that they seem to have to start making new modes like the offline modes from zero at this time in the game’s lifespan
It is all progressing so incredibly slow and not forget they took a year and a half break to focus and “next gen”
Anyway “Kalulu got his facescan” so we can all be happy now, right? 😉

I honestly think if suddenly they had hyper-realistic gameplay, and there was a new kind of skill-gap that was based on reality (i.e. not just focusing on the 1v1 battles but the team battles, having to learn where your weak links are, having to do sensible passes with poor players and only using the "through-pass" button with someone who stands a chance of hitting a decent pass)...
I genuinely think it would be such a breath of fresh air that everyone would say "why the hell have we been playing cartoon football for years when we could have had this".
Or, maybe I'm being naïve. Both real possibilities.
I tried this method and the github depotdownloader app method and receive the same error
I sussed out how to get old versions from Steam for the PC version, well, I did a few weeks ago. Quite a bit involved, but if anyone or enough people want me to detail it, i.e. I will try again this weekend and note what I had to do, I will write up a detailed guide.
Luckily, with eFootball Steam allows you to still use the older versions, it doesn't force an auto-update.
I liked it before the update. This update is disgusting. And you can't even reverse to previous ve3rsions. I tried all possible waysHorrible gameplay update. Its somehow even worse than it was if thats possible.
Did'nt work. It just redownloaded last versionI tried this method and the github depotdownloader app method and receive the same error
Depot download failed : missing encryption key for depotID 1673169 (Blocked)
Using app branch: 'Public'.
Got depot key for 1673169 result: Blocked
Changing depotid from 1673169 to 1665461 make it download something (but that might be the first version...I don't know).
No it's downloading something
Anyway thanks to @majorpain

I hear a "big update" is scheduled for next month. Is that what we're going with right now?
Always gotta give it a go for yourself. Always.
I see what you're saying but what you describe, for me, just gets exhausting with the AI. I appreciate some urgency and challenge but because of how much faster they made everything it's just relentless and unenjoyable for me.What I do like (and appreciate mileage will vary from person to person) is the urgency, and just overall aggressive and arsehole-y way in which the AI can play, though that is not to say that they never take their foot of the gas a bit in possession, as they do in my experience; nice ebb n' flow, really.
They properly get in about it and although the collision system needs work regards variety I actually rather like that bullying and combative sensation when in a tight situation.
it's pointless and frustrating. It keeps downloading the last exe no matter whicj manifest you choose.try this:
no guarantee, as I am downloading it now and it is the full 38gb game so takes at least 3 hours for me
type in any browser:
steam://nav/console
it wil ask to open bootsrap. do it. in the line at the bottom insert:
download_depot 1665460 1665461 [6778849528683932961] [<delta manifestid>] [<depot flags filter>] : download a single depot
this for 2.0
download_depot 1665460 1665461 [2788874957453238008] [<delta manifestid>] [<depot flags filter>] : download a single depot
this for 0.1
or any of these:

Agree. And with -1 speed you lose a lot of dynamics. This year was not needed to play -1. Game was okI see what you're saying but what you describe, for me, just gets exhausting with the AI. I see what you mean. But you can't keep a ball, protect it and enjoyably think and build up as beforeThis.
I play with a more traditional and zoomed in cam and just found it all rather okay going, to be honest. The more I play this the more retro feeling a game it is, and don't have a huge issue with that, especially seeing as I currently rather enjoy FIFA too if I want a more high-tech offering.
What I do like (and appreciate mileage will vary from person to person) is the urgency, and just overall aggressive and arsehole-y way in which the AI can play, though that is not to say that they never take their foot of the gas a bit in possession, as they do in my experience; nice ebb n' flow, really.
