You make a good point but I disagree with F2P not being a problem. Konami have done this so everyone migrates to myClub and is forced to play online. They want us to download the game ASAP as it won’t cost us a dime and then get hooked on that disgusting fantasy game mode where kids enjoy having a front 3 of Maradona, Neymar and Usain Bolt - all bought using dad’s credit card.
And then they ALL use Klopp’s 433 system completely bypassing the midfield. It’s turgid rubbish.
Also, PES has been awful online since I can remember. Their cheap ass server always takes an age to find a player and when you do, it’s usually laggy - and the game is already too heavy and awkward anyway, so adding lag to an already sluggish game where the players turn like tanks is frustrating to say the least.
We are being forced to play it online - unless you are happy playing exhibition games until Master League arrives in 2022.
I am convinced you won't be able to get super star players this easily any more. One thing Konami is really good at is monetization. If they hand out the best players such easily like in current MyClub - there won't be a lot of coin sales after 1 year of service because everyone already has 100+ rated players. Since there will no longer be a reset, the progress to get better players must be a lot steeper - even for coin buyers. Or they will introduce seasons and you lose all players every year - but I don't think this will go well with the player base.
