eFootball (All Platforms)

Their goal is to make efootball the greatest e-sports game out yet every official tournament is played on PA3. The person which made that decision was thinking market
As I understand it, the "eFootball.pro" tournament is limited to PA1. Though of course as a general trend, the esports part of PES has normally welcomed/encouraged high PA settings. I still think FUMA for pro games would back the most interesting matches that might actually be watchable. Eh.

Am I the only one beginning to feel a tad annoyed by all these memes and out of context pictures that are supposed to be funny (even though more often than not, they are not funny at all)?.

Please let me know, so I can try to work on myself, if I am indeed the only one.

No you're not. It's devolved into a low-effort, shit posting classroom at a high school.

Well you are right, but all that is Konami's fault. Just look around, everything about this game comes out in the worst possible way. And the only thing we have at the moment to waste our time until the end of the month are … stupid memes, otherwise, things look pretty depressing, because Konami can't offer anything better.

We are old.

I ask the 10 year olds about PES going f2p and they are all excited. It made me realize that we are the ones becoming old and out of touch with modern gaming.

Sad times.

They will start making memes too if their parents don't trust them with their CC.
PES parents do the responsible thing and don't let your children buy packs or spin balls or whatever. 😅

I thought EA was gonna copy fortnite's thing where they show you what's in a pack before you buy it and it resets every day or something.

One of the best things about older PES’s AI, was the fact that at one point the game will get so intense that you’ll completely forget to check the clock and see how much time left
completly agree! can't remember the number of nights I spend playing pes on my ps2. today I can't play those games becouse I feel boring of the mechanics and all the stuff of the gameplay. bad thing in previous titles even newer ones is that I played those games a lot and that makes them boring to me, even with newest transfers and stuff. yeah those games remind us how good ai can be in football game but probably that will only be in our memories. that's why I started to look for sarisfaction in other games (playing fifa 21 now) becouse they are much more complex to master them, that doesn't mean better but keeps me occupied.

You should find a middle ground and play Fifa16. New enough to have decent gameplay mechanics and looks - old enough to have great AI.
Im almost finishing second CM season and cant stop playing it

I play fifa 16 from time to time just to change the feeling I described above but sadly for me even fifa 16 is in that category. yeah variety is there, good mechanics and stuff but I get bored after 2-3 days becouse I played fifa 16 a lot back in a day and have awesome times with it. remember my man utd carrer lasted 7 seasons, awesome times but today I feel like I played the hell out of it and get bored after some time.
I think all of us have some nostalgia for older games and want to play them from time to time but that and compairing them to newer titles take the focus and we actually can't enjoy and give some time on newer titles. as an example, bought fifa 21 around new year period and can't play it becouse of the issues the game have, tried maybe 4-5 times to learn how the game works, how to defend but after short time I gave up. In the last few days i said to my self that I will learn how to defend properly becouse I like challenges and belive me, defending in fifa 21 is real challenge on higher difficulty! I am learning it more and more and find it satisfying. the game has good stuff inside it that deserve a chance, sruff that we haven't seen in any previous football game. can't deny that that game has issues but I think you get my point here :)

Let's face it! All the "new" gameplay mechanics and button mapping, most are copied from FIFA ! Running with R2, everything new in defense is completely copied from FIFA, ball shielding, etc. Even the terrible "Shots" from the NFG feels and looks like FIFA game. 90% of the "new" things in eF are made to please FIFA fans, not PES fans. This year, Konami are making FIFA bootleg F2P game, hoping that those addicted to UT and microtransactions will also agree to try eF.
Yes, of course it's a stupid plan, but this year everything Konami is doing is stupid.

That's laughable.
PES introduced the through-ball and soon after Fifa implemented as well. Good things should be copied. Ball shielding and using an analog stick to set the walking speed to any value between 0% and 100% just makes sense.

The more I read here, the more I think most veterans grew old, bitter and fear change. They are like the Simpsons' meme "Am I out of touch? No it's the younger generation that's out of touch!".

I play PES since ISS and then followed by winning eleven 1. But even I can see that free2play is the future.

If you REALLY that PES veteran too, you should know better that .. PES has change a lot over the years. Especially during the PS3 era, almost every year we had a whole new mechanics and gameplay we had to get used to because Konami decided to make major changes, and failed. That's why the majority of PES fans are not happy because … this is not new, we have already been through this .

I bet most of us would love changes. Just not crappy ones. Unfortunately, "new" for the sake of new isn't still a synonim for "better" in the vocabulary.

If that's the level of the discussion I already miss the cheap memes, anyway. lol
