The point was the fact that they do a good job explaining new moves/gameplay changes etc, which some people may have not seen. The videos actually look good and some of this stuff makes me want to reinstall the game.
I agree the lack of offline stuff is infuriating... its the reason i uninstalled the game in the first place.. that and the fact that the game on pc is so poorly optimised and not smooth for me (i need atleast 60fps in all screen modes). Cant play a footy game that doenst have smooth fps.
 
Ok some of my thoughts…
What the big difference in v1.0.0 from v0.9.0? This is playable. No more no less.
The are was some big announcements from Konami just to make noise …exp ? Individual instructions! I big fake news . Individual instructions is to give instructions to all off your players to execute moves in the same tactic at the same time in order to defend or to succeed a goal . All your players not one . Exp I can’t find a way to tell both of my WB to go forward in my first attack option I can tell only at one .
This game I found more a arcade soccer game than a sim. Tactic has minimum or none effect to your game .
Pick stronger team or some strong players and you shall prevail. Even in pes 21 was some moments the called on soccer momentum that goal it was visible that is coming . From time to time during the game this moment was very visible. Here nothing happens. The only change that I saw in tactic approache of the AI ? If you are two goals up and is around 75min is more possible to score some more than to concede . all almost AI players goes up frond . It was a moment that was no player in his own team’s half !!!!!!!
This is not a nextgen game , no new ideas some few new animations and less very less soccer approach. THE FOCUS HERE IS VERY VISIBLE ONCE MORE ONLINE GAME NO VS AI BUT PVP.
This is the 50% of the players . What not 50 ? Ok 80% are we ok with that ? the other 20% ? The players who loves to play vs AI ? This game is not build wisely is builded just for cash . Not for fun at least not focused for the PES funs until last year but for mobiles players .
is just playable to me . Nothing more .

Even if it is, I think it is refreshing in terms of gameplay compared to pes 2021
I see the AI do some surprising things, eg take a quick free kick and score directly out of it
And the way players can change direction is way smoother than in PES 2021

So we went from complaining about scripting (that "a goal has to come to spice things up and this is what will happen no-matter-what" feeling) to complaining about... Its absence?
What should Konami do in your opinion?

On a different note, if Dream Team is the main mode of the game... I see why they decided to use a "stronger team usually wins" approach. You can't really blame them.
 
And something about faces expression. Beat them kill them laught at them the face will be with no expression. They look like Putin .

Well is how we see soccer. First let’s take what I said . I said that this version is playable. So when we play something cause we can we want to have fun of it.
now we have to categories on that : the one who just want to run dribble and score more than concede meaning arcade to me
And the other who want to play with a less strong team trap the opponent and kill him in a counter attack or something like that . Something like real life .
Except if you believe that a less stronger team with less fast players or less quality players can never win a soccer game . What I tell here ? Pes21 was better on AI not only at individual manner but it tactic approach.

And to add something to my previous comment …..I say that Konami should not stay at only giving some more modes and make face expressions and day lights or graphics and individual signature more accurate and more funcy but have to give and the required principle of soccer approach in a game . What is the fundamental principle of soccer ? Dribble ? Speed ? Strength? No that are elements the principle is tactic . So it’s a playable game with just elements no principle at all. To me . Perhaps only to me.

Of course I hope offline modes get some love... But I'm not sure they will. 😟
And it's a shame, because I've been playing some offline Dream Team matches in the past couple of days (I know, I know... I shouldn't have done so) and (despite it having some faults and shortcomings) I think that this game has potential, gameplay wise.
I can only imagine how this would become if...
  • A proper (even paid for, if the price is reasonable) Master League DLC gets released
  • Modding is introduced (and I don't mean option files, I mean something à la Sider)

They have stated in a recent tweet that they are working on ML and other offline/coop content.

I enjoy playing legend difficulty but the first goal just highlight the legacy issue that plague pes for a very long time even on the hardest difficulty. The A.I defender just stopped tracking my striker and let an easy goal. Something is broken in there and we need to let them know
 
I finally decided to play the online event after day's of playing the A.i offering. Pleasantly surprised with how much fun I had considering I'm strictly an offline player for the most part.

Had an excellent connection in all matches & I held my own against a team stacked with legends & 5 star players. You really can outsmart these guys with good defending & clever football.

This game definitely has a lot of promise, I'm enjoying the whole concept of dream team & looking forward to what comes this week.

I'd like to see some of this dream team stuff in ML.
 
I save everyone a ton of money. Playing over 15 hours with both in the middle together, Riqui Puig > Gavi. Even if Gavi has 5+ overall and "6 years" on Puig to develop.

I approve this game, i have probably could pull this off as a 0-0, perhaps scoring one from a set piece and win it but i had almost zero chance to get my possession style of play over their final 3rd. However i was able to defend 18 of their 21 shots. Made 2 mistakes under this pressure, so they scored 2 in the beginning of the second half and for the last 10 min i went from defensive to all out attack so i got a 3rd under a counter. Felt totally deserved. Never felt cheated or anything, the dude's players were simply better. But im pretty sure with good tactics you can match up against any team in this game.
