Can you imagine having paid €40 for this, like some have? Seriously?

What's the point in having card packs for a game that isn't going to be genuinely playable for a VERY long time, if ever?

"Demo-like experience" was such an understatement. Even "beta-like" experience would be over-promising. This is a disaster.
 
There is something different about just a generic PES release during the past 8 years for games i just simply...find dull, boring, simple, way too arcadey, unpolished....AND between this fucking turd. I havent had such a great release, first time i read all the pages i missed during sleep, every second comment cracks me up. :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: BEST RELEASE FOR A WHILE!!!

This in... on ANOTHER WHOLE DIMENSION OF TERRIBLE than what I expected. I expected a rough but functional game, honestly. Potential for the future.

There is no future. This landed dead in the water. It's just unredeemable right from the base.

PES truly is dead...
 
I will not even bother to download it (playing PES for almost 20 years) .... i will buy PS5 next week and FIFA 22 with sliders.

I was counting on that from moment I heard "cross-platform" ... only thing you need to know 3 months ago.

I will be joining you tomorrow to pick up my disc copy of fifa22.I take solace that atleast ea are serving up something that does a great job of simulating modern football.A new benchmark interms of AI and using modern technology.

I don’t think ea next gen offering helps.If anything it only amplifies the gulf between the the new and the old.It also has all the elements that made PES great once.

I just played around 10 matches of eFootball on PC.
-Yeah, the graphics are terrible, BUT the lighting is quite nice. The resolution and no anti-aliasing makes the game looks like a PSP game.

I quite like the game. I can see the potential and the innovation there.
Let me say some positives.
+ Controlling and mastering R2 trigger gives a lot of freedom to dribble and confuse the opponent. Its hard not to press the button all the way down, but if you focus and experiment with it, it is rewarding.
The positives:
+ Ball feels like a separate entity, and rolls nicely. Pes 20/21 ball's physics was somewhat like a bowling ball sometimes.
+ I liked a lot the goalkeeper deflections
+ Nice player models!
+ A lots of animation and (thank god) animation transitions are added! Movement is much smoother
+ Pace is gorgeous, i think its the best i have seen in a soccer game.
+ I liked the standing tackle, but the unpolished collisions make it look bad and unrealistic sometimes
+ I liked the dribbling and the smoothness of the movement
+ Nice momentum/inertia implementation
+ Shooting is fine, nothing special, but not bad. Low shots are good, try them
+ Overall freedom and smoothness.

The negatives i noticed are (apart from graphics):
-Collisions need to be polished... a lot...(tons of bugs)
-L2 in defending needs to be nerfed
-Some awareness issues (players let the ball pass by them)
-Lot of bugs regarding

To sum it up.
eFootball has somewhat a new approach to soccer. It rewards more tactical, slow gameplay. If you are prone to glue the R2 down and constantly and pass/shoot, you will disappointed. To me it's a step forward to simulation.
PLEASE, really please, give some constructive criticism as feedback to konami and not phrases like "Its shit, its a turd"
Try to see behind the bad graphics, focus on the new elements of gameplay.
I know that PES 20/21 is very familiar to you and you are very accustomed to its style and flaws. Animation and controlling players in PES 20/21 is too stiff and heavy.
efootball 2022 gave me some PES 2014 vibes where a tons of potential was burried due to some pure execution.

So, again, please, give efootball some time, try to unlearn the approach of PES 20/21, and above all give some constructive criticism back to KONAMI.

Don't get me wrong, i don't say that efootball at its current state is good, but it is way far from "utterly shit, turd, abomination".



PS: Remember how advanced and next gen was PES 2014 in many aspects (physics, lighting, ball, animations) and after the bad reviews and negative criticism, KONAMI released PES 2015 which was a more playable, but clearly mutilated and more linear old gen game.

Actually I agree with this, the gameplay itself feels good & more realistic than the previous game. The pace of the game is spot on, if you like to build up slowly & wait for your teammates to join the attack you'll like this game. It's not for people who like to spam L1+triangle or sprint & cross.
Everything else other than the gameplay sucks though. The graphics are awful, presentation is poor, and some controls are not intuitive.
 
"Shit-fest experience" sounds more legit then "demo-like".
No wonder they made it F2P, but I think it should Pay Me To Play and pay me a lot.
They butchered the game without any shame or regret. We should make a petition to hold them accountable in the court for such brutal murder of the best football game...

Same here, the gameplay is not bad, it has potential.

The state of the build they released is bad though...
 
They need to back to FoxEngine and upgrade that, for fuck sake PES 16 on PS4 have better graphics of this and 100x better gameplay without frame dropping
 
Why did you guys expect? You have eyes, ears and a brain. Everything you’ve seen and experienced clearly pointed to a title that was going to be utter garbage. I’m amazed some of you spent the time to even download it. I’m glad you didn’t pay for anything.
