WOW... I'm... WOW... it's pure crap... I know its sounds.. like always every year and every time but .. guys BETA was better !!!!??
It's way more responsive, slow, the physical defense button was not that STUPID ridiculously OP ... better gameplay overall.

I Will not say more, I read 10 pages! You all are spot on, I don't want to repeat the same impression that you have, it's just a bad mobile game.

*THIS POST WILL RECEIVE A LOT OF DISLIKES*

I just played around 10 matches of eFootball on PC.
-Yeah, the graphics are terrible, BUT the lighting is quite nice. The resolution and no anti-aliasing makes the game looks like a PSP game.
-Crowd looks very low quality, indeed.
-Net physics are just non existent.
-Turf texture is bad, or at least it looks bad due to resolution problems
-Yes, there is a 60FPS cap on pc, which kills the smoothness

But about gameplay....

I quite like the game. I can see the potential and the innovation there.
Let me say some positives.
+ Controlling and mastering R2 trigger gives a lot of freedom to dribble and confuse the opponent. Its hard not to press the button all the way down, but if you focus and experiment with it, it is rewarding.
The positives:
+ Ball feels like a separate entity, and rolls nicely. Pes 20/21 ball's physics was somewhat like a bowling ball sometimes.
+ I liked a lot the goalkeeper deflections
+ Nice player models!
+ A lots of animation and (thank god) animation transitions are added! Movement is much smoother
+ Pace is gorgeous, i think its the best i have seen in a soccer game.
+ I liked the standing tackle, but the unpolished collisions make it look bad and unrealistic sometimes
+ I liked the dribbling and the smoothness of the movement
+ Nice momentum/inertia implementation
+ Shooting is fine, nothing special, but not bad. Low shots are good, try them
+ Overall freedom and smoothness.
+ CPU dribbles with the ball!!! FInally! its not a pass fest anymore!

The negatives i noticed are (apart from graphics):
-Collisions need to be polished... a lot...(tons of bugs)
-L2 in defending needs to be nerfed
-Some awareness issues (players let the ball pass by them)
-Lot of bugs regarding

To sum it up.
eFootball has somewhat a new approach to soccer. It rewards more tactical, slow gameplay. If you are prone to glue the R2 down and constantly and pass/shoot, you will disappointed. To me it's a step forward to simulation.
PLEASE, really please, give some constructive criticism as feedback to konami and not phrases like "Its shit, its a turd"
Try to see behind the bad graphics, focus on the new elements of gameplay.
I know that PES 20/21 is very familiar to you and you are very accustomed to its style and flaws. Animation and controlling players in PES 20/21 is too stiff and heavy.
efootball 2022 gave me some PES 2014 vibes where a tons of potential was burried due to some pure execution.

So, again, please, give efootball some time, try to unlearn the approach of PES 20/21, and above all give some constructive criticism back to KONAMI.

Don't get me wrong, i don't say that efootball at its current state is good, but it is way far from "utterly shit, turd, abomination".



PS: Remember how advanced and next gen was PES 2014 in many aspects (physics, lighting, ball, animations) and after the bad reviews and negative criticism, KONAMI released PES 2015 which was a more playable, but clearly mutilated and more linear old gen game.

What people expected really? The game is made to be cross played with mobile devices, I said before and Il say again, the mobile platform is the lead version of the game now.

The home console version has to be adjusted to be able to function with the mobile one on cross play.

This results in a game that has no place being released on home consoles ( what a shocker!).

I’ll stand by my recent comments, in a few years from now Konami will abandon home consoles releases altogether focusing only on a mobile version of the game. The future of the series is pretty obvious.

Someone needs to drop Konami a memo..I just cant see anyone playing this except those that are completely new to football games or just want something that works on the most basic level..

Its like something from 2008 and work on this game needs to be canned immediately.

Not even the most diehard pes fan will surely be able to offer a crumb of positivity here.

How can anyone have any believe anymore in this firm or any sense of conviction that this isn’t going to end up anything but another polished turd.

Even Pes21 is light years ahead of this.
 
Settings.exe does not recognize my gamepad, in PES 2021 it is working normal...

questions:
Settings: can’t seem to choose my default resolution (on PC): 3440x1440. If I choose full-Screen, there is a title bar seen at all times?
Capped at 60 fps?
How do i deactivate this white circle around the players? Thought I was supposed to be able to turn that off?
How do I change tactics (4-3-3 to 3-4-3 for example?
 
My biggest surprise in all of this is the amount of folk surprised how bad it is at release. The pics of the crowd and close ups of players is truly comical. The game is an absolute disaster but we knew that the moment we saw the Alpha/Beta crap months ago? Glad I’ve not given those clowns a download stat.

RIP our glorious game.

Quoting myself, not that I'm trying to prove something, it's more to show all other pes/konami delusional believers that are still out there for some reasons that it's about time to wake the f... up, move on, forget about that bs, will be hard at the beginning, but you will be more in peace quite soon, time is a bliss, don't waste your energy and time, let them die, let them be forgotten. Some things have to end so that new things can be born, you will find a new habit, a new inspiration.

What the hell!? The LOD during gameplay camera is downgraded! The cloth wrinkles dont move, cloth physics dont work during gameplay.

Why did the downgrade it if LODs were fine since PES 2014 to 2021?
 
I came here to say - NOW can we let go? NOW can we let PES rest in peace? Please?

Because after a two year break and countless promises, they have delivered the worst game (even the worst "demo") they have ever produced. This isn't the same team, and PES will never come back.

But I see that even now, some continue to defend them and hold out hope.

We really will (as a community) never let go, will we? We deserve everything we get at this point.

Yes, I'm angry. At Konami more than anything, but Jesus Christ, we can't support this, guys. They're taking us all for fools.

Mate, You are saying that this is like 14 over again & it's just buggy. But you're missing the whole point. 14 was meant to be a serious football game, this is meant to be a f2p mobile game for e-sports and a new crowd. It makes all the difference.

With that said here's my constructive criticism to Konami:

A game should be a game. Responsive, fast & furious and with plenty of goals. And the skill gap should be in crazy fast finger movement. Hope they'll listen.
 
KONAMI - Give your exclusive licence back to EA and then fuck off!!!

For the first time ever since 1997, I'm not going to download/buy this crap on the release day at all.

I'm off tomorrow to GAME to get myself FIFA22 on PS5, definitely the only solution for this year. Do the same guys - leave this crap, don't download it, the numbers count for these fuckers, so don't let them be proud of what they made. Keep posting as many mocking reviews as possible!

I've been trying to figure out the problem since 21 hours. On my PC, the game doesn't open. The problem says: Settings stopped working.

PES 21 never had any problems. My Windows is 7. Is it no longer compatible? Someone had this problem. I do not know what else to do. I am unable to test the game.

Steam page says windows 10 as a minimum so bless your soul.

Hats off to the one or two reviewers who didn't sell their soul for a paid trip and hotel room.

Schadenfreude and being proven right after months of people trying to make you doubt reality doesn't compensate for the death of a game you grew up with, but it actually comes closer than I'd have thought.

I wish the "stunningly organic" guy hadn't got banned, wanted to see his reaction 😂
