eFootball (All Platforms)

I already feared the worst going in, but it's somehow turned out even worse than that.

I can't quite explain the input problem, it just doesn't feel like you have proper control of the players. Momentum is basically gone, the physics when players collide are a mess.

They've absolutely killed it.

Not even my worst expectation covered what I experienced when playing "demo like" crap...
I mean wtf were they thinking releasing this??
I work as a QA and will offer to work for FREE for them to point out the endless bugs they have and I don't even want to start on the gameppley..
I knew I shouldn't have started my day with this/

Is it me or do players get a random speed boost also is there no anti aliasing on pc? The game looks like a mess on high settings. The game randomly speeds up when ai tries to tackle. The collisions are all off and the controls are horrific. Honestly garbage wtf

This image in isolation...great compressed game,ok graphics...havent played it yet mind...

This isn't just buggy, alpha, unfinished etc. The core gameplay bares no resemblance to PES. This is a complete waste of my time and it's unsalvageable. I don't even know if it's worth wasting a weekend making a review video. I wouldn't play this game if they paid me to. I think at this point we should wait a year for a new game from developers who left Konami to make a new game. UFL/Goals etc are just shit not worth talking about, same as eFootball.

I might even change my channel to Steam Deck reviews or something because I won't be playing this turd for the rest of the year.
This is honestly how I saw eFootball just from the NFG "online test" gameplay videos. I never bothered to even download that and especially after the impressions I'm seeing, I won't be wasting my time downloading this either.

As much as it sucks that we're all getting such a bad game, I'm glad to see you aren't still sticking up for this pile of shit. Apologies for questioning your integrity, if you were incentivised then you wouldn't post these views.

Never thought I wouldn't be hyped about a release of new PES (technically not even PES). But after reading the comments actually not even gonna bother trying it.
The reviews from youtubers kinda gave me hope the game will be somewhat decent but I guess they were playing a different game.
Waited 2 years for a mobile game with 9 teams and 90% of content missing.
Bravo Konami.. Bravo...

Why would anyone who loves football want to promote this pile of turd. I would prefer it if this game distanced itself as far as possible from PES because it's giving it a bad name.

The feel -which is what made PES great, is completely gone here
Big point. Didn't even consider why this eFootball felt so bad.. its cause it has so little to do with PES in regards to feel. How the players feel on the ball..
Of the recent PES's, no matter how negative you feel towards the gameplay, one thing that cannot be denied is 'the feel' that PES produces so well. Its the number one reason ive stuck with PES all these years.

So in the end we got a mobile game on consoles (and an unfinished one).

* pretending to be shocked and surprised…

What people expected really? The game is made to be cross played with mobile devices, I said before and Il say again, the mobile platform is the lead version of the game now.

The home console version has to be adjusted to be able to function with the mobile one on cross play.

This results in a game that has no place being released on home consoles ( what a shocker!).

I’ll stand by my recent comments, in a few years from now Konami will abandon home consoles releases altogether focusing only on a mobile version of the game. The future of the series is pretty obvious.

Im telling ya, thats why Konami didn't call this PES... its an out for something that potentially ( and did) turned out so so bad. I still think there is a big chance we will see another PES title in the future... with the proper PES characteristics. Hoping itll be in a year or 2. I used to have faith that Konami would release a good game each year, but for the first time since the series began I reckon the backlash will just be too big for Konami not to do anything about it. #ReleaseTheRealPES

Yes mate, for years now, it was the ONLY thing I liked in PES. And it's because the last time they developed a true football game was with 14. They have been doing garbage for years now but the base from 14 was always deep under the hood. If they could make these changes or had the time to make them before, they would. The writing was on the wall. This is their new vision for an e-sport, copying the worst bits from FUT.
