eFootball (All Platforms)

You won't found it. 90/10 > you got to make big compromises. Except from features like we talked they removed, each game got his "system"
I don't believe by taking what you considers the best of every game will result in a good balance, you don't create a game by making a melting pot.
Also, i think it could result to too many 0-0, too hard to score, or too free so too much weird errors. Well it's super complicated a football game, to me the start is all about some philosophy you have to agree with, keep it and improve it.
It's hard. And AI is also hard to programm : but i saw some stuff vs CPU on the beta/demo that i even prefers than some others PES, and AI CPU was my biggest fear. So from that side, i'm a bit reassured. Only that, no i don't know if i will like control and be forced to run with R2 for example (i didn't understood completely the R2 system i'll be honest. Even in french, my first language. It's pretty confusing)

I think they will use the analog of the trigger for different running speeds. So take for example, in driving games if u lightly touch the R2 trigger, the car will gradually speed up, whereas if you slam down R2 the the RPM will "full throttle", your acceleration is much quicker (could be overuse impacts stamina).

As stated, it COULD be a good system, but it depends how it is implemented & how the animations vary.

Hmmm, those celebrities from Steam can't wait for much longer and are very impatient to get into it... They're purchasing those packs as "gifts" via different regional pricing to get their best from those creative teams, with so much love between them. When they're preparing with packs, they're arguing in other threads that's free... They're into eFootball so deep already like some hard working 🐝🐝🐝... buzz buzz !!!

How many clubs konami will release in the full version? With the exact number i can find how many will be.
I read before it was 800 clubs in.

This mount of teams, only in europe counted in leagues are 268 Clubs.

The DLC of the Master League will be paid only once and not every season!

IMO, that means the ML mode won't change over the years
They can KEEEEEEP IT, until we buy the full game on July with 19.95€!
And that means people will buy efootball and keep the same game for the next 10 years. 🤢🤮
Konami will end with the same fox engine.
Enjoy when i play pes 6.

So that's it, exactly as I was thinking. Single endlessly upgrading (?) platform. No more going retro and what's lost, is lost.

I serioualy don't know what else they can do to make me more uninterested. It's a talent on his own at this point.

In before "BUt thEy aRe maKinG yOu pAy juSt oNcE, yoU sHuolD sAy thHhankS!1!!"

Score! Hero 2 has all teams from La Liga, Bundesliga, Eredivisie and 1A Pro League licensed (only kits, name and emblem - players not included) (source)
What if the 600 licensed teams include this type of deal, as you can choose a team as a base for your creative team.
As we know, the base club selection in myclub didn't include players.

I read the first Pages of this Thread and the last Page. And I am happy to give €Football2022 a try. I really don't get it why People hate this Game even if they don't see it. Make your own Impression about the Game. Do not make your Impression about a Game by reading Comments from People who never seen the Game.
I think in mid 2022 we can judge this Game.

That's the danger.

I still feel a good game can emerge from the shambles given time, but the PR and marketing mistakes could sadly be fatal.
That’s pretty obvious.
But to me is also pretty obvious that Konami isn’t very preoccupied with that( with the pc and consoles version).

Their focus as shifted to mobile, because there’s were the money his for them. They only have to deliver on that platform.

So far the console version seems like an afterthought, and the way that Konami as been caring the launch of the game it really shows that (they couldn’t care less).

If the mobile version continues to be a success in terms of revenue for them, I wouldn’t be surprised if they abandon altogether the console versions in a few years.

Don’t be triggered by emotions-you can’t play “eFootball” like “PES”

The key here is to try new mechanisms. If you want to play “eFootball 2022” like “PES” for many years, it will feel bulky and slow, like a half-baked work, and you will think it will not work as expected. If you really push yourself to train new moves, you will find a series of interesting and fun ways to deal with each game. This is why I admire the many matches I have played against Klaus Ganer, the football data director. He is very accustomed to innovative defensive and offensive moves.

The main difference here is how you use the analog triggers (L2 and R2 in the case of the DualSense controller). You will notice that the ball no longer sticks to your shoes, which makes the behavior look more natural and gives you room to perform some more body-based movements. Take the ball and suddenly press R2 to change direction. It feels great. This is more like a fish in the water for more skilled players, just as you have recognized them for years to perform some of the craziest skill moves, you now need to identify the strongest and tallest players to make the most of L2. If you have the ball, you can use it to protect it, for example to prevent an overcoming attempt to grab the ball. If you are defending, you will find that the new ball guard/physical defense is like a good thing falling from the sky. Just like one of those defensive moves, people will wonder why this didn’t exist with ordinary tackles and tackles before.

Therefore, even before getting into finer passes and powerful shots, I suggest you first explore all the new moves that L2 and R2 can perform (and some R3 dribbles), just to get the new feelings brought by the players and the ball. See that the physical combat is real, and finally rethink how you deal with one-on-one and real-time tactics on the court. All of this is accompanied by the subtle rumble provided by the DualSense tactile feedback function, because the highly anticipated adaptive trigger function (which can feel every touch and shot) has not yet been implemented in this version (and will not be released at the time of release) Yes).

Similarly, once you have mastered the main points, the gameplay will feel natural, but it takes time to master it, and it takes a long time for “PES” fans to remove some old habits and read different times and distances accordingly. The improved sphere physics also brings some help, because it looks less scripted and more “usable” for both players in every situation. Then, my opponent Klaus really likes so-called “power shots” or “slam kicks.” These impressive, selectable, and very satisfying shots or passes can start special animations. To execute them, you just need to set aside some time/space for yourself, and then keep pressing R2 plus the pass or shoot button, and you will see the scale turn blue. This is how our best goal during the experience session was achieved.

I can’t wait to see what professional players can do with these new features, because I think this opens the way for more exciting and less artificial duels. In addition, when you want to dribble, the new Duel Camera seems to be a welcome add-on, because it can gracefully zoom in on the camera during physical battles.

As I continued to adapt to this new way of playing, I shifted my focus from such an important duel to the aspect of customizing the field tactics according to the selected team. There is a good process throughout the game, whether it is the referees (they provide more advantages) or the interference of the game itself has become less. This is a very “continue to play” concept, which complements the increased physicality. The above-mentioned team you choose makes an important difference, perhaps bigger than ever, because in 1v1 duels and when deciding what you can or cannot do with your team, there are many things that need to be detailed. consider.

The tactics based on artificial intelligence are more in-depth, but at the same time they are presented in a simpler way on the new game plan screen. I noticed major changes from Manchester United to Barcelona, to the Portuguese national team, or to Juventus, and finally to the arsenal. Each team’s gameplay is more prominent, which means you can knock down your opponents with powerful forces such as Cristiano Ronaldo or Thomas Müller, and it is best to use Dybala or Pedri to engage in “tiki-taka”. The same applies to Defend the most tenacious player, or when you choose to switch faster and counterattack.

Given the early test experience version released earlier this summer, I found a product that was stronger and more refined than expected. Yes, some errors, artifacts, and malfunctions will be found in a few days, most of which are understood and are being processed (for example, the lip animation of a strong shot, some sudden appearance or no 3D grass court surface), and a few A drop in frame rate (in the introduction of the plot animation) and occasional weird shadows or small clarity issues, etc. But as far as the play period is concerned, the state of the work is good enough to start training. The player model looks ugly in some of the official pictures currently released, but it looks very real and detailed when we pause the game, which is higher than the level of the previous generation, so we still put our expectations to the minimum (hands, fingers) , Muscles, skin, shorts clothes physics, and many more have changed).

For those who are worried about “messed cursors”, this is an introductory feature that can be completely turned off (considering new actions), just like strength scales and endurance scales. If you are worried about the speed of the game, this can still be adjusted from -2 to +2, but I suggest again that you should enter the new process first and try to see.

My concern about gameplay is mainly about the problem of always being difficult to balance. Obviously, as the season progresses, Konami will have to constantly adjust the game, whether it is human or artificial intelligence. Well, like all ongoing service games. I found that stealing the ball from the opponent’s area may be too easy, and compared to other teams who view their players, certain tactics and styles of play may be too OP, but this has indeed happened in real life, not NS?

What's those supposition? You pay ML once so it will still the same?
I don't get the logic. You don't pay the game and he will got updates.
I don't know what's the worst, the guys yelling at "we're lost it's the end of the world" everywhere or people who are happy for nothing like "it's the best thing i ever see/played/ear in my life!"
Some nuances or shades is still permitted those times? Seriously...

I love this "re-learning" requirement of eFootball, and tbh this is my only reason to be switching to eFootball, since I love my version of PES2021 despite my many gameplay qualms, many of which eFootball seems to have addressed (pending me actually playing it). As a FUMA player, I actually love the level of control given to the player, where the outcome is more reliant on your input rather than the game's assistance. Yes, it would be nice if secondary player press was back as a motion-matching option without having to steal the ball, but overall, I love the reliance on our input for most actions. I'm starting to change my mind about shielding, since better defenders will still do a better job shielding the ball, so there's that.

I actually *can* wait for the new "sharp kicks" to be introduced in a later update (even though ALL gameplay elements should have been finalized and ready to go several months ago) despite everyone loving it, but I really, really wanted the new delayed ball trapping (the supercancel-ish one Neymar pulled off) to be in the base game. Several times I wanted my player to just let the ball roll, while keeping his movement attached to its movement, without using supercancel which completely detaches the player off the ball's movement. I would have used it for when Timo receives the ball here:

....and it's something that you can use when receiving every single pass, giving you way more creative freedom when passing and receiving your passes.

I also love how BOTH off-ball and on-ball dribbling speed is governed by how far the analog stick is tilted. The way people describe the R2 sudden ball push is also beautiful, although I'm a little curious about the R3 dribbling as not many people are talking about it. I would be disappointed if the long ball push still requires this weird R2+R3 combo.

If eFootball was just a slightly improved version of PES 2021 from a gameplay standpoint, the way every version of PES was in comparison to its predecessor, I would have easily skipped it till we had 2021's mods available for it.

There are a ton of missing and downgraded things about eFootball (check out the beautiful net physics in the above clip for e.g.) but gameplay will always take precedence, so here's to hoping visual mods don't take too long to come out, since I've lost hope in the eFootball team to produce a beautiful looking game on their own.

Although they don't deserve any credit whatsoever thus far for their abysmal marketing of this game & horrible new business model , I will give Konami props for at least potentially giving us something completely different.

It might not work & yes it might (most probably will) be completely shit but everything I'm hearing about the new controls sounds interesting & an opportunity to relearn.

We've been essentially playing the same game for donkeys years with incremental upgrades so I'm looking forward to trying something different.

It just a shame that this most definitely isn't the full packaged game we were all hoping for.

Time will tell of course & I'm expecting Thursdays release to be a bit of shambles, everything Konami have done so far all points in that direction.

But if & that's a big "IF" there's something intriguing under the hood that shows a potential to grow & improve over the coming months & years then there just might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

It's a shame the launch appears to have many missing gameplay mechanics, this is a huge mistake IMO & it really should be delayed until these are in place. First impressions count & not everyone will be aware that such things will be coming later.

This. After the trailer, all the excitement i had left was instantly gone but the prospect of tinkering with and learning these new mechanics have gotten me interested again to the point i am actually marking the 30th in my agenda. Still not expecting anything from it but what the hell, why not allow myself to grow a bit of that good ol' anticipation towards the release.

I thought it was a well written article and there are a lot of good points and presented positively, but I'm not sure they can get away with Calling the new tactical system 'more in depth' when it's completely watered down with no customisation
I'm curious to see how the AI will play with the simplified tactical system since they wont overlap with other factors

Awesome, right? Hope you'll like the game mate. And look, they build it from scratch, things will get better, Konami just needs more time, you know. I mean, imagine what they can do with the UE5 and if they can just keep updating this thing, slowly moving towards football heaven? Wouldn't that be great? Konami are at the beginning, the absolute beginning. This amazing journey is ahead of them and they want you to be part of it too. Because, you know, they appreciate your opinion and your feedback and they are now able to make faster iterations based on suggestions from fans and passionate followers like yourself. Its going to be a bumpy ride, for sure, but its important that Konami gets that momentum going, especially now with this huge new step. They want as much people to believe in the product as possible so they can invest and iterate on a massive, massive scale, you know. The future is bright, mate, so very bright...

IMPORTANT: This is 95% plagiarized fiction from @PESV

They may seem to be releasing a different game but according to some who have played eFootball it appears to suffer the same fundamental issues that previous Pes games had. Over 2 years of development time yet refs and the foul system does not appear to be any better. Konami not allowing any gameplay to be released with just a few days until launch is just another huge red flag.

Any new rumors or news on new licensing teams/leagues?
WIth 600+ licensed teams, eFootball will have more than 250 licensed teams than PES 2021
PES2021 licensed teams and national teams: 434 (381 licensed teams and 53 licensed national teams)

I know there's 2 group in more so 8 licenced teams in more from AFC CL, and you can count the one from AFC nations. More or less 25 in more (counting the small country not IG.
For the rest, probably new leagues or second leagues. I suppose. There were 2nd Belgian Division who should have been IG but it wasn't for PES 2020 or 2021. And Poland or i don't know. Ecuador and Peru where on the supposed list.

Or some deals with Liga or even PL i don't have a clue, now that the format is different...
Perhaps it opened some opportunities to make individual deals with FIFPRO teams. Also there will be MLS but i think probably unlicenced... Or teams by teams, don't know how it works with their licencing system. Perhaps also much more indiviual teams from South and North America like they did with the 4 or 5 Peruvian teams, but for every South American country (to counter FIFA Libertadores)

Well i don't have a real clue to be honest, there's a lot of possibiliies. 600 seems a lot... Perhaps they "licenced" some teams from i don't know, 1994-95 season with kits and all and they count them as "new"?
No idea. I don't thrust that much that "600" number to be honest even if it cames from them directly.

most the time the license teams are more "unknown" teams from japan oder other no "big leagues"

i think modders will do their job in the first 2 weeks after release and also i think there will be something kind of league made by modders even before konami release a dlc but as always Konami Updates comes out of nowhere and will break all modding things.

Really dont know why Konami releasing their updates without announcement some weeks/days before

I have to say, after a lot of negativity surrounding the rule changes in the sport of boxing, I – as a lifelong boxer – am starting to warm to the idea. Yes, for years now I have shelled up to block straight punches, and for years now I have relied on a steady jab to keep distance. With both of these moves outlawed from the game, it will force me to adapt. I am ready for the challenge, because it was boring being able to defend properly and using one of my most basic tools. Some are calling this a dumbing down of the sport, but for me it represents a difficulty shift, and one that I am excited about adapting myself to. Things will get even better in half a year, too, when the Commission will sanction the use of a new move: the Superman Punch.

I say: embrace change, even when it makes things harder.

Harder because of the switch in the controlling system overall yes, but not because the controls makes less sense. And button are weirdly chosen, even if you can switch them.
EDIT/ + J-League 1 and 2 (40 teams) they didn't counted it as it was Mobile only.

From what i saw.... It seems to makes sense so i don't have too much issues with it.
Just the impact of the "analog run" needs to be by far more impactful, or should i say extended in the gap between a full run and very quick steps, than on (sorry) Fifa.
I removed that feature on every version as it wasn't a game changer at all, but more an annoyance.
