eFootball (All Platforms)

I wasn't talking about the online beta test. I was referring to Thursday's launch i.e. "Even if this were a demo", having missing gameplay elements would have been inexcusable.
Sorry mate, my mistake! And keep up your brilliant gameplay videos when this launches please, I love the detail you put into them!

No, just playing exhibition matches isn’t enough. Not when I was expecting super next gen Unreal Engine PES which Konami harped on about for two years.

I would would rather spend £50 on a finished, quality football game with a deep and addictive Master League packed with features and content than a free-to-play half baked, half assed version of PES with no content.

You might be happy playing Man U v Barcelona exhibition games at the same stadium for a few months and all the power to you, but I would rather spend the little amount of gaming time I have with something that the publisher actually cares about.
I mainly meant we need a stunning gameplay and if we have that for, say, just a month before they release all the other stuff, that would be great for me. And its free at the launch, so the £50 we eventually pay in total for all the extra stuff helps me greatly, cos all I want is the gameplay!

Man Utd being in the launch is not good though, just think of all the clubs that could be in it, and they have to include the club that has the rap***.

Don't you just need to click on the date and time on this link?

https://hiddenpalace.org/File:Pro_Evolution_Soccer_3_(Jul_29,_2003_prototype).7z

I'm not near my pc right now but on my phone it starts downloading a 1.97GB file. Any idea if this prototype is meant to play differently?

Sorry for off topic
Only have two things change it, the menu start button and the select sound is different, and it's for ps2. There is a nother proto made it in konami studio i saw in the video, the menu is all green.

After each passing day my interest in this shell of a game, the corpse of PES served under the name eFootball, disappears.
For the first time in nearly 20 years, just two, three days before the game release, and ... I feel nothing. I kinda... don't.... care ...
OK, maybe I'm a little intrigued by the "new" gameplay and see what the difference is from the beta, but that's it.

In the next month and a half, there will actually be no modes, as far as I understand !? Аnd then there will be something MyClub like mode, which I personally have never been a fan of, so I will have to wait for Konami to release something for coop/11 vs 11 or Master League, which is not known if and when it will happen.

In the end, whatever they're trying to do with this game/app doesn't matter and will flop (will not last long) with their "new crowd", taking in count some objective and logical arguments about their wrong plans/misdirection:

- eFootball release date - people will install the app on the 30th because it's free and they'll try few friendlies. Even if the actual hidden gameplay will be considered a gem, the new crowd (and even the old one) will not stick with it, because the next day on 1st October they'll play FIFA, and from that moment players will not think and go for a turn around later (will be mostly forgotten)...

- modes and features - nobody will stay almost 2 months playing friendlies and wait for those online modes to kick off (new crowd), and especially 6 months to pay for those offline modes in a F2P game. By that time knowing that eFootball is focused on live service will be mostly dead without having an active online userbase ("new crowd"). FIFA will have everything included from day one: offline/online, lootboxes for gamblers (you name it), customization for teams/stadiums, updates for their modes to keep everybody invested into it...

- in game presentation - though Konami are trying to include some improved cutscenes and some fluid transitions between plays, those will not save their game; it's still bland regarding its presentation comparing it to FIFA taking in count specific leagues flavours, licenses, dynamic commentaries, crowd atmosphere, graphics, UI etc. FIFA recreates that way better for every type of "crowd" because that feels like football (even if it not plays so much like football)...

- transparency - eFootball is a shy mystery even to this date, we don't have anything related to gameplay three days before "release", and that reeks from miles.
In this regard FIFA maintains the advantage, because they were more transparent, and we knew for about one month earlier how the gameplay will be. Ice skating like always, but (it's a big but) with one step in the right direction taking in count how users from other threads or forums are mentioning on how feels the gamepaly after playing the final product. Seeing something changing in a positive direction and being transparent about what's in the final package of the product, it's way better than what Konami did and continues to do like a boss...

Those facts alone are just making eFootball a joke in comparison with the competition, and will reflect some consequences that will make every type of crowd even less interested in their product than before (without taking in count those lies & false advertising or monetization issues, because that's another big and fat topic).

For most PC/console users on the 30th will be like, yeah sure let's give eFootball a try:

Friday night -----> free install while drinking some beers ----> testing few matches ----> mehhh ----> uninstall ----> remove from library... That's all folks !!!

Honestly if I want a great football game for this season I'll just download the new pes 6 FIREBIRD patch 2021-22 when it releases, that will be the best F2P game on the market

This is from the ps5 store. Why would they choose this it looks horrendous.View attachment 123412
But let remind you that PS5 is like a computer, we need to add 2 beast memory RAM to make it clean graphic quality.
And for PC this is a game it will read automatic the specs you had.
Who cares about graphics?

Renan Galvani a few days ago in a video tell us that pes is better then was expected.
Can you stop being fanboy? No one cares about FIFA versus PES, we only care about a better and decent videogame.
Konami when shows nothing at all, like it did to PES 2014, it looks like is affraid to release the game, or it likes to bypass pirate fags, but it doesn´t gonna to work, because the game is totally free and the crackers doesn´t give a dam shit to the release of the game at all.

Im clinging to the hope that the image is from an older build, and textures and turf aswell as shadows have been improved since...

I know the guys who went to the studios few weeks back said it looks very nice but turf needed some work, also confirmed it was an older build and more work had been done since for release....

Konami though... so who knows

Typical Utd fan.

So used to hype involving his football club, he expects hype before a release of the next best thing PES.

It is very clear to me that the shunning of gameplay is for a sensational reason.

Reason will be clear on 30th when its stunning-ness will appear.

CR7 still a rap***.

Its obvious they dont have anything to show, and just want to cash-grab as much as possible before people see what kind of game this is.
Yeah its so very obvious but what does obvious mean in a world where we are all used to the "hype".

The hype for example around Chelsea buying a flat track bully.

City buying Grealish who doesnt fit their style of play.

Utd bringing back a rap***.

LFC being told you cannot win the title "cos u havent paid ridiculous money out for a player u dont actually need".....

Look at the table.

Then watch also Thursday when you will all realise this one didnt need pre-hype...

Listen brother. Your Ronaldo comment was funny because it's factual but we don't come on here to hear about individual fans moan about other clubs or talk their own up.

We are here to share our love of football and football gaming without the intrusion of tribalism and with much respect for members opposing allegiances to our own.

Theres many things that can be said about your club as well as mine. No club is exempt.

True. This thread is for eFootball 2022 not for Random Fan Moans. Well said. 👍
