JUST to keep it ONTOPIC, compare this guy's (Paterson) words, with Kimura or the EA devs that give interviews and insights in our days.
Me personally i see a guy that is obsessed in a good way with his doings. Kimura and the others are just spamming e-sports, and other 1vs1 bulkrap.

Yes it's probably him ! The name makes me a "tilt" on my head. He was behind WC2010, who were kinda special as a Fifa, not only for the atmosphere but the dynamic gameplay and pretty "enthousiast" let's say. Hard to define, but it's close to PES 5-6
 
Can not wait for September the 30rd. Not because eCrap will be a real next gen perfect virtual football experience. No!

Last time I played football on PC was at february or march. So it is more the missing to play one.
But bad choice from konami. First day october is release fifa22. But also nothing what should me be suprised about konami.

I'm pretty sure the game will be good later. But for now, i'm preparing PES 2021 OF by correcting all mistake, and perhaps a PES 17 corrected OF too if i got time (i like PES 2021, sorry for the others. FIFA is a big no from what i saw, worst Beta since they're doing Beta stuffs)

I'm sure they will bring something good. But it's an half finished thing. I repeat for the thousand time : they're releasing that "thing" way too late.

What's the point? First impression is always the one you keep in mind (kinda for woman or men when they meet each others. One if not the most important thing when you're going to a date or you meet someone anywhere)

From how you describe the guy, I'd say it is (was, unfortunately) Simon Humber.
 
Pretty sad... Rip to that him. Didn't know (i don't follow EA things)

But i still think it's Patterson, or perhaps both teaming with Humber. Rutter made the basis but worked on FIFA 11 while the others worked on World Cup version i remember well.
That's why it's a Fifa with a pretty different feeling than all the others before or after.
 
I've finally accepted PES in name is no more. It's a shame as always loved release day. However, I'm prepared to give eFootball a chance and hope it does well and evolves into something great. Maybe PES would be a better name for it in that sense.

I get people are annoyed, angry or upset right now, but I say give eFootball a chance. The modes we all like will be coming back according to what they've said and this new model may bring them more money to invest in the game going forward.

Can't wait to try out what is essentially the demo at the end of the month and see what changes there are to the beta.

They also said they aren't very interested in single player modes so expect the same drab AI

Apologies you misread me bro. It was meant to be a sarcastic comment to portray the sentiment I and many others feel with the current stay of play.
 
So, eFootball seems is going to be officially dead in a couple of years unless they come up with something to clear this mess. But in exchange we are going to have 3 new IP's (UFL, Goals and Football Player 2021) aiming for eSports/simulation. Maybe one of this IPs sees an opportunity in off-line modes and brings us some nice offline modes. If it comes with some nice simulation and next-gen animations and gameplay I completely sign it.

Many more Authentic Teams will be added as part of the upcoming autumn update. These can then be used as base teams for building your Creative Team. There will then be a further update in winter, where users can enjoy Match - Authentic with all the available teams.

Yes, we can even say they never got as much licenced teams on any PES. But my theory about teams:

Well, AFC Champion's league increased by 2 or 4 group more i don't remember exactly... I think it's 2.
They've got full licence from Asian NT (there's a lot of them) AFC CUP as mentionned some months ago.

They probably keeped NT from Euro, and get probably J-League 1 and 2 like mobile (i hope so as there's as much preset faces than in any big league) that may explain this.

Now, they've got linked also with MLSPA (the FIFPRO for MLS players, so they can have any MLS player i think it's the same system) , perhaps they've managed to get teams too individually like they did with some Serie A in the past, but i'm less sure about it.
I don't know but i hope (i built MLS, their teams are in terms of individualities very interesting and they're way better than previous years... When it was a league of semi-retired players. Now they tooks big ones from Argentina, Paraguay, Mexico, solid NT players)

Perhaps one or two new league we don't have a clue, European leagues, Poland or whatever who was planned for PES 2020 and 2021.

Perhaps also the F2P system with DLC giving them an agreement to get some licences. I don't know, but exactly like you.
Needs to make the count by removing all Asian NT, All Euro NT, also some stuffs like 3 Bundes/4 Peru/2 or 3 Croatia, let's count around 20 extra teams from the whole database. Too lazy to make the count lol, but i'm sure there's more than last year "licenced", Euro or not.

I ONLY talk about licence, not about the whole game. You know what i think about it (rushed, too soon, half finished at release more than ever etc.) : i'll be waiting 3 months before starting it / Or when i will read here than everything is in place.
Perhaps editing if possible during that time.

Yeah but like Klashy, i've just heard "in Automn". No release date or whatever, so i thinked "at least, they will release something a small bit less... Unfinished in all areas than what we saw in the trailer". Perhaps the trailer was build on end July knowing them... But 3 months at least, based on start August or based on the Trailer, would be necessary.
Now they're rushing way too fast... Like happy kids on a bike. It maked me think about some OF we released unfinished, i hate it. I don't release something if it's not done. Prefers for exemple to release 8 Bundes teams +3 IG completely finished than 15 but with not faces and just hair, with for example a black Kruse or blonde Akanji or whatever tactics.

No, Autumn starts as said 21 or 22 of September up to 21 of December that starts the Winter and is my birthday, btw. Officially speaking, we are still in summer, even if it feels in the air like Autumn. So actually 30rd of September would be indeed Early Autumn.

To release a new game for PS5, PS4, XBOX consoles and PC, with the same animations, gameplay, stadium's size, AI, gameplay, ball physics etc with PES 5 or PES 6...But with new modern graphics like stadium graphics, balls, players models etc...Just one version for this year and the game should be full editable i mean we should be able to add teams leagues players etc like fifa 11-14 on PC..And the game should be run easily on older PCs too because some people are playing PES 5 and PES 6 on their old PCs...

It's nice because this app can be used everywhere with WiFi and 5G. Also it's pretty cool that isn't too complicated to slide & swipe through eFootball menus. With just five tactics and nine teams I can choose my preferences easy enough without thinking too much, then I'll need to control just the direction, the pass and the shoot commands on the touch screen. I'll download it on all my phones to be sure that I don't miss something for my creative teams at the start of
eFootball™ World™ 2022 campaign... Can't wait to compete with you guys while I'm at McDonald's waiting for a snack...
