eFootball (All Platforms)

It's nice because this app can be used everywhere with WiFi and 5G. Also it's pretty cool that isn't too complicated to slide & swipe through eFootball menus. With just five tactics and nine teams I can choose my preferences easy enough without thinking too much, then I'll need to control just the direction, the pass and the shoot commands on the touch screen. I'll download it on all my phones to be sure that I don't miss something for my creative teams at the start of
eFootball™ World™ 2022 campaign... Can't wait to compete with you guys while I'm at McDonald's waiting for a snack...
You can even play the rematch whilst you're on the shitter, dumping that toxic waste out

Sorry, the "cross-gen" will be off, like everyone owning a PS4-PS5-Serie X or S.
Seriously, at a certain point (if they don't stop completely before) they will got to separe Cross-gen, even for PS4 vs PS5.

It's not that hard to make Esport, with separate winners and prize for Mobile and for Console-PC users
In fact, that's the thing that bring us to cross-gen... How ridiculous will be a quarter final with a Serie X vs a Mobile user, sincerely i got it hard to imagine.

They / Kimura dumbass and his "yes man" team for not being fired / didn't thinked about it at all it seems.
If the game stay and evolve, one year there will be a separation. It won't last in my opinion, just good for this year but i don't see any future with it.

Well, next gen consoles aren't really in everyone home, so it's "okay", it's like when PES6 were on 360 (amusing game btw, different from PES6 / Uneditable unfortunately except names). But next-gen wil be something as normal to have the upcoming year. Now it's a bit for lucky guys and those who got privileges.

I don't think. They survived EA which was a bigger threat at a moment. Now they've got 600 licenced teams. They fucked up their marketing, but not really "killed" their own game for once and all. There's changes planned... Just that they're releasing that stuff way too soon, dumb as the last guy deciding, just see his speech and you'll understand how stubborn he is, and got no tact at all, no global view.

The last year for him, i think, i hope, yes, really.

It's more a "restoration version" let's say, they've got to found a way to get some extra money some said... I don't know if that's the case, not sure, but well.

But the F2P system will stay in my opinion

They will get at least one year experience of F2P. Is it's stated that Fifa will goes F2P too?
Remember the two others games cames without licences. And they're still an enigm.

Marketing i agree, but it's a F2P, people will try it one day or another, it's free. I know some guys completely disinterested in Football Games since Fifa 17, even 16 because it's "always the same", who don't want to pay for a game anymore as they've feeled stolen due to the quality also but not only (just like i said, because it's a loop, same feeling again and again for them)
Those guys exactly said "It's F2P, i'll give a try then, it's cool". No joke. They don't follow trailers like us...

Edit: one of the guys from the other forum i'm going to talk to almost everything, even said we can make tournament, no excuse then. You see, people aren't all disappointed about F2P like us, who wanted a Digital full game copy (me too, but well.. I gotted PES 2020 and FIFA 20 in digital. I thinked "whatever, it's the same... And i got them for free so i prefers haha")

At least PES got things from his past, like Option file and import/export system, plus they signed with MLSPA so they will got MLS fake / normally simple to edit like PL and Liga.
UFL presentation is cool, but zero pic from In Game, even pre-renderer. But they're working on it since 5 years.
Issues will be licences, and only Online... For us at least : the two option will be Fifa or Efootball with updates in everything.

And Goalz... No way. It's decided since when? A year? What about contact with others clubs etc.?

One of my biggest hope : with 4 games, the END of exclusivity. 3 of them can complain and fight against it. Against the one company which started it...
But i'm dreamin' a bit too much on the last idea lol. I don't see that possible. Also, EA is licence, Fifa takes it. I don't have anything about Fifa, aswell as the guys behind Efootball creating it. But the ones above, Konami/EA

FIFA will be to next year to , and then 2 new games more like that.

They don't have a chance to win in this area either .

Because their marketing is really worst.
So what... ?

FIFA already hammered them so it won't count

These 2 or 3 new games not gonna take Konami's market within a year or two anyway, it's not rocket science.

Hmmm, who knows. UFL is stand now the only real competitioner. If they deliver, thing's could happen fast. They have Fifa.pro licence. Partner clubs and ambassadors... Let's wait and see...

Yes, they got. Not as much i think ATM, as they're need to make proof and money.
But enough for a premiere. Not you can be 5 years behind a game and making bad things.
Like Death Stranding, or perhaps the worst rise and fall about hype... Cyberpunk.

They do have potential, atleast they're showing more effort than the other two but let's remember the keyword here

"IF"

Are they gonna take PES market share ? maybe
How long it will take ? definetly not a year or two especially PES is going f2p.

I think Konami has given a share of the market back to FIFA by default this year'. As a PS5 owner and I suspect PC owners and Xbox owners have little interest playing someone on mobile , I'm not going to even try it . The other companies coming soon just want a % of the market which is huge . If FIFA goes F2P that will probably wipe them all out

You misunderstand F2P with cross-gen, mobile etc.
Fifa can made a F2P game cross-plateform, only for PC-PS5-X an S series...
Perhaps a PS4 only, not cross-gen, separate for e-sport or in the worst case it could also be cross-gen with PS5XS. I don't think but well, future will tell, there's still a lot of PS4 users.
But not Mobile related at all, it's a weird and a first idea coming from nowhere.

Hi bros! You know, I think all of us who love offline gaming, we should concentrate on supporting the best mods for all PES games and forget about this twitter hype machine for a good while.. I say.. Let's concentrate on updating, improving and supporting the current games and the mods and not pay too much attention to the rest!

Peace out my bros. :TU::COOL:

I'm the only think that this the last game of Konami ?

This not going to work , They killed their own game .
No, I also think the same. A really bad release can kill a developer. Look at CP2077 - some predict that CD Projekt Red won’t come back from it.

Plus like you went on to say - FIFA going F2P, which will happen - will finish off an already suffering brand in eFootball.

None of us have all the facts, not even their PR Robot Adam. But you do have to ask: if eFootball 2020 and 2021 sold enough, why go F2P? Why such a massive change in strategy? Something doesn’t add up to me.

They went on about a new engine and I’m sure they promised a revamped master league in PES 2022 at some point. But then a sudden change of direction and all of a sudden PES no longer exists and is replaced by the god awful Euro-to-Win football.

I think eFootball will be fine in year one but by year three it will be like H1Z1 Battle Royale (who remembers that?) There are still people who play it but it’s pretty much dead. I tried it last night on PS4 and it took ages to find a match.

There simply won’t be enough to keep people going. I’ve already noticed lots of myClub players in Twitter replies and on Reddit saying they’re going over to FIFA 22 for FUT.

eFootball / PES / Konami is done as far as console gaming goes. Mobile gaming and Pachinko, sure. But forget seeing a good/popular eFootball game on PC and consoles ever again.

You are spot on with this. eFootball will definitely turn into that on PC and Consoles and just be a Mobile game that could be active (but even that is a doubt since Konami have hugely cut down on their development team and are always late with content and stuff so perhaps even Mobile players will walk away) for people who want some sort of football on their phones

Pro Evolution Soccer died this year...What i want from KONAMI? To release a new game for PS5, PS4, XBOX consoles and PC, with the same animations, gameplay, stadium's size, AI, gameplay, ball physics etc with PES 5 or PES 6...But with new modern graphics like stadium graphics, balls, players models etc...Just one version for this year and the game should be full editable i mean we should be able to add teams leagues players etc like fifa 11-14 on PC..And the game should be run easily on older PCs too because some people are playing PES 5 and PES 6 on their old PCs...
No. PES 6 is outdated technology and animations, and physics and everything and it was actually quite arcady. It was a great game back in the days but it wouldn't be in the standards today, besides you already have old school-like arcady games.

Konami should do a decent simulator, but they are too lazy for that an in addition, they want to make fast, simple money. Old Konami is dead, now they are pachinko investors and want to make a casino out of eFootball. Is time to asume that already. There are more options, stop having faith on Konami cause PES 2021 will be their last decent football game and will be the main off-line football simulator for some years (modded). At least you can mod it and have a decent experience.

Tonnes of old games that are outdated by current standards have been re-released as "remastered" or "definitive" editions. It will never happen but I could easily see a remastered PES 5 or 6 with higher res textures, widescreen support, online play etc. having enough demand to make it worthwhile. They could even use their existing licenses to update rosters/teams/kits etc.

CDPR are not dead, far from it... CP 2077 (on PC), is one of the greatest games I played in various aspects (letting alone the bugs & glitches that most of them are fixed now). I have three playthroughs 350h+ in it, I enjoyed it and I know many others that actually does... They released recently a new patch, and the predictions and the drama that "they don't come back" are all 100% wrong... they even have big plans for the franchise and for the future of the company...

Are you joking? The linesman in the centre circle was on the last lot of official screenshots published by the eFootball account. I saw it with my own eyes, we all did. They only fixed it later on.
Here is the trailer:

Sorry to be maybe a little bit harsh in my words. I had a tough day and I'm tired. :((

As bad as its been already this far into the year with the first and second launch both being disastrous with the reveal of a cross platform instead of next gen focused title after two years development, the tired Pique trailer with awful music, the seeming huge amount of dumbing down needed on the title to make the shift from PES to whatever cross platform experience Efootball will turn out to be, an even the "sharp kick to be relased as DC in future release" bizarre- ness and hilarity .

But one of the worst things is the communication has been so bad in both releases that we still don't know what this game will really look like on next gen consoles which is what the majority of us want to see. The second trailer seemed to have a mix of mobile footage with poor players shadows and awful turf colors on mobile versus seemingly improved look images in other parts of the trailer. Konami have botched the release so badly that nobody can still be sure what exactly is going on when it comes to the next gen version of this adventure or how it will really look, play or feel like.

It's the uncertainty the breeds a false seed of hope that something good may actually be released that will probably anger and kill us yet another time before realease when something like actual gameplay footdage gets realeased say a couple of days before realease when people get their hands on the game early. Maybe be one more disapointment is what we have to look forward to in this historic year the PES died.
