eFootball (All Platforms)

Please I'm scared now.

Someone tell me if Konami is going to Release PES 22 on q1 or next year or not? On Pc and next gen consoles?

Or is it only Efootball f2p game now? Oh God why? Why?! What is happening.

Game looks ugly asf too, what about offline modes? What about beautiful mods and all those stuff?!

Just look at the state of this. If I'm reading this right, theres no leagues, no cups, just a handful of teams for local matches at launch. Basically you'll be playing Juventus v Man Utd forever. No offline modes, just online modes and the obvious micro transactions to give your team boosts.

What a shitshow this is. its even WORSE than predicted, its the utter betrayal of the franchise and the obliteration of football gaming for that shite online experience.

I point the finger at every Pes mobile, Online player who ever played this game, well done to you all for feeding the beast. A very sad day.

Spoony Pizzas, True Brits better get themselves a new hobby. @KnightMD, stick with your PC (and whilst you are at it give me your specs and setup :))

FUCK YOU KONAMI.

I work in marketing as a copywriter; for me that was the WORST trailer I have every seen for a public facing product.

The voice over may have been Alan Patridge. Absolute shite, and btw, who actually wants to play a crap football game on their iPhone versus someone on their console?

Hold on, what the actual f*ck did I just watch?!!?!?!?
I know I said a few days ago, be prepared for disappointment but seriously?!

Surely that was just a very very very poor video ad for something related to IKEA ?

Surely Konami didn't just take 22 years of history and absolutely shit on it from a great height before burning it alive? Oh, yeah they did.

Absolutely speechless. Not just the direction they have gone but the absolute and total disrespect they have shown their fanbase, which is one of the most loyal in video game history.

They could have announced this direction at any given point over the last 2 years, they could have said back last year when they cancelled PES 21 release that they planned to move in a new direction, but what they actually did was lie to us all, stay quiet until the last minute then drop this absolute stinking white dog shit package.

Makes sense now thinking back, months ago when Adam Bhatti announced he was no longer working on the PES series but had taken a broader role, its because there was no longer going to be a PES series, you cant manage a community for something that no longer exists, Konami told him there would be no more PES and offered him another role within the company.

Well, thanks for the memories PES, Konami..... go f*ck yourselves, hard and deep, with a cactus.

Kimura says not to worry: "We're still making games on consoles first. We then take that exact same experience and make it available for mobile devices. In other words, we are not making the game for mobile, but working to make mobile more console-like."
how seriuos is this!?
Of course, even if that's true of gameplay, there's still the thorny issue of trying to make a game that can match other PS5 or Xbox Series X games for looks, while simultaneously being able to run on normal mobile devices. Kimura insists that it's possible: "We would ask our fans to not worry, we have made great efforts to tailor the visual quality of the game to the hardware of each device."
sure!

I can't really understand you disappointment, dear friends. What you are fearing, is one possibility. But it hasn't to be. So, the first thing to mention: it looks awfull good, also the gameplay looks better than ever for me. I know, many of you don't agree, but let't wait for the full release. Secondly, a cross-media plattform is a very good idea for online-fans - why should you be limited wainting for someone who has the same plattform as you? If this necessarly means that the quality it downgraded I don't think so. Thirdly, who said that offline-modes are dead? Nobody mentioned that. So, please be patient and wait for new announcements. If these modes will cost something as a DLC, why not? We always paided for the whole game, it depends only on the price, maybe it's even cheaper? and maybe they will do a really good ML? That's for me more important than the brand name, this is really not important, even if I am also getting sentimental.
But if on the other hand your fears will fulfill and there will be no ML, than I am out, of course. So let's hope for the best!

Yes. I’m so glad I’m into sim racing since February this year. That’s my new hobby.
Nice hobby, as a simracer myself I'm glad to say that this is probably the golden age of simracing, with a lot of different sims that suit everyone, and we're not stuck with two old greedy companies

Switching back to PES (or efootball), Bhatti said new info will be released in late August about the game modes

What's this? It looks almost identical to the online test that apparently, was totally unrelated to PES 2022 eFootball? Hold on, I have a list of users who were adamant that the idea of a unified (read: mobile) port of the game was blasphemous, idiotic, and completely beyond the realm of possibility. To them, the mere notion of the online test being representative of the final product was such an asinine assumption, that anyone to suggest it surely must have a room temperature IQ/ADHD/no patience.

Let's see here...

The trailer produced a wry laugh out of me when they said they were going to focus on 1v1. Did Konami head hunt the head of FIFA marketing? Gave me a good laugh. Cross-platform compatibility was the final death knell. After almost three years of development, skipping PES 2021, and moving to a new engine, they've created a game that's cross-platform compatible with an iPhone. Lovely.

This is bad. No competition means EA will pull the same BS eventually.

Is this the end? Are we finally in our growing up phase and moving on where we become the old farts now and we don't play these new games? And our kids will play these and think we are back-dated?

With all these cloud gaming BS and f2p microtransaction path, this is probably the beginning of the end for me personally. Now I know why old people don't want to use the stuff I use, they just don't like it.

Just letting the news sink in
We haven’t seen anything actually gameplaywise
Also PC, next gen or not? Big question mark
I can live with eFootball as long as there is enough offline attention to the game since I don’t play online
