He's just following the same line as that IGN interview: "Wait until end of August for more news"

Even if they're referring to Master League and it'll be released later on, the fact that it hasn't been mentioned suggests all we'd be buying is the same shite, vacant ML we've had for years.

So if a major goal was to make this game work cross platform, it has to work on the lowest common denominator - ie. mobile device, so PES is now officially just a mobile game that you can play for free on console.

What's the point of the Club Partnership crap they still have?

The IGN article says that Konami have confirmed that Option Files will still be a thing, but they didn't say how it'd be implemented except that it wouldn't be implemented immediately.
 
Good morning y'all and happy Aid Al-Adha to Muslims. So apparently, it is not a good morning anymore. As far as I'm concerned what I have just watched is 100% EA's FIFA wannabe themed... No mention to offline modes makes it clear that there will not be any. So for me it is the end surely. KONAMI's approach now is towards younger generation (rich daddy kids). It is indeed good for KONAMI so far (not for us of course) but honestly this is life haha.
I'm gonna stick with PES 2021 anyways.

And to be honest, I was expecting them to release another season update which I don't mind really, I would have taken it with a sip of water.

And to second that, the features they spoke about 6 or 7 months ago were just gone with wind: no photorealism, where the fuck is the "whole new level thing" ? Graphics are atrocious, players still have fat booties, animations are still the same only with some slight improvements.

I have absolutely no hope for offline modes (at this moment, don't know if there will be any upcoming news) but according to the cutsences of managers (shit, it was Fede Chiesa, thought it was Matthaus lol) and players arrivals, I guess there will be a sort of a Master League (that's just a guess guys as I know some of you are "expectations' alligators").

There is a lot of contradictions in the videos, maybe KONAMI are just not the best at presentations or something but at this moment I'm typing this comment, I am done with PES.

N.B: I am a little bit upset that some people are laughing because weeks ago we have had higher expectations, I mean that is just irrelevant, we were just sharing our opinions about what could have been presented to us , it's a discussion thread for fuck sake.

Edit: This is the first time I feel let down since 2008 when my father promised me to sign me up for the local team in my city but he did not LOL

Edit2: I have rewatched the video again, (God the narrator annoys more than Zero in GTA SA) and honestly looks like it's Mobile footage. Two possibilities here:
  1. Recorded on Mobile or a Mobile ported version on a PC maybe.
  2. They totally wiped down the PC and Console version to match the specs of a Mobile, and I think this possibility is more stronger than the first

This is a nightmare, isn’t it? I like the crossplay idea, but not with goddamn mobile users
 
It's massacre, I didn't think the worst nightmare can come, but now I am sad, I like PES, actually I must say goodbye, and back to my PES21 and probably in few years to Fifa(when will be the same as console) on my PC.

Even if they are adding more modes in the game, why would anyone choose to play this game over fifa 22? unless they play on mobile devices.. It just doesn't make sense, people should just stick to pes 2021 (especially on pc) if they don't like fifa.

Saw that, but it will surely be a problem IF they actually sell licensed clubs as DLC. It's not implemented and they won't answer other questions, so I'm guessing they don't know themselves yet / haven't decided yet.

That's always my first thought whenever Konami 'refuse' to comment on something. They must leave the interview and get on the phone to HQ like "Shit! We forgot Master League/offline modes/Option Files!"
 
Fk I hope this isn't as bad as it sounds.... with that trailer (and the dreadful nightmarish voice over), this could well be the end of PES/WE.
Im actually devastated....

I have totally boycotted the idea of ever playing FIFA again due to the franchise's greed over gameplay mentality... And now it seems PES (or fkn efootball) have followed suit. Sad day for us PES fans indeed.

Still currently enjoying PES2021 and its mods etc, I was really hoping for a continuation, even if Konami stated 22 was from the ground up.
I really hope PES2021 isnt the final 'real' pes we'll ever see. And if it is, well looks like ill be squeezing the fk out of PES2021 for the next few years...

At the moment looks like there is no attention to the game and no development of the Master League, in fact is looks gone baby gone. I tend to only play Master League too so looks like Game Over for Konami, hello Fifa 22.
 
It's a shame what they have done with Pes. I've been buying it since the PS1 days so R.I.P Pes. Playing basically a mobile game on the ps5 is a waste of time. These developers don't give a crap about their fans around the world so screw them.
 
- This was developed for 2 years remember by a big tech company.
- Graphics like last gen...or even worse somehow.
- Player faces are still dead.
- The Messi showcase from last year was a big false advertisement.
- They stated the New Football Game demo is not representative of the final game....but this looks and feels exactly like that.
- It has more ice skating than Fifa.
- ZERO gameplay specifications.
- ZERO gamemode specificatoins.
- And everything looks like another PES 2014 to be honest....
- FREE TO PLAY....so expect no content in it apart from online.

The sad sad thing about all this is that when the shitshow drops in Autumn or whenever the hell it releases as Free 2 play, and on mobile platforms, you know there will be tens of millions of downloads on mobile, and as its 'Free' a hell of a lot of downloads on console So Konami will think they have made a sound business decision, and it was all worth it.

Still reeling - 2 years for this. unbelievable.

They know they'll have to be honest this time, also, TTB is still better than Spoony imo. TTB still heavily criticizes FIFA and PES when he wants, spoony is a Konami guy, and had insider information back in like october i think? But I don't know if he knew about this eFootball stuff.
TTB yesterday criticized fifa with their gameplay stuff, and he said in the video that he will do the same with PES if konami don't show something good, well I doubt he'll like this.
