eFootball (All Platforms)

OMG, so sad. So the future of pes is dead, no doubt. Then our only hope is to continue modding PES21...This comunity remember me the last stronghold of resistance of the Gauls...Axterix&Obelix... no surrender :PIRATE:. Thanksall of you in this site over the years.
Cheers

I'd just like to laugh at the gigantic spanners that said the beta had nothing to do with the final game.
Me too!

Also going to laugh at myself as I was sure the graphics would have a real uplift and polish for the PS5 and actually blow me away with “photo realism”

But it actually just looks like PS4 graphics.

They’ve basically just copy & pasted the Fox Engine game, stripped out offline modes and made it free.

I'm feeling numb... no more excitement for yearly releases ever, free to play with a 100% microtransaction focus like a mobile game, digital only so no more taking the disk out of the box, no more covers or manuals, no mention of offline modes at all, maybe they don't exist or will be paid DLC, eFOOTBALL instead of PES, Winning Eleven or even ISS... my friends, did one of my favorite franchises just die right before my eyes?

Basically Fortnite. It has better graphics on console and PC, but it can also be played on mobile and it is free to play.
Well, as we speculated over the last few weeks, this is the direction many game franchises are going in and there is a generation of gamers that are accustomed to this buisiness model and it works for publishers.

I'm just surprised Konami did it before EA.

Maaan, haven't been active here for some time until recently and was really interested to see the reveal, I'm not someone who usually complains but this was not good. How can you hype someone up with this !? Is this the future all PES players were promised...free to play, and we expect it to be top quality? No info at all just speaking about irrelevant things. Thought the trailer would be a deep dive into what to expect when I saw the 6 min marker trailer and how it started, but we didn't get anything. So game will launch with Exhibition mode and rest of the modes will be as a paid Dlc, it could be good if the team would focus on every mode separately for a deep ML etc so every player gets its own unique experience, but after this I strongly disbelieve that that's the case. What a disappointment..didn't start well.

End of annual release=death of the game tò me as well. Even if there was some offline mode to pay for, I can't care less if it's going away next year, with the update.

Really sad day, even if it was kinda easy to see it coming.

Tbf to me it looks like KONAMI wants to get rid of the franchise, like they're wasting too money on this game that doesn't sell like they want. This is the coup de grace. Little to no effort will go into this after the first year/the first 6 months

It's because sales declined so much lately they decided it was not worth it anymore.

Also, creating a new football game every year requires much more investments, Konami doesn't want to do that anymore. So, free to play, microtransactions for everything, maybe offline modes sold as separate dlc.
