eFootball (All Platforms)

Absolute tops in my wish list is a much upgraded Master League with more features and immersion.. I care about that waaay more than graphics..

Should I play this song? 🤣

I am actually at this time playing it on loop. A coincidence ?
It makes me sad that the last ML campaign I loved was the one from PES 2010:

Sponsors with different goals and bonuses, your staff could be upgraded (helping you to get better deals when buying players or earning more money). And a quick and smooth transition. It was really good.
Oh shit, I still remember that the sponsors would cancel the deal if you don't finish in the top 5 or win at least 10 home games. Gives me vivid dreams about my Wolverhampton Master League campaign...

Haha may they will fool us with 'new football game' again
Only Konami will think we are fooled about this.
But we are more dissapointed about that, because it is true really serious mean by Konami.

😬😐🙄

Weedens left Konami so unless he worked on the trailer beforehand I doubt we see something as great as the PES 2021 final trailer (which was really so damn good and should have been released earlier)

Let's see what we get but not really expecting a ton to be honest.

Does anyone know why KONAMI is silent?
They are normally tight lipped before their first reveal tbf. Granted, they normally reveal it earlier – E3, historically. But E3 was online this year, and at any rate, it's been in steady decline in importance for the industry, for a long time now.

I don't care about the trailer this much, thing is, something I've always liked about Konami is PES trailers always showing the real game, not real life action like FIFA, however, since PES 2020 they added real life action between snippets of the game which is bad in my opinion because it says nothing about the game itself.
It's great to have Ronaldinho and Messi talking about football, but it doesn't tell anything about PES itself
And FIFA is far worse

I think we'll all be impressed with the graphics, but it will be on par if not slightly better than a modded PC version of 2021. My biggest source of concern with the beta is with the disappointingly floaty gameplay, and slow response indicative of a deficient animation engine. It's particularly disappointing because they've been working on it for over 3 years at this point.

I think the gameplay won't change much from what we saw in the beta, since the questionnare had gameplay questions.

Graphically, it better be a huge step up from the modded PC version, otherwise, what's the point?

The graphics on that leaked beta was horrendous though.

Cloth physics removed, cloth wrinkle normal map simulation removed, grass texture looking repetitive, crowds vanishing in and out of existence

I'm expecting something like PES 2014. Innovative in some ways that really give hope but we'll see how any potential backlash affects their development through their cycle. Should be a very interesting day.

That said interesting trend the last few years - the release dates have been going back worldwide.

PES 2019 - Aug 28th
PES 2020 - Sept 10th
PES 2021 - Sept 15th

Havin played the early network test Beta (In mind it was an early version of PES22, too much new stuff in it to just be a mobile version, it was either a new game next to the mainline console pes or pes2022) im having 0 faith in this being an upgrade all around the board.
There were some nice updates and there was some cool stuff that had potential but for me the first thing that should be right is the ball physics and the free feeling. What i've felt in PS2 PES and what I genuinely feel the last few Fox engine games too.

My god did that network test feel stringy, balloon balls, laser balls, all the wrong things. Momentum came less into play in terms of how you move to how the shot trajectory was and all that stuff which I feel is one of the things they DO simulate right after so many years again in the latter games.

To have that all back to ground zero because of a new engine would be the biggest downer for me.
Also not feeling the Unreal engine cross platform with Mobile vibes if they go for that
I might enjoy the fluff if there are some new cutscenes and new mechanics that seem fun but it would completely take me out of the game again as it did around PES2008 onwards when it took a very arcade and stringy approach imo

Looking forward none the less on wednesday, just thought i'd give my two cents on here, probably a very unpopular opinion
Lets hope the suprise is big, but i expect absolutely ZERO :P

Personally, I am discouraged and it worries me of the so-called new mechanics, which I think are painfully unbalanced and insufficiently thought out, or are meant to work first on the mobile version and then on the console. Whether to give examples, at the moment, I don't think it is necessary, but in short things like fake strikes, the strikes in general, close control, removing the R2 + pass mechanics for a higher or for a bit more accurate low pass, and the defense play will be a HUGE problem, etc.

The question is whether I will have the desire to get used to these misunderstandings called "new mechanics".

It's somewhat weird that they didn't hold their Neymar card, really.

I mean, it's smart in a business perspective because it drives people to keep on using that myClub or whatever (never interested so never used it but I guess they're adding it there?) even when you're one day away from announcing pes 2021. And sure, FIFA is being shown today and you kinda take the attention away for a bit.

But it also somewhat damages PES-or-whatever 2022 that you show things for 2021 one day away from announcement, and you refusing to mention it at all in any form, or tease, or act like nothing. Japanese company stuff I guess, Nintendo does weird stuff on marketing sometimes too.
