eFootball (All Platforms)

I'd be very cautious buying any Steam hardware considering their track record with such failed projects haha.
Meh I'm getting it. Even if it's not good enough to run PES 2022 in 720p at 60 fps (it will be), I have a TON of Steam Games in my library that perfectly fit for a handheld format, and I haven't installed them yet. This device will make these games more accessible to me.

The big drawback to me is as a content creator, I won't be able to capture footage for YouTube because it won't be a good enough quality for anything other than Twitter and Instagram.

Edit: There's also the question of whether or not sider.exe will smoothly run in the Linux environment. But with 2022 we don't even know how it will be modded.

The pricing is perfect, especially with Alienware UFO concept projected to be +$800 and without even track pads. I love how they made the steam deck mouse-friendly with those dual track pads and gyro input.

Come on Konami! Let's do it!

Fuck of €A with his medieval gen for PC's. Show us that you are the real playerz and have the mojo.

Don't leave us alone Konami!

😱

I'm scared about what I wrote above, but don't want to play one year again some oldgen season downgrades...

They announced an announcement (which we already knew about it).

I had decided not to write anything until the 21st but ... what the hell is this !? .. New Title Maybe, but not sure but It's possible... maybe on 21 has some chance but... maybe is possible but who know ?

Great Job again, Konami are the best bonerkillers of all time. All around the game this year looks like a mess. What is going on...

Don't tell me it's maybe possible! Say that there will be a huge reveal on 21th of the ... it has already become clear to the blind man that it will be the new title of the game, that's it! What is this maybe and possibly possible .. what do they have so much to hide ..

Isn't there at least one reasonable person in the PR department of this multibillion-dollar company.

Wow! What a relief! So the annoucement of the annoucement wont be the July 21 "trailer"
I dunno man, still could be something similarly underwhelming. 30 second teaser with a date to finish on, in August, for the full reveal. Always prepare for disappointments.

Won't we have more of Fifa 22 the day before (20 July)?

Well, I watched a video of fellow-modern-Konami-lover Jim Sterling the other day, where they basically talked about the OLED Switch and the reaction from Nintendo fans. And honestly, I think they pretty much nailed it for this game as well.

We honestly shouldn't expect nothing at all, knowing Konami these last years. I'm not even saying it to defend them. We shouldn't expect nothing because basically when did they ever actually deliver anything these years? Not even them are really promoting stuff and spreading lies... the only thing that was ever said is that it'll use the Unreal Engine and that's the only thing that they could be piled on. They just say nothing and all these websites and experts, leakers or whatever keep hyping stuff up out of thin air.

There'd be a lot of stuff that'd be great... but it's Konami. And being fair to them, yes, it's really fucking lazy if the game ends up being that demo (I still think it won't be exactly that but that's me), but they really never didn't hype anything up so why even bother. I guess we'll see soon. We can be disappointed, but that video really put me on the right mindset: why overexpect or waste energy on it, it's kinda silly knowing Konami, and the cycle always repeats.

Anyone else find that the pitch is too big or the player's model are too small in current pes/pes22 demo? I hope they get it right as its the most basic thing but very important

My prediction for 21st

> Release date
>Pre-order date
>screen grabs showing sweat, grass, boots and shirt textile
>some partnership announcements
>maybe a pre-rendered bicycle kick

The end

No need to show gameplay if you’ve played the beta, it is what it is.
I repeat, but no longer sure of partnership announcements or a bicycle kick…………….oh and I’ll remove the plural to screen grab and add new shitty name.

I would just add :

-the new name eFootball/New Football or whatevs

-And of course,, obviously, probably, for sure, God save..... preorder bonuses!!! and clubs editions, standard edition, special edition, 1 year after anniversary edition, etc. What IM, Legends, BBs, rental players, coin bonuses you receive with each edition.

Fak the gameplay, screw the gameplay.. Who needs gameplay anyway, when you have coins, spins and Iconic Moments! :)

Let me remind you the last two presentations of the reworked master league of 2019

https://www.konami.com/wepes/2019/us/en-us/topic/new_feature_5

And mambo-jumbo mega remastered master league of 2020

If I knew to post memes, I would post this one.. View attachment 110691
Unpopular opinion but this reminds me how much I loved the graphic presentation of 2019 ML menus compared to their 2020/2021 counterparts.

What was the difference between 2019 menu and any other ML menu from 2016~2021?

Except for the usual change from vertical to horizontal and vice-versa and the average info that is showing or missing in the home screen.

The only "new????!!!" feature I like in PES2019 was that the tab "info on entered competition" was in the surface easy selectable and not buried two submenus underground.

Or you mean the presentation in game, or in promo days?

i wish i could have back that awesome animated background from 2016:
3d player models in slow motion are the best... :...
add some stadiums to that and you have a winner!

Only comparing to newer ML menus of 2020/2021, PES 2019 was my first soccer game since PES 14 so I can't really tell about PES 16/17/18.
I remember that ML menu more simple and intuitive, and i liked the % in the trasfers, even if not realistic at all.

But i recognise that we are into subjective views

I booted up PES 14 again and compared to PES 18-21, it seems like the animations are better while moving the player still feels more responsive than current games. Like you can do finer movements, felt so great compared to current ones.

So currently Pes 13, 08, 06 felt very responsive, 14 was still decent in terms of input delay. I thought 14 would be as laggy as the current ones.

14 was a good base but they moved from that on to later titles.

Ok dude i understand.nothin on debate here.i got what you mean.Yes there are info and features there are usually removed, like the one you mention. I bet if you try pes2018 ML you would love the menu even more for some extra info tabs like team status/job security etc.

2016 had the best PES menu's (and perhaps content too) ever.
Can't believe how they screwed up the gks in that game though.

I'm eagerly awaiting the release news of PES/new football game 2022 so I can start planning the funeral for it ,only fair since it's been in hospice since 2018

I'm seeing this video about 18
And wow, yes, seems really cool, and I absolutely love the negotiation screen and Transfer Data next to the squad list that contains everything you need

I hope something big from Konami in 2 days but i fear the worst!
I hope preorder options, a big and long trailer and release date of course!
I think the trailer will be boring like this one : pes 14

Pes 2012 was great :

No need to wait two days here is the press release:

"You guys know Fortnite and Pubg, right? Well guess what, we are thrilled to announce that you can now play against your mates on mobile! Wow isn't that cool? We know you will all love this. The game itself? Let's not go into it but remember that time we said you can play against mobile? Wild, right? And I know what you are thinking: What about my favorite mode, MyClub? You can play that, and I know you'll love this, against your mates on mobile! Obviously this means it will be the best PES ever. One last thing, you can also play on mobile! Against your mates on console! What a thrill. Alright see you next fall here's how you preorder bye bye."
