I'm on Slow, Legendary, semi assisted controls. Really good. Been playing the scenarios a lot recently. Spain beat Turkey in the last minute, and in highly dramatic fashion - after missing a penalty with Xavi in the 86th minute, I broke from a Turkish corner in the 89th. Some magical manual through balling sent Xavi through but wide. Laid the ball back to 25 yards out, Torres took a touch inside his marker and rifled the ball in off the post.
Pressuring really isn't all that bad offline. It's still too much, granted, but it's something you can definitely work around with dribbling and simple passing (manual through balls are immense for this).
The effect of the second press button is something that has been discussed with EA recently. My best games online have been against other people who also don't use second press (or only when it makes sense). What I suggested was that, if you hold square, your second player runs up to the man on the ball and then jockeys; if you then press L1 while holding square (X?) then you switch to the second presser. Perhaps putting some sort of ghosted player cursor over a non-human player who is second pressing would also help matters - you'd see who you'd be switching to, and your human opponent would see you are second pressing and not be caught cold as often happens at the moment.
One of the other things that was suggested was that you can't primary press and second press at the same time. It makes game sense, but not convinced that this makes footballing sense.
I've also pointed stamina out to EA - I took snaps of the stamina gauges of teams just before the start of extra time, and at the start of the 2nd half of ET. The devs are looking into it.
